Born in Langford Municipality (Neepawa, Manitoba) May 25, 1910, Ione passed away peacefully at Langley Lodge September 30, 2010.
She was predeceased by husband Cam and her brother Lewis.
Survived by Glenn (Judy), Ray (Jan), Faye Steinke (Ted), Ann Butcher (Bob), and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ione was a long-time resident of Maple Ridge before moving to Langley in 1994.
The family is most grateful for the care mom received at Langley Lodge, with a special thanks to staff who worked on the 3rd floor. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ione’s name, to Langley Care Foundation, 5451 204 Street, Langley, V3A 5M9, would be appreciated.
Graveside service will be held at Maple Ridge Cemetery, 21404 Dewdney Trunk Road at 2:30 pm October 15, 2010 followed by a tea.
De Oliveira, John Jr.
John De Oliveira Jr. was a loving generous and adventurous young man whose brief life was cut short by a car accident on Tuesday October 19, 2010 at 11:50pm, at the corner of Lougheed Hwy. and Harris Road in Pitt Meadows.
John touched the hearts and lives of many whose path he crossed with his bright and beautiful smile and cherry personality, he was always ready to reach a hand out to those in need, he loved life and the people in it.
John began his life’s journey on October 11, 1989 in Vancouver, B.C. the son of John De Oliveira Sr. and Audrey De Oliveira and his loving sister Venessa De Oliveira.
John will be greatly missed by his Grandparents, Filomena De Oliveira, John and Marjorie Willox, Uncle Manuel /Tina Cousin Brandon, Aunt and Godmother Linda/Dave, cousins Kristain, Melissa, Mathew, Amy. Korena Kline, Cassidy, Harmony.
Godfathers Rocco and Domiano and family and his amazing friends who he loved, cherished and touched there lives.
John De Oliveira passed away with his soul mate and the love of his life Beckie Dyer.
The two were off to an amazing new life together but sadly taken from them and now they walk hand in hand peacefully as two Angels.
John’s one favorite pass time was to play video games but when he got bored of that he would take out his Big Green Machine and chill with all his 4x4 friends and really get down and dirty deep in mud.
And now Johnny you can Shred Pow up in Heaven and smile down on us with your big beautiful smile.

Dyer, Rebecca “Beckie” Cassandra
It is with our deepest regret we are announcing the passing of our beloved daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend Beckie.
Rebecca Cassandra Dyer born February 17, 1991 was taken from us suddenly Tuesday October 19, 2010 in a tragic car accident.
Beckie was with the love of her life John De Oliveira at the time she was taken to heaven.
Beckie led a life filled with joy, laughter and thoughtfulness towards others.
Beckie devoted her life to others around her selflessly with volunteer work which was recognized when she received the Lynn Papp Community Service Award.
Beckie’s time & efforts raising money for the Variety Club are not soon to be forgotten.
Beckie did not limit her efforts to just those people around her but also embraced the animal world as well volunteering with various animal rights/rescue organizations.
Beckie was taking her young life’s dream of helping others with her on her path to adulthood with schooling and career choice of becoming a nurse.
Beckie would want us all to remember her favorite quote and as it was her life pledge: “Be the change you want to see in the world” Ghandi Beckie will be survived by her mother Debbie Dyer and other family members, her Grandma Cathy and Grandpa Ted (g-pa), Oma Lisa and Opa John, Uncle Mark, Auntie Shar, Kaelen, Raegen, Jaden, Uncle Rob, Auntie Monica, Samantha, Kyle, Kianna, Uncle Tom, Jaden, Brianna, Auntie Brenda, Uncle Pete, Elijah and many other relatives.
Beckie will always be remembered by her “bis fis” as well as many other friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a Memorial Service held on Thursday October 28, 2010 at the Maple Ridge Baptist Church 22155 Lougheed Hwy at 11:00 am with a celebration of life to follow: You will always be the person in my life whom I love the most.

Bearchell, Barry Paul Michael
late of Maple Ridge, B.C. and formerly of New Westminster, B.C. passed away peacefully, October 22, 2010 at the age of 57.
Predeceased by his mother Mary, father Sidney, his sisters Reenie Bearchell, Gwen Hawick, Mickey Fraser and brothers, Ted Bearchell and Dan Bearchell.
Barry is survived by his sisters Beth Bearchell and her family, Rosaleen Berger and her family, Norman Bearchell and his family.
A Service will be held at the St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church 330 Royal Ave New Westminster, at 12:00pm on Friday October 29, 2010.

Passed away after a lengthy illness leaving his wife, Andrea and his three sons – Scott (Stephanie), Curtis (Jennifer) & Jason.
Also missing him are grandchildren Taylor, Tyson, & Dexter; stepdaughter Alexandra and his many brothers, sister, aunts & uncles.
Doug was a “flatlander” from Manitoba who made B.C. his home the last 22 years.
He enjoyed boating, fishing, camping & playing hockey.
He was often spotted rollerblading around town.

Hazel Clare Ansell, passed away peacefully November 11, 2010 at the age of 94.
Hazel was born on July 6, 1916 in Edmonton, Alberta.
Daughter of Mabel and William Houghton.
Hazel was predeceased by her Husband Laurie Ansell and her Daughter Linda Jane Ansell.
She is survived by her son Wayne Ansell and Daughter Peggy Baird.
Grandchildren Geoff Ansell, Barbara Wiebe, Elaine Nelmes, Janette Heppel, Larry Jaroszuk, Chris Fedje and Mark Fedje.
Great-grandchildren Nolan, Hannah, Brittany, Tyson, Josh, Brittany, Julie, Andrea, Scott, Sarah.
She will be remembered for her feisty personality, her endless colorful sayings and her conversations with her cats, most of all Tinker-bell.
Hazel's family will be getting together privately to celebrate Hazels life.
