ALICE SANREGRET (nee Werstiuk)
April 4, 1932 ~ February 13, 2008
It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our loving mother and wife. Alice passed away at Hospice House in Prince George surrounded by her family who meant everything to her. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Kenneth, four children: Kevin, Kathy (Roger), Janice, Randy (Juanita), 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, as well as siblings Mary, Lena, Gloria, Mike, Lyn and her many friends and extended family. She was a woman with great strength who fought a courageous battle with cancer during the last decade and she will be sadly missed by all. Alice was born in Lac Canard, Alberta on her parents homestead. She was predeceased by her father Bill in 1937, by her mother Anne in 1972, by her step-father George in 1989 and by her brother Ernie in 1991. Our greatest legacy is one of Family, Laughter and Memories. Many thanks to the Hospice House staff who made her last few days so comfortable. A graveside service will be held at the Prince George Cemetery on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Prince George Hospice House.
Celynn Cadieux
CADIEUX - Celynn went to be with the Lord on April 1, 2007 at the age of 22 years. Survived by her loving father and mother; brother: Joshua; sisters: Courtney and Katheryn; grandmother: Ann. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at 1:30pm from Assman's Funeral Chapel with Father John Garden officiating.
Robert Bruce Joseph Davidson
February 18, 1949 - July 22, 2008
It is with great sadness that the family of Bob Davidson shares the news of his sudden passing Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at the age of 59. Bob will forever be sadly missed by his loving wife of 35 years, Tricia Gale, and his children, Robert Edward (Rebecca) and Pennie-Lynn. He will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Ian Robert and Katherine "Katie" Elisabeth, and dear mother-in-law, Rose Martin. Bob leaves behind his seven sisters: Yvonne, Heather, Mikki, Katherine, Laurie, Sherrie, Elinore, and their families. He is predeceased by his parents, John and Florence Davidson. Bob was employed with the Ministry of Tourism, Sports and the Arts in Prince George. For many years he worked for the Ministry of Forests in Fort Nelson, Mackenzie, Dawson Creek and Prince George. Bob lived simply and lovingly, with good humour and a strong devotion to his family. Bob's gentle nature was particularly evident in his tremendous love and joy for his grandchildren, Ian and Katie. A Funeral Mass celebrating Bob's life will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1088 Gillett St on Friday, July 25th, at 2:00 pm. DORIS RUTH MARCH
September 29, 1961 to October 16, 2008
We are sad to announce the passing of Dori. She was born in Vancouver, B.C. and moved to 70 Mile House as a baby. Doris lived most of her life in the 70 Mile area. In 1990 she moved to Prince George until 2003 when she came back to 100 Mile House to look after her parents. Doris will be greatly missed by her parents Pete and Ethel March, her sister Alice and niece Alora, as well as by her sister Norma and family. She will also be missed by Sam Moore, Dawn Moore, Shirley L'Heureux, Kim Boyd and her best friend Scott Chamberlain. Doris was predeceased by her brother George March, Aunt Elsie Litke and Peggy Moore. Doris' first love was fishing with her good friend Scott; she also enjoyed hunting, playing pool, watching U.F.C. fights, and playing Keno. She was an animal lover especially to her cats Mary and Cleo. Doris also enjoyed helping her friends or a stranger. She would sit and listen to your problems or lend a helping hand. Her door was always open if you needed a place to stay. Doris had a heart of gold. She was a wonderful daughter, sister and a true friend. Doris rest in peace, your pain here is gone, one day we will all be together again. We love you with all our hearts, Mom, Dad, Alice and Alora. Brent passed away suddenly on Aug 18, 2008 in Zaragoza, Spain at the age of 40. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Susana, son Liam (3), daughter Bianca (10),
parents Gerald & Gladys Kolybaba, brother James (Julie, Anika, Logan), baba (known as grandma), Nellie Kolybaba, uncle & God Father Don (Fiona), aunt & godmother Joyce, aunts Pauline, Irene and many cousins. Brent is also lovingly remembered by in-laws Arthur (Mia), brother & sister in-laws, Eloy (Chus), Marta, Ana (Angel), Quiropractico Co. business partner Ben (Alicia), Elisa, Alessandro,
Angeletti and Simona, and sadly missed by many friends, nephews, nieces. Brent is predeceased by grandparents known as gigi/baba Pertrani (Maria) Stacheruk, gigi (grandfather) Mike Kolybaba, aunts Katherine, Sophia, Anna & cousin Anton. Brent was born May 22, 1968 in Kirkland Lake, Ontario.
Then moved with parents and brother James to Mackenzie, B.C. in 1974, where he enjoyed going to Mountainview Elementary School and enthusiastically involved in different sports, hockey his passion. He then moved to Prince George, B.C. in 1981 where h attended D.P. Todd High School. After high school, he then attended Simon Fraser University followed by Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, as his great passion. He practiced briefly in Prince George, then set up practice in Vanderhoof, B.C. In 2000 he further pursued his Chiropractic passion in Zaragoza Spain. Funeral services took place August 21, 2008 in Zaragoza, Spain. Such a well lived 40 years.
