Marvin Joseph Gettle
May 7, 1941 - March 17, 2011
Marvin Joseph Gettle passed away on March 17, 2011 at the age of 69 years. Marvin is survived by his loving wife Marlene Gettle, children Darcy (Terri) Gettle of Calgary AB, Coralee Gettle of Kamloops, B.C., Lance (Nicole) Gettle of Calgary, AB, Lorrie (Don) Pepper of Parksville, BC; seven grandchildren; sister Millie (Martin) Petz and Marvin’s mother Frances Gettle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marvin was predeceased by his father George Gettle.
Marvin was born in Lestock, Saskatchewan on May 7, 1941. He spent most of his childhood farming with his family in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. In later years he worked as a drywaller and a contractor throughout the Kamloops area. Marvin always enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing and gardening. But most of all spending his time with his grandchildren. Marvin was a great provider and loved his family dearly. He will be missed.
A Celebration of Marvin’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 25, 2011 in the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel, 285 Fortune Drive.

Margaret Louise Richard
November 26, 1955 - March 21, 2011
We are deeply saddened to announce that Margaret Richard passed away peacefully March 21st, 2011 at RIH in Kamloops with her family at her side.
Margaret was born and grew up in Kamloops, and together with her loving husband Ron, raised two boys, Wade (Coral) and Derek (Laura). She will also be sadly missed but always fondly remembered by her two grandchildren, Liam and Keira, as well as sisters Carole (Don) Hooker, Ruth (Lorne) Hansen and brothers Lyle (Trudy) and Russell (Joanne) Johnston. She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Myrtle Johnston and sister, Donna.
The family would like to express their sincerest thanks and gratitude to the caring doctors and nurses on 7 North at RIH.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Barriere, B.C. at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 26th 2011.

Ronnie Taylor
May 4, 1935 - March 30, 2011
Ronnie Taylor of Kamloops passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 57 years of age. He will be remembered by his loving wife Catherine, son David of Richmond, daughters Mary (Dave) of Surrey and Lisa of Kamloops, 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, and family in England.
Ronnie was predeceased by his parents, oldest son Peter and youngest daughter Lynne.
Ron was a wonderful husband, father and a friend to all. He loved sports and coached football in Richmond and in his spare time he loved to go fishing. Ron loved life to the fullest.
Thank you to all the staff, nurses and doctors on the 7th floor Renal Ward for all the loving care they gave to Ron.
Donations may be made in Ron’s memory to the Renal Word at Royal Inland Hospital or the charity of your choice.
Bela Bill Kiss
May 13, 1926 - February 10, 2008
Bela “Bill” Kiss of Kamloops passed away on February 10, 2008 at 81 years of age. He will be sadly missed by his loving family, wife Emma (of 51 years), children Leslie of Calgary, Alberta and Peter (Tara) of Kamloops; grandchildren Annika and Karrie; brother Balint and sister Mary in Hungary; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son David in 1968.
Bill was born on May 13, 1926 in Tornaszentjakab, Hungary. He immigrated to Canada in 1950. Bill and Emma were married on May 5, 1956 in Edmonton, Alberta. He pursued his trade in carpentry in the Kamloops region since 1957. Bill retired from carpentry in 1990 to pursue his love of hobby farming.

Robert Kenneth (Bob) Marlow
November 25th, 1957 - April 8th, 2011
He leaves to mourn his passing, his loving wife Debbie, daughters Christine (Jeff) Wood, Dayna Marlow (Barry), brothers Brian (Holly), Bradley (Faye), sisters Patricia (Doug) Mills, Allison (Ken) Spivak, Adriene (Shawn) Cleverly, mother-in-law Marlene Beck and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Ken and Joyce Marlow.
Bob loved the outdoors, golf and his Canucks.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be announced at a later date.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Harvey Paquette of Kamloops at the age of 79 years. He leaves behind his loving wife Ramona, children John of Kamloops, Judy of Boyle, Alberta and Barb (Aaron) of Kamloops, one grandchild Katlind.
A Visitation will take place on Thursday, February 14, 2008 between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. in the Rosewood Room at Kamloops Funeral Home.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday February 15, 2008 in the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Andrew Picklyk officiating.

Anne Gibb
March 7, 1927 - May 3, 2011
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie “Anne” Gibb on May 3, 2011 at the age of 84 years.
She is survived by her loving children Carol (Ray) Trombley of Charlie Lake, B.C. and Ron (Sharron) Gibb of Kamloops, grandchildren Danielle and Adam Trombley, and brother Jack Heppell of England.
Anne was predeceased by husband Boyd Gibb and her sister Agnes Cooper.
Anne was born on March 7, 1927 in Morpeth, England. She came to Canada as a war bride and married Boyd on April 22, 1948. A long time resident of Fort St. John, she came to Kamloops in 2008. Anne fought a valiant fight with Dementia and succumbed peacefully with her family at her side.
Special thanks to all of the Angels in B1 at the Hamlets at Westsyde.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
