BRCIC - Elizabeth “Betty” Emily of Calgary, passed away at the Foothills Hospital on September 19, 2006, at the age of 69 years.
Betty will be lovingly remembered by her children, Brent Brcic of Okotoks and Jennifer (Kim) Garvey of Calgary; six grandchildren; Arturo Brcic and brothers Ernest Kuntz and Charles Kuntz.
She was predeceased by her sister Ann Fieldhouse and brother Donald Kuntz.
Betty was born in Empress, Alberta but lived out her life in Calgary, Alberta.
She loved to read and enjoyed sitting in the garden with her flowers.
Betty was a loving, caring person and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A Private Memorial Service was held.

Mr. Walter Ernest Caskey
CASKEY - Walter Ernest of Calgary, passed away at the Mayfair Care Centre on September 8, 2006, at the age of 91 years.
Walter will be lovingly remembered by: his children, Francis Caskey of Stettler, AB, Beth Caskey Caskey of Duncan, BC, Marlene Caskey of Nanoose Bay, BC, Janice Caskey (Bob Long) of Calgary; daughter-in-law, Janet Caskey of Calgary as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his first wife Marion; his second wife Hildegard and his son Donald.
Walter was born on March 5, 1915.
He was a teacher, and was active in Pleasant Heights United Church and the Kerby Centre.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Southwood United Church (10690 Elbow Dr. SW) on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at 11:00 a.m.
Interment to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.

Mr. William Scheible
SCHEIBLE - William, beloved husband for 66 years of Alvina of Calgary, passed away at the Rosedale Hospice on Tuesday, September 5, 2006, at the age of 88 years. William will be lovingly remembered by: his children, Bernice (Gordon) Schetzsle, Carol (Rod) McCuaig, Donna (Don) Staten, Janice (Dale) Shield; 11 grandchildren; 21 Great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He is also survived by his sister, Loretta Daleug.
William was predeceased by: his brothers, Arthur, Oswald, Albert and twin brother Fred.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at Mountain View Funeral Home on Friday, September 8, 2006 at 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held at St. John Lutheran Church (204 - 6A Street NE) on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at 1:00 p.m.

MANZ - Ronald Lincoln
June 25, 1928 - August 29, 2006
Ronald Lincoln Manz passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, which he fought with determination and strength.
Ron will be lovingly remembered by his children, Jade Manz and Cari Manz both of Calgary, AB; his wife, Joan Manz of Invermere, BC; his only grandchild, McKenzie Manz-Gibson; his sister, Babe (Olga) Fluker of Fort Saskatchewan, AB and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by his brother, Arnold Manz and sisters, Gertrude Bavin and Dorie Ross.
Ron was born in Edmonton, AB and resided in Calgary for the better part of his life.
His last years were spent travelling with his companion, Isabel and being with his family - those things gave him much pleasure.
His family drew much happiness and support from Ron and he will be sadly missed.
Ron attended the University of Alberta and graduated with a BSc degree majoring in Geology.
He loved his profession and his many friends continue to be inspired with his knowledge and enthusiasm for his job, his life and his family.
At Ron’s request, no Funeral Services will be held.
A Celebration of Ron’s life will be held at The Glencoe Club (Downtown) 636 – 29 Ave. S.W. on Friday, September 1, 2006 at 2:00 p.m.

Ken Kenning
1942 ~ 2006
In loving memory of my dear husband, our father and granddad who passed away after a brief but courageous battle with cancer on August 28, 2006.
Ken’s memory will be cherished by his wife, best friend and soul mate, Nina.
He will always be loved and never forgotten by his three children, Sherri, Shannon and Randy.
He had also touched the lives of his stepchildren, Liz and Brian; as well as seven grandchildren.
Ken’s skills, wisdom and generosity will be remembered by the many people in the electrical and construction trades in the Calgary, Winnipeg and the Thunder Bay area.
There will be an open house on Friday, September 1, 2006 at 12 Oakchurch Crescent S.W. at 2:00 p.m. for those wishing to pay their respects to Ken and Nina.
The family would like to thank the staff at Unit 47, Tom Baker Cancer Centre, the Foothills Hospital, the Care West Sarcee Hospice and the Rockyview Hospital Emergency.
