Vivian Anette Marie Edna Feuerbach
January 5, 1935 - December 17, 2009
Vivian was taken from us suddenly on Thursday, December 17, 2009.
She is survived by her mother Blanche Clairmont (nee Constantin), brother Don (Dolly), sister Rachael (Ken), sister Lise (Bob), son Allan (Bernice) Feuerbach of Kamloops, grandchildren Mark and Tina, four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband Max, father Jean Baptiste Clairmont, brothers Gerry (Louise) and Paul (Helen) Clairmont.
Vivian was born on January 5, 1935 at Rouyn - Noranda, Quebec where she met and married Max Feuerbach in 1953. His job in mining led them west to B.C. to Merritt, Houston, Granisle and Kamloops.
In recent years Vivian volunteered at Desert Gardens Community Center and with Vista Community Services where she made many friends.
Respecting Vivian's wishes there will be no formal ceremony. A celebration of her life will be held in the spring when her ashes may finally rest next to her husband Max in Hillside Cemetery, Kamloops.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Vivian.

Frank Paul Wagner
Jan 13, 1931 - Dec 26, 2009
He came to fly.
Born in Kisbey, Sask, the eldest of 4 children, Frank joined the RCAF in 1948. Serving until 1977, he flew 34 different aircraft, including Sabres, Twin Otters, and Yukons, when he "retired" to fly executive aircraft for Syncrude for 12 years. When he finally retired in 1989, he settled in Carrying Place, Ont and volunteered with the RCAF Museum in Trenton, Ont. Frank claimed he never worked a day in his life, he enjoyed flying so much.
He had a quirky sense of humour, a love of language, and enjoyed a practical joke.
Frank will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 56 years, Norma, his daughter Linda (Duncan,) and his son Mike (Angela.) He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Greg, Christine, and Caitlin. Frank is survived by his brother Alvin.
Above the clouds, Frank will always be in the sunshine.

Gerry Dawn
July 11, 1916 - December 3, 2007
William Gerald “Gerry” Dawn of Logan Lake, B.C. passed away peacefully at home on December 3, 2007 at 91 years of age.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marjorie; children Carol of Logan Lake B.C. and Leslie (Fredrika) of Victoria BC; grandson Alexander; sisters Olive Turner of California and Isabelle Tondevold of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; and nieces and nephews Patricia Anne, John, Cathy (Russ), Tom (Diane), and Dawn.
He was predeceased by two brothers in-law John and George, and nephew David.
Gerry was born in Clarksburg, Grey County, Ontario on July 11, 1916. He farmed in Saskatchewan after serving overseas in the army during World War II, and worked for Fed Co-Op in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Gerry moved to B.C. in 1968, in the Armstrong-Vernon B.C. area. Later he lived in Golden, then Ashcroft and finally Logan Lake in 2004.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Gerry’s life with a gathering on Sunday, December 9, 2007 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at #4 Agate Drive in Logan Lake.

Thomas Vincent Ellison
January 2, 1936 – January 12, 2010
Thomas Vincent Ellison of Kamloops, B.C. passed away on January 12, 2010 at Kamloops Hospice House with his loving family at his side.
Thomas is survived by his wife Jackie Ellison; daughters Terri (Arthur) Devick and Janet (John) Morel, and their mother Loretta Ellison; stepchildren, Cori (Sean) Batson, Tammy Hanes, and Trevor (Kari) Highland; grandchildren, Thomas, Candice, Curtis, Travis, Daegan, Cody, Wayne, Darnell, Marissa, Courtney, Tara, Keenan, Tavia and Halle; and his brother Albert Ellison. He was predeceased by his son Brian Ellison.
Thomas retired from truck driving in 1991 so that he could pursue his passion in golf. Dad’s life was the Kamloops Golf Course where he was on the Board of Directors for the past 11 years and served as president for nine of those years. He had a vision for the course which will come to light this year.
Special thanks to the nurses of the RIH Cancer Clinic, Dr. Montalbetti and the staff at Kamloops Hospice.
A Celebration of Thomas’ life will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday, January 16, 2010 in the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel, 285 Fortune Drive.

Lily Violet Jordan, age 78 of Kamloops, B.C, went to Heaven on Tuesday, January 12th, 2010. Lily was born on November 8th, 1932 in Hardisty, AB, daughter of the late Hannah and Edwin Jones.
Lily is survived by her husband Barney Jordan, daughter Cindy (Mike) Kelley, stepchildren Dave (Mary) Jordan, Bob (Sharon) Jordan, Don Jordan, Dwain (Rose) Jordan.
Grandchildren Martina (Travis) Wall, Alesha Kelley, Kailee Jordan, Kristen (Jovan) Rodrigue, Kari McLachlan, Tammy Jordan, Jodi (Jeff) Smith, Cassidy (Kelsey) Jordan. Great Grandchildren Lucas Wall, Steven, Brandon, Zachary Giddens, and Teagan Smith. She is also survived by her sister Gwlad (Lowell) Andrews and Bert (Marie) Jones and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lily is predeceased by her 1st husband Don Whitehead, brothers Dave, Jack, and Percy Jones, and sister Dolly Anderson.
Lily will be sadly missed by countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know her.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 16th, 2010 at the Kamloops Seventh Day Adventist Church, 364 Fortune Drive at 2:00 p.m.

