KNUDSEN - Lucille "Lu" Knudsen, of Calgary, passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, at the Peter Lougheed Centre on June 7, 2006 at the age of 73 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Al (Cece), Dwight (Sandy), Brenda Boos (Dennis Gamble), Craig and Mark, 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren. 1 brother, 3 sisters and numerous other relatives.
A Celebration of Lucille's life will be held in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home on Saturday, June 10, 2006 at 10:00 a.m.
A Graveside Service will follow in the Garden of Memories, Mountain View Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Archie Duckett
DUCKETT - Archie Franklin Duckett passed away peacefully at the Forest Grove Care Centre in Calgary, Sunday, April 23 at the age of 90 years.
He was born in Moscow, Idaho, took his schooling in Moscow and the "Bench" area of the Cypress Hills where he ranched and helped others until WW II.
He worked serving his country in the shops in Borden, England as a mechanic until his discharge in 1946, then came to Brooks and farmed until 1990 retiring to Chestermere Lake and Calgary.
Surviving is his loving wife Mary of 59 years, son Wayne (Dorothy) of Brooks, daughter Karen McKnight of Calgary, four grandchildren Sheri, Shawna, Ryan (Candace) and Colleen (Matthew); as well as five siblings, Hazel Cornell (Campbell River), Lucy Penney (Libby Mt.), Milly Whyte (Ponoka), Les and Irene Duckett (Victoria, BC) and Mabel and Ron Davis of Windermere BC and a myriad of nieces, nephews and their families.
A Private Family Graveside Service was held at the Mountain View Funeral Home on Monday, May 1, 2006 at 2:00 p.m.

Mr. Manuel Avelino Felgueiras
FELGUEIRAS - Manuel Avelino, born November 29, 1941 in Esposende, Portugal, passed away at the Foothills Hospital, Calgary, on Tuesday, June 6, 2006.
Manuel will be lovingly remembered by: his children, Sara (Rob), Nani (Nellie), Susana, and their mother Amelia; grandchildren, Vanessa, Natasha, Michael, Chase, Hope, Savannah and Faith; sister Augusta, as well as family in Toronto.
He was predeceased by his mother Maria, brothers Jose Sr. and Agostinho.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at Our Lady of Fatima (4747 - 30 St. SE) on Thursday, June 8, 2006 at 7:30 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima on Friday, June 9, 2006 at 10:00 a.m.

Clinton Hugh Smith
December 25, 1913 - April 21, 2006
Clinton was born in Ontario. In 1922, at age 8, he moved West with his family to Claresholm, Alberta.
The majority of his life he spent working and farming in the Vauxhall area. Clinton met and married Agnes Rempel in 1953.
In 2000 Clinton and Agnes moved to Chestermere where he spent his final years at home near his family.
He passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital with his family at his side.
Clinton will be lovingly missed by Agnes, his wife of 53 years; daughter Laureen (Terry) Rich of Regina and their children Colin, Sharla, Cara, Melanie; and daughter Sharon (Nick) Woronuk of Chestermere and their children Bradley, Curtis and Heather.
He was a favorite brother-in-law and uncle to numerous nephews and nieces all across Canada.
A Prayer Service will be held in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home on Thursday, April 27, 2006 at 7:30PM.
A Funeral Service will be held at Vauxhall Mennonite Brethren Church on Friday, April 28, 2006 at 2:00PM with interment to follow at Vauxhall Cemetery.
Donations may be made to Vauxhall Parkview United Church, Strathmore United Church, or the CNIB.

Mr. Archie Metzger
METZGER - Archie Metzger, of Calgary, AB, beloved husband of the late Alice Metzger, passed away peacefully at the Drumheller Health Centre on April 13, 2006 at the age of 80 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his two sons: Don (Joan) and Brian (Helen-Anne) ; four grandchildren: Marty Metzger, Vicky Penner, Melissa (Brent) Rosling and Melanie Metzger; four great grandchildren: Justine Penner, Scott, Cole and Taryn Metzger; two sisters: Alma (Steve) Homeniuk and Audrey (Ray) Morrish; one brother Bob Metzger; very special friend Diane Woltmann and numerous other relatives.
Archie was born in Carbon, AB on September 1, 1925 and farmed there until he and Alice retired to Calgary in 1991.
He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and enthusiastically participated in all of Evergreen Senior's activities.
Archie enjoyed golfing, bowling, music and drinking coffee at Tim Horton's.

Mr. Arthur Proctor
PROCTOR - Arthur Frederick beloved husband of Mrs. Frances Proctor of Calgary, passed away at the Agape Hospice on April 26, 2006 at the age of 70 years.
Arthur will be lovingly remembered by the love of his life his granddaughter, Mariah Holland, his children: Ida Leask of Barr Head, Arthur (Marg) Proctor of Edmonton, Merle (Kim) Proctor of Calgary, Francine (Larry) Kreba of Calgary, and Elana (Mark) Holland of Calgary; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He is also survived by his sisters, Hazel Ostler and Louise (Reuben) Hayes, brother Larry (Shirley) Proctor and numerous other family members and friends.
Arthur was predeceased by his parents, two sisters, one brother and two nieces.
