GODLONTON -- David Cecil Godlonton, aged 52 years, passed away peacefully in his sleep after a difficult battle with cancer, on January 21, 1998. He is survived by his parents, Grace and Cecil Godlonton; an older brother Eddie Godlonton and his wife Isabel and their children, Clinton (Tanya), Lisa David (Chad), Danny and Chrissy; a sister Carolyn Scott and her daughter Taralee Gall (Wade); and great-nephew and nieces, Jordan, Christina and Sydney. Private Family Services will be held at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME, 1708 - 16 Avenue N.W. Cremation, Calgary Crematorium. HARGREAVES -- Ruth May Hargreaves, beloved wife of Mr. Eric Hargreaves of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the Rockyview Hospital on January 21, 1998 at the age of 92 years. Besides her loving husband, Ruth is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Valerie J. and David Beeman; two grandchildren, Tracy J. Voth and W. INGRAM -- Mr. Robert William (Bob) Ingram, beloved husband of Mrs. Rosalie Ingram of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital on January 21, 1998 at the age of 70 years. Besides his loving wife, Bob is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Loesje of London, Ontario, Chris and Paula of Almonte, Ontario; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cathy and Howie Attfield of Calgary, Arlene and Brian Ferguson of Sparwood, B.C.; and his grandchildren, Angela, Timothy, Mark, Sarah and Thomas. He is also survived by a sister Joyce Sproule of Smith Falls, Ontario. Bob will be fondly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends. KESEGIC -- Mr. Andrija Kesegic, beloved husband of Mrs. Barbara Kesegic of Calgary, passed away at his residence on January 20, 1998, at the age of 81 years. Besides his loving wife Barbara, Andrija is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Walter and Karen Wagner of Vancouver, B.C., Jim Kesegic and Andy and Crystal Kesegic, all of Calgary. He is also survived by six grandchildren and a great-grandchild. KNUDSON -- Anne Irene Knudson passed away peacefully on January 19, 1998 at the age of 88 years. She is survived by her loving family, daughter Shirley (James) Huffman; granddaughter Kimberly Mercier; great-granddaughters, Danielle and Kayla Mercier and great-grandson Connor Culp. Anne was predeceased by her husband Peter. KOCOWSKY -- Mrs. Eugenia Kocowsky of Calgary, passed away at the Glamorgan Nursing Home on January 21, 1998 at the age of 82 years, beloved wife of Josef; and dear mother of Maria (Bill) Kravec, Martha (Barry) Woods. She is also survived by six grandchildren; one great-grandson; a sister Anna (Antin) Hoszowskyj; two nephews, Yurij and Walter Perewernycky. Mrs. Kocowsky was born in Danyliwci, Ukraine and came to Canada in 1949 to Montreal and Calgary in 1985. Relatives and friends are invited to meet for Prayers at LEYDEN'S "Chapel of Remembrance" (17 Avenue and 2 Street S.W.), this evening at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church (704 - 6 Street N.E.), on Saturday, January 24, 1998 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. MACDOUGALL -- Glenholme Lloyd Macdougall, born May 21, 1911, in Calgary, Alberta, passed away peacefully at his ranch at Pirmez Creek, Alberta, on January 21, 1998 at the age of 86 years. Having grown up in Calgary, Glen started his career as an insurance agent before signing on with the 15th Canadian Light Horse (Militia) as 2nd Lieutenant in 1935. He entered World War II in June 1940, as part of the Southern Alberta Regiment. Glen traveled the world, serving at various points in Canada, England, Holland, Belgium and Italy. In 1946 he was discharged as Major and upon his return to Canada, joined the Kings Own Calgary Regiment and served with them until 1958. Glen married Audrey Gardner of Pirmez Creek, Alberta, on June 4, 1951 and became actively involved with the ranching community. Although Glen was employed with Royal Insurance until his retirement in 1975, his primary interests were always with the ranch and his animals. He was an active supporter of the 4-H organization and a lifetime member of the Calgary Humane Society. Glen's humour, quick wit and generosity will always be lovingly remembered by his numerous friends near and far. Glen was predeceased by his wife Audrey Helen (Gardner) in 1974, his parents, May Helen Mewburn and Alfred Joseph Glenholme Macdougall. Funeral Services will be held at St. Stephen's Anglican Church (1121 - 14 Avenue S.W.), Calgary, Alberta, on Monday, January 26, 1998 at 2:00 p.m., with Canon R.R. Purdy officiating. MAGYAR -- Mr. Jozsef Magyar, beloved husband of Helen Magyar of Calgary, passed away suddenly in his home on Tuesday, January 20, 1998 at the age of 65 years. Jozsef is dearly missed by Helen, his only son Joseph, and friends. He is also survived by his sisters, Magdalena Kondrat, and Maria and husband Janos Kondrat; also his brother Laszlo and wife Ilona Magyar, all of Hungary. Jozsef is predeceased by his parents, Jozsef and Maria Magyar of Basko, Hungary. Joe was a quiet man, but when he spoke, his words were kind and carried great wisdom. He was born in Basko, Hungary on February 14, 1932 and came to Canada in 1956, searching for a better life. Joe was a cabinet maker, and the beauty of the things he built brought joy to many. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church (819 - 13 Avenue S.W.), on Sunday, January 25, 1998 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church on Monday, January 26, 1998 at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Istvan Zachfalvy officiating. Graveside Service to follow at Queen's Park Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the charity of the donor's choice.

