It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Randy after a courageous battle with cancer. Randy was predeceased by his son David in 1986 and his father Virgil in 2003. Randy leaves behind his loving wife Cathy, daughter Jennifer (Jeff), son Graham, grandson Zachary, mother Betty (Dieter), sister Sheila (Rick), brothers Rick (Marianne), Larry (Lucille), mother and father-in-law Sharon and Alex and the Pearson family. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends share our loss. Randy had a special bond with his dearest friends Hans, Al, Uncle David and Peter. Oliver, Floyd
After a long courageous battle with cancer, Floyd passed away on December 11, 2008 in the Simon Fraser Lodge at the age of 89 years. Floyd was born November 2, 1919 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan He then later came to B.C. On November 23, 1955 he married his love Dorothy who will deeply miss him. Floyd will be greatly missed by his son, Barry (Karen); daughter Debbie; his grandchildren Chantel, Derik and His brother Lyle of Penticton. There will be no service by request. Wilber Mercer
MERCER - Wilber (Bert) April 10, 1924 December 10, 2008 Left to grieve are his children Gary, Diane, Carol and Sheri, 15 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Bert lived by McMillan Creek and worked in the Prince George area from the early sixties to mid 2000. After losing his wife, Barbara, he moved to Alberta with Sheri and her family. A memorial will be held in the Summer of 2009.

Lawrence Wuskynyk passed away peacefully on December 1st, 2008, at his home in Prince George, BC. at the age of 79 years. Lawrence was born September 24th, 1929 in Detroit Michigan. He moved with his family to Red Rose, Manitoba in 1935 where he spent his childhood. Lawrence worked his way to the west where he met his future wife Ellen in her father's sawmill at Brule, AB. After they were married, they lived in Brule until 1967 when they moved to Vancouver Island. They spent the next three years in Crofton. Lawrence worked as a heavy equipment operator and had to follow the work, in 1970 he again moved his family to the Quesnel area where the children grew up. Lawrence later moved to Prince George where he retired and lived out is life. Lawrence is survived by his wife Ellen, five children; Renee, Dawn, Yvonne, Larry, & Coreen, twelve grandchildren, and five siblings; Mike, Emilia, Bernice, Robert, and Olive. A private Memorial will be planned for a later date. Lawrence had a great love for animals so we ask that Memorial Tributes be made to your local SPCA. Mirko passed away peacefully in the care of the wonderful staff at the Jubilee Lodge. He has been predeceased by his son Danny. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Milica. His son David (wife Angela and grandkids Samantha and Jordan). His daughter Diane, his granddaughter Milissa, his daughter-in-law Lori (step grandchildren Sarah and Leslie). His relatives in Kitchener, Ontario. Also relatives in Croatia. He will also be missed by his numerous friends here in Prince George. We regret to announce the death at Vernon Jubilee Hospital on December 20, 2008, of Patricia Andersson, at the age of 71 years. She was a resident of Wells, Smithers, Kitwanga and Hazelton over the years, and was Postmaster at Telkwa for a long time prior to retiring to Lumby in 2003. Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Nils, in July 2008. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children: Ren (Debbie) Andersson of Terrace and Linn (Neil) Buchanan of Kamloops; grandchildren Tiffany and Bethany of Terrace; sister Lenora Fogarty of Salmon Arm, and brother David Williams of Wells, BC. She also leaves to mourn numerous extended family members in Canada and in Sweden. A gathering to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday, December 28, at 1:30 p.m. in the O.A.P. Hall in Lumby. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to do so may make donations in her memory to the Canadian Cancer Society. The family wish to extend their thanks to Patricia's many friends at "The Villas" and at the Lumby Legion for their great kindness and support. Sadly we announce the passing of Ron on December 17th after losing the battle with cancer. Predeceased by his father Melbourne, mother Pearl and sister Bernice (Weaver). Ron left Bridgewater N.S. in 1965 to make his fortune in booming Prince George B.C. Two months later Helen joined him - after chasing him all the way across Canada to marry him. Together we created what we called the BC dynasty: Daughters Trudi (Dean) Bird, Crystal Nicholson, and Kerri Haines. Grandchildren Ronald Bird, Tiffany Bird, Allysha Nicholson and Breanne Nicholson. A resume of occupations would include: working on the lake boats, cleaning furnaces, delivering soda pop, tree faller, skidder owner/operator, tow truck owner/operator, and setting up camps for fire fighters. He enjoyed softball, bowling, curling, horseshoes, and most of all lake fishing. Ron was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose for many years and actively held many chairs. For the last 6 years he was a proud member of AA. There will be no funeral service by Ron’s request. In lieu of flowers we ask that you give your loved ones a kiss and a hug to show them your love.