Go in peace husband, dad, son, grandson, brother, Uncle, nephew & cousin. With our love always.
ELIZABETH JOY (BETH) SINCLAIR
February 18, 1933 - May 29, 2008
Beth passed away very peacefully Thursday morning after a long and difficult struggle with COPD. She will be greatly missed and always remembered by her sons: Robert (Corinne) Sinclair, Butch Sinclair. Her daughter: Katherine (Rob) Sinclair all of Prince George. Sisters: Frances Jardine (Fran) of Moose Jaw, Doreen Ford (Red) of Thunder Bay, and Beth's twin Isabel Selinger (Bell) of Regina. Sister-In-Law: Ethel Spiller of Red Deer. Grandchildren: Ian, Allan, Jamie-Lee, Brooke, Chad, Jillese, Laura, Alec. Great-grandchildren: Zachary, Hayden and many nieces and nephews. Beth is predeceased by her husband George. Parents: Frank and Grace Spiller. Siblings: Bill Spiller, Mervin Spiller, Edith Hill. Beth was an incredibly giving person who always had a kind word for all, a devoted mother and a loyal friend. The teapot was always filled and her kitchen was a gathering place for all her familys' friends. She loved to visit and could always see the humorous side of life, loved long, lazy days at the lake (she was a fantastic swimmer and athlete), loved the outdoors and held a special place in her heart for her many much loved pets. A special thank-you to the staff at PGRH Transition Unit for their loving and attentive care. A Memorial Service will be held at Grace Anglican Church on Tuesday, June 3 at 2:00pm.
Glen Willard Haack
HAACK - Glen Willard born in Elmira Ontario on April 17, 1917 to Mabel Ermina (Hill) and Harvey Edward Haack, Glen has out lived his parents, siblings Burton (Cassie), Jim (Myril), and Alice (Bill) as well as all cousins. He joins his wife of 63 years, Sophie, in eternity. He passed away peacefully with his daughter Shirley, and granddaughter Kara, by his side shortly after 7am on Sunday, May 4, 2008 at the age of 91 in Prince George. He also leaves his daughter Joan (Dave), special friend Paul, grandson-in-law Robert, "Haack grandsons" Cale and Isaac, and great-grandchildren Sequae (Seecar), Quinny (Winky) and Will (the boy). Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at 1pm from Assman's Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at the Prince George City Cemetery. Following the interment refreshments will be served at the Elders Citizens Centre, 1692 10th Avenue.
Kathleen Alice Reid "Kaye"
Kathleen Alice Reid "Kaye" passed away peacefully on May 3, 2008 at PGRH in Prince George at the age of 79 years. Born September 22, 1928 in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta to Dow and Margaret Robison. She moved to Prince George in 1967 where she was very happy being an active member with the Old Time Fiddlers Association, and took pride in her work at the RCMP as CPIC Operator. Predeceased by her parents, one brother and four sisters. She will be deeply missed by her surviving sister, Dorothy Boles of Sherwood Park, Alberta, and her children, Pauline Johnson, Rick Appleton (Diane), Judee Harris (Victor), Bill Reid (Cindy), Robert Reid (Jo-Ann), Cindy Bissonette (Mark), Kathy Hobbins (Pat). Twenty-three grandchildren and twenty-nine great-grandchildren. A celebration of life tea will be held at 2190 McBride Cres on May 18, 2008 at 2:00 pm to 5pm.

Harry is survived by his wife Alice, 3 sons Brent, Bert (Laura), Loran (Heather), 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm, Monday September 8, 2008 at the Prince George Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army or the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation.
Norman V. Keeler
KEELER - Norman V., passed away on January 16, 2008 at the age of 64 after a battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his family who loved him and he will be sadly missed. He is survived by his sister: Norma Mitchell Keeler of Arlington, Washington; son: Norman Victor Keeler Jr. and his wife, Gwen Keeler; daughters: Katherine Virginia Keeler and Jenine Claire Keeler. Warm regards to the "Tweety Birds" for giving Norm a taste of Grandpahood. The family would like to thank the emergency staff at PGRH for treating Norm and his family with so much care and respect in his last days. Thanks also to all Norm's friends who have offered their support and paid respect over the past few months. LANGSTAFF - Vernon Jasper, born September 13, 1926 in Jasper, AB, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2008 at the age of 82. Vern is survived by his son Bruce of Valemount, B.C. and daughter-in-law Rosanna Kunka of PG. Two grandchildren Melanie (Adam) Reed and Kyle Kunka. Two great-grandchildren who were the light of his life - Keegan and Abbygale Reed. Vern will be missed by brothers Rodger (Alice), Ward (Barbara), Jim, sister Pauline, many nieces, nephews and many friends. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 4180 5th Ave, at 1:00pm Monday, March 17, 2008.
