Rockey lived in Rolla, British Columbia, he was born June 21, 1956 in Edmonton, Alberta and passed away March 8th, 2012 at the Royal Alexander Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta.
The most important things in Rockey’s life were not material they were his family and cats. He was the proudest son, brother, uncle and great uncle ever. Always bragging about how good mom cooked, dad made this, Lorrie fixed, Sharon could and the kids can. Rockey enjoyed travelling, making many miles to visit his brother, sister in law and nephews in Nanaimo. Stopping at all his relatives homes for a visit along the way back to Rolla. Rockey spoiled his cats, like they were children. Letting them eat canned tuna and drinking bottled water. Only the best for Punkie and Princess! Rockey consider his friends as family, always there to lend a hand or just to hang out with. With his laugh, a smile and quick little joke Rockey always made the day better and the world seem not so chaotic.
Loving Great Uncle to Jaydan, Cache, Riplee, Deklin and Maddox. Uncle to Tabitha (Troy), Brad, Chase (Kari), and Kevin. Beloved older brother to Lorrie (Lisa) and Sharon (Rod) . Eldest son to Frances & Howard Prier. Rockey was predeceased by his father Kenneth Schultz, Sept 2, 1959. Rockey will be sadly missed but never forgotten by his many aunts, uncles,
cousins and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at the Rolla Community Hall, April 25th, 2012 at 2:00 pm