McBAIN -- Kathleen, born January 14, 1913, passed away peacefully on January 20, 1998, at the age of 85 years at Bethany Care Centre, Cochrane, Alberta. Kathleen was born near Cremona and received her education at Dog Pound School. Kathleen then attended Olds College and the University of Alberta. She received her teacher's certificate and taught school in the rural areas of Alberta and British Columbia for twenty-five years. She moved to Cochrane when she retired. Kathleen is survived by her sisters, Molly Turnbull and Frances Ward; brothers, George (Angie) McBain, Mickey (Betty) McBain; numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 26, 1998 at 1:00 p.m. from the Cremona United Church with Reverend Lois Birnie officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Kathleen McBain Memorial Organ Fund, Bethany Care Centre, 302 Quigley Drive, Cochrane, AB T0L 0W4. McNAB -- John McNab, beloved husband of Mary and loving father of Sharron (Ron) Rawlusyk, Lester (Ann) and Dennis; and five grandchildren. McWALTER -- William (Bill), beloved husband of Mrs. Audrey McWalter of Calgary, passed away at his home on January 18, 1998 at the age of 54 years. He is the loving father of Ian (Jessie) of Saskatoon, Sask., Heather and Kelty of Calgary. Bill is also survived by his grandchildren, Andrea and Emily; his mother Dorothy of Calgary; his sister Jessie (Garry) Reynolds of Calgary; sisters-in-law, Millie and Sharon (Wally); as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Andrew in 1994. Bill worked for many years in the oil industry and has worked at Canada Post for the last thirteen years. MICHELL -- John Bernard (Jack) passed away at home in Kingston, Ontario on January 17, 1998. Born on January 23, 1923 in Calgary. He has lived in Ontario for forty-seven years. He leaves to mourn, his wife Pat and family. Funeral Services in Kingston on January 21, 1998.

PITT -- Christina Ann Elizabeth (Tine) passed away peacefully at the Sarcee Care Centre on Tuesday, January 20, 1998 at the age of 97 years. Tina was born in Kinosota, Lakeview Unorganized (now Manitoba), on August 2, 1900, the second of ten children born to Ida and Donald McLeod. At the age of seventeen she began working as a comptometer operator in Eaton's Mail Order in Winnipeg and at twenty-two married Arthur, who predeceased her in January 1991, one month before their Sixty-Ninth Wedding Anniversary. Tine is survived and will be greatly missed by her daughter Eileen and her husband Vernon Stearns; granddaughter Linda of Brooks; grandson Arthur (Melanie) of Calgary; and a great-grandson Lyle. She is also survived by a sister Jessie O'Keefe of Vancouver and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 24 at 2:30 p.m. at the Sarcee Care Centre Chapel, 3504 - 29 Street S.W. with Sister Elizabeth Lynch and Reverend Arnie Chamberlain officiating. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, the family would appreciate donations to Sarcee Continuing Care Centre, 3504 - 29 Street S.W., Calgary T3E 2L3. QUARRIE -- Mrs. Lillian Rozell Quarrie of Fernie, B.C., passed away at the Extended Care Centre at the Fernie District Hospital on Wednesday, January 21, 1998 at the age of 82 years. Lillian is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Phyllis Quarrie and their daughter Sonia, all of Calgary; and one daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Ron Porter of Elkford, B.C. and their sons Michael Wert, also of Elkford, B.C.; and Kevin Wert of Rossland, B.C. She was predeceased by her husband Ernest. Over the years, Mom touched many lives. After she completed nurses training in Chicago, she was employed at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. She eventually married our Dad, Ernie, and settled in Rossland where we were raised and she continued her nursing career. While in Rossland she was a member of the PTA, a first aid instructor, and a Brownie and Guide Leader. After moving to Sparwood, Mom was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 81 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. If our mother had a fault is was the inability to say no to someone who needed a favor. Alzheimer's disease took a lot from our mother, but we shall always remember her laugh, her love and her devotion. Funeral Services will be held at St. Barbara's Anglican Church, Sparwood, on Saturday, January 24, 1998 at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. John Pratt officiating. Cremation took place at SALUS FUNERAL CHAPEL'S "Elk Valley Crematorium", in Fernie. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Tom Uphill Memorial Home, Box 910, Fernie, B.C. RICHARDSON -- Mr. William Henry (Bill) of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the Peter Lougheed Hospital on January 21, 1998 at the age of 82 years. He is survived by a daughter Cathy McGregor of Squamish, B.C.; two sons, Al and Gordon Richardson, both of Calgary; four grandchildren, Kim, Jodie, Kenny, and Jeanette. He is also survived by Dorothy's son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Alice Gibson of Calgary. RORBAK -- Mr. Knud Rorbak passed away January 21, 1998 at the Rockyview Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife Sandy Rorbak; his mother Ebba Rorbak; as well as his sister Sonja (Ted) Baker of Salt Spring Island, B.C. ROTHERY -- Adabel "Addie" Rothery died peacefully at Sarcee Nursing Home on Wednesday, January 21, 1998 in her 90th year. She leaves to remember and celebrate her life, her daughter Midge Gilchrist; grandchildren, Allan and Susanne Gilchrist, Lori and Les Croal; and great-grandchildren, Jessi, Kelsey, Mackenzie, Christopher and Nicole of Calgary. Addie is lovingly remembered by Jack and Ruth Rothery, Rhonda, David, Bryan and Kathy, and their son Bret, and Bill and Iris Rothery, Karen, Earl and Kathy, and their son Jordan, in Ontario, and other relatives. Addie was predeceased by her son Terry Allan, and husbands, Tom Allan and Stan Rothery of Parry Sound, Ontario. Mum's warm and loving nature, her willingness to help others and her sense of humor endeared her to family and friends. Our thanks and appreciation go to Dr. Evelyn Jain, Home Caregivers, Dr. Pereles and the staff of Sarcee Nursing Home.