Melba Joyce Schultz

In loving Memory of Melba Joyce Schultz (Taylor)
Melba passed away peacefully at the age of 79 surrounded by her devoted family. Melba will be fondly remembered by her cheerfulness, sense of humour, quick wit and flattering comments to family and friends.
Melba was born in Melfort, Saskatchewan in 1928, raised and schooled in Burnaby, where she met the love of her life Herb, and started a family. They moved to Penticton in 1971, where they lived for 25 years until they moved to Kamloops in 1997 to be closer to their daughters.
Melba is survived by her daughters, Valerie (Willie) Wilson, Wendy Keys (Jimmy Shankar), Susan (Randy) Fehr, Pauline Ross (Kelly Winder). She also leaves her Grandchildren, Nicole (Troy) Larsen, Lee Wilson (Nicole Hamaguchi), Toni (Brad) Herbert, Shawn Keys (Brooke Pinsky), Joel Keys (Devon Van Mook), Mathew MacLean, Jenna & Kristin Ross, and great-grandchildren, Erik & Ryan Larsen, Britlynn Pinsky & Mattias Van Mook, as well as sisters, Eloise (Eric) Renas, Donna (Dave) Cairns and many nieces and nephews. Melba was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Herb Schultz, sisters Lorraine Foote & Maxine Wagner.

Neil Thompson of Kamloops, B.C., passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2010.
Neil is survived by his wife and best friend Joan, his four children Dave (Joan Bassett), Paul, Brian (Tammy), Julie (Dave) Korolik, and three grandchildren Brandon and Megan Korolick, and Breanna Thompson. He is also survived by his sister Jeanette Schlivinsky of Kamloops, brother Albert Thompson of Keighley, England, brother John Thompson of Bingley, England, sister Marilyn Bolton of Bradford, England, brother David Thompson of Bingley, England. He was also survived by his in-laws Vanessa Brown, Pauline (Steve) Fleming, Mike (Hilary) Fosbrook, Dave (Pat) Fosbrook, Allan (Jessica) Fosbrook, Bernard (Noella) Stevenson and numerous nieces and nephews He was predeceased by his brother Ian Thompson, his sister-in-law Muriel Stevenson and his brother-in-law Burt Brown.
Neil was born on March 6, 1942, in Morton, England. Neil and Joan immigrated to Canada in 1967 to make a better life for their family. They first settled in Crescent Spur, then moved on to Prince George, and finally ended up in Kamloops. He retired in 2009 after 35 years as a Heavy Duty Machinist. He was a loving husband and devoted father who enjoyed having his grandchildren come to visit. He enjoyed fly fishing, model trains and family gatherings. He encouraged Joan to do whatever interested her. In 2003, he and Joan enjoyed an opportunity to visit their family back in England where Neil was able to reconnect with his brothers and sister who he had not seen since immigrating.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2010, in the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Rob Cave officiating.

James “Jim” Moen
November 11, 1935 – January 19, 2010
With heartfelt love and sorrow, we regret to announce the passing of our loving husband, dad and grandfather after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Jim was born November 11, 1935 in Chaplin, Saskatchewan. He married Audrey in 1955, making their first home in Prince George, B.C. A love of interior weather prompted a move to Kamloops in 1974. A heavy duty mechanic by trade, he retired from Weyerhaeuser in 1998. He enjoyed many years of camping, travelling, curling, skiing and tinkering in his garage before eventually settling into golf as his all time favourite past-time.
He will be remembered for his strong spirit, his devotion to family, and the joy he felt having his grandchildren grow up around him.
Left to cherish his memory are his devoted and loving wife of 54 years Audrey, their children Wendy (Roy) Connell, Daryl (Lorene) Moen, Terry (Milaine) Moen, and the grandchildren he was so proud of Sheri, Ryan, Brett, AJ, and Karyn. He will be sadly missed by his siblings Vida Lalonde and Cleona Jefcoat, his large extended family and many friends.
Our heartfelt thanks to all the staff and volunteers at Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home who took care of Dad and provided compassion and love to our family. Also a special thank you to Dr. John Reid.
Pastor Rob Cave will celebrate Jim’s life on Monday, January, 25, 2010 at 11:00am at Kamloops Evangelical Free Church, 1132 8th Street.
