Stickle, Dorothy (nee Buhler) September 13, 1921 passed away December 23, 2007. She will be deeply missed by her sons, Darwyn (Hedy) and Dale and her daughter Rhonda Rogers (Dave), her grandchildren Brandi, Kelsey, Brittany, Kate, Leigh and Brady; her brothers Hank Buhler and Gordon Buhler and sisters Linda, Bergey, Martha Allen and Dori Jacobson, as well as the many friends she’s known in Williams Lake, Vernon and Kelowna. She was buried next to her beloved husband John who pre-deceased her in 1981, in Williams Lake Cemetery on Friday, December 28 at 11:00am. She was pre-deceased by her parents David and Anna Buhler and brothers Reuben Buhler, Elmer Buhler and Charlie Buhler. A memorial service at the Vernon Seventh-Day Adventist Church will take place at a later date. Her family would like to thank the I.C.U. nursing staff and doctors at Kelowna General Hospital for their skilled care administered with such amazing professionalism.

It is with great sadness that the family of Ken Rogers announces his accidental death in Chile, while on a motorcycle trip with friends. He is survived by Judy, his loving wife of 40 years; 3 daughters of whom he was so proud: Kendra (Mauro), Amber (KC) and Megan (Johnny) and his 6 wonderful grandsons whom he loved so dearly: Massimo, Luca, Alessandro, Matteo, Dylan and Elliot. He is also survived by his mother, Carolyn; sister Lynne (Jim); brothers, Bob (Susan) and Bill (Diane); sisters-in-law Jane and Jackie (Jack); as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their families. He is pre-deceased by his father, Gordon; father-in-law, Harold; mother-in-law, Ruby and brother-in-law, George. Ken worked for 25 years for School District #27 as a respected administrator. In his retirement, his main source of joy was his family, followed by a love of travel and of course his passion for motorcycling. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and remembered for his patience, kindness, helpfulness, generosity and love of family.
We will always love you, Bub. Thank you for all the wonderful memories.

A celebration of life will be held at the Gibraltar Room on Saturday, February 23, 2008 from 2-5pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cariboo Memorial Foundation Trust (echogram).
