Krulicki, Norma Ella
October 31, 1930 - April 28, 2009
We regret to announce the passing of longtime Hope resident, Norma Krulicki, on Tuesday, April 28, 2009, in the Hope Hospice unit of Fraser Valley Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Beamsville, Lincoln County, Ontario, Norma was predeceased by her two oldest sons, Alan, and Bryan (Carrie).
She will be lovingly missed and fondly remembered by her husband, Joseph, children, Cathy, Donna (Ron), Tim (Bonnie), Frank (Sherry) and David.
Norma is also survived by her grandchildren, Angela, Tracy, Kimberly, Aaron, Mindy, Jennifer, David, Michael, Taylor, Carter, Madison, Stephanie, Christopher and Brianna.
Norma was also a great-grandmother to Connor, Devon, Shelby, Alexander and Trinity.
Norma wanted to make sure she also bid a fond farewell to her special coffee drinking girlfriends.
There will be no service at Norma's request.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hope Hospice Society.
MARTIN, James (Jim) Archie
July 24, 1922 - April 20, 2009
Jim passed away after a long battle with an illness that claimed his life on Monday, April 20, 2009.
A good father, husband, and friend, he will be missed by all who loved him and remembered by all who had the honor to know him.
Jim is survived by his wife, Dorothy, of 54 years; his son, Patrick (Laurie); daughters, Colleen, June (Jevan), and Gail; and granddaughter Kori.
Jim was a bushman and pilot.
He loved to travel. He shared his life experiences by writing a book.
He was one of Jehovah's Witnesses, which gives him the wonderful hope of the resurrection to life on this beautiful earth that he loved so much.
HOLSTEN, Wilma Marjorie
October 30, 1925 - April 14, 2009
Wilma Holsten passed away peacefully at 1:45 p.m. on April 14, 2009 in the Fraser Canyon Hospital Hospice in Hope, B.C., from lung cancer.
Wilma was born on October 30, 1925 in Allen, Saskatchewan.
She is survived by her four daughters; Lois Westlake (Ray), Louise Friesen (Henry), Linda Greene/Harrison (Darwin), Jerri-Lynn Wilson, and her son, Murray McNeil (Joy).
Also, survived by her two brothers; George Cossette (Louise) and Leslie Cossette (Doreen), both of Saskatchewan.
In addition, Wilma is survived by 20 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Henry (Bud) McNeil, her second husband, Elmer Theodore Holsten, and her son, Gerald Allen McNeil.
Wilma possessed great strength of will and determination and spent her life supporting those she loved in one way or another.
Her strength of will helped her survive, for all of us, as long as she did before she returned home to God with courage and dignity.
All of us who loved her, will remember her sense of humour, her constant interest and support of our endeavours and most of all, for the legacy of love and strength she has given us.
We will miss her so, but she will remain in our hearts forever!
The family would like to thank the staff of the Fraser Canyon Hospital and Hospice and extend a very special thank you to Dr. Suzanne Christie of Hope, for her exceptional care and friendship to Wilma and our family.

Isaacson, Eric
May 27, 1936 - Apr. 12, 2009
Eric Isaacson of Hope, B.C., born May 27, 1936, died peacefully in Abbotsford, B.C., on April 12, 2009, with granddaughter, Kristin at his side.
Eric was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence and Grace of Jones Lake.
He is survived by his wife, Jean of 53 years, his children: David, and Laura (Rick) Jamieson, his grandchildren: Kristin, Sarah, Michael, Garry, Keith, Cody and Courtney, 7 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
A Service will be held on Friday, April 17, at 1:30 p.m. at Cascade Church, 35190 Delair Rd., Abbotsford, B.C.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Eric's name to B.C. Children's Hospital or a charity of choice.

Predeceased by husband, Joe, Dec. 2, 1987, son, Kerry, Dec. 5, 2004.
Lifetime member of Burrard Chapter #3 OES, Member Canyon OES #70 & Zahara #72 Daughters of the Nile.
Memorial Service was held at Hope United Church, April 8.

Harold Robert Beckensell passed away in Hope, B.C., on Sunday, March 29, 2009, at the age of 77 years.
Harold is survived by his loving family: wife, Diane; children: Wade, Kevin, Tricia, Dorothy and Jamie; and grandchildren: Christina and Michael.
A Tea will be held at the Eagles Hall at a time yet to be determined.

BROW, Patricia Marie
Born March 31, 1925 - Passed away March 13, 2009
Patricia was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, William Vincent Brow.
She is survived by her 4 children, Sandra, Michael, Sharon and Charles.
Also by 7 grandchildren, Adonna, Tracy, Matthew, Teri, Chris, Scott and Mark and by 12 great-grandchildren.
Patricia lost her battle with ovarian cancer after a gallant fight.
She passed away quietly in palliative care at the Fraser Canyon Hospital.
Patricia was a member of the Canyon Golden Agers Club and also the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary.
Many thanks to Dr. Kehler and Dr. Christie who took over care while Dr. Fourie was away and a BIG thank you to the wonderful nurses in our Hope hospital.
There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, March 21 at 2 p.m. at the Eagles Hall, 386 Fort St.
Mom, you are in Dad's loving arms again. We will miss you. Rest in Peace.
