Debra Lorraine Wild
December 18, 1963 - December 27, 2010
With great sorrow we mourn the passing of Debra Lorraine Wild (Arndt), who was taken from us suddenly on December 27, 2010 at the age of 47. A loving wife and mother, Deb will be greatly missed by her husband, Douglas, daughter Christina (Scott), son Matthew, and grandchildren Josephine and Theodore.
Deb also leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Faye, brothers Darryl and Dale, sister Sherry, and numerous beloved in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her father Albert Arndt predeceased her.
Family and friends will fondly remember Deb as a bright light in their lives, one who had a talent for cooking, baking, cake decorating, and a passion for traveling, entertaining, and scrapbooking. She lived her life for those she loved, and was always eager to offer her talents to help them.
There will be a viewing at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Kamloops Funeral Home, 285 Fortune Drive, Kamloops, BC, with a Memorial Service to follow at 1:00pm.

Esther Williston
January 1, 1935 - December 26, 2010
On Sunday, December 26, 2010, Mrs Esther Williston (nee Johnson) passed away peacefully at the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Memorial Hospice Home at the age of 75 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Cam of 51 years, in September 2006. She is survived by her son, John (Donna) of Yellowknife, her three daughters, Sherry (Murray) Willis of Kamloops, Carol (Doug) Adams of Tsawwassen and Gayle (Gary) Hunter of Merville, B.C. and her 12 grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. She also leaves to cherish her memory her birth family of three sisters, Lynn, Ruby and Helmy and three brothers, Art, Ivor and Eric, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by an infant sister, Florence in 1937, and also predeceased by her two brothers and five sisters of her adoptive family, Lena, Henry, Harold, Margaret, Edna, Hilda and Edith. She is also remembered by many nieces and nephews of her adoptive family.
Mom was born Esther Fresada Ingeborg Johnson in Evelyn, B.C. in 1935, to Bjuty and John Johnson. Mom met Dad in Smithers, when he came to work for his brother. They were married April 1955 in Penticton. Dad’s work took them to Kelowna, Salmon Arm, Vancouver and then to Kamloops. When Mom had finished raising us kids, she took a job driving school bus, which she thoroughly enjoyed.
When Mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in September 2010, she proceeded to get her affairs in order for the time when she would leave us. Mom had a brief stay in the hospital, and went into the Marjorie Willoughby Home for her last 10 days. She spoke often of the wonderful care she was receiving in hospice and appreciated so very much the caring staff. She also wanted thanks to go to the caring nurses on 3W at RIH. Special thanks to Dr. Hollman, the wonderful nurses and caring staff at the Marjorie Willoughby Home.
Funeral service will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at the Kamloops Convention Centre, 1250 Rogers Way, Kamloops B.C. with Mr. Dwayne Powell officiating.
Should friends desire, donations to the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Memorial Hospice Home, 72 Whiteshield Crescent South, Kamloops, B.C. V2E 2S9 in Memory of Mom would be appreciated.

THOMAS LLOYD PARK
December 16, 1919 - January 2, 2011
Thomas Lloyd Park of Kamloops passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2011 at 91 years of age.
He is survived by his loving wife Caroline Park; children Betty Emisch of 100 Mile House, Murray Park of 100 Mile House and Rhonda (Kevin) Kopp of Kamloops BC; grandchildren Kimber, Marlin, Jason (Becky), Conrad (Brittany), Miles, Mindy, Sarah, Cailan, Ryan, and Russell; several great grandchildren; brothers Alvin (Doreen) Park and Melvin (Olive) Park, sisters Ila Ellingson and Verna Park; and numerous other relatives. He was predeceased by his son Doug Park.
Thomas was born in Regina, Saskatchewan. He worked for the Douglas Lake Cattle Company and Weldwood Mill in 100 Mile House. In Quesnel, he also owned a trucking company. Thomas loved gardening, building things and especially Fishing.
He will be missed and never forgotten

Charles Francis Boldon
September 16, 1932 - January 3, 2011
Charles Francis Boldon of Kamloops passed away on Monday, January 3, 2011 at 78 years of age.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Patricia Boldon, daughters Diane (Marlon) Dosch and Colleen (Steve) Nemeth; grandchildren Amanda, Laura, Sarah, Mitchell and Cory, and great grandson Jaxon.
Charles was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick on September 16, 1932. During his lifetime he was employed in many jobs. After a time in the Navy, he worked his way across Canada to Vancouver, where he met his wife and they came to live in Kamloops. Charles worked at Tranquille School for a number of years.

Annie Veronica Donchi
July 29, 1932 - February 8, 2011
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Annie Donchi on February 8th, 2011.
Annie is survived by her children Les (Pat) of Edmonton, AB, Shirley (Al) Wiley of McLure, BC and Mike (Darlene) of Fort Nelson, BC. Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren Jason (Erin), Kenton, Kyler (Colby), Angie (Warren), Katrina, Chad (OC), Rory, Dana (Krystal), Rob, and Randy as well as ten great-grandchildren whom she loved and adored, and brothers Rudo (Marianne), Willie (Lois), sisters Olga (Bill), Mary (Len), brothers-in-law Bernard (Arlene) and Jim (Glenys).
Annie was predeceased by her husband John, her mother and father, Mike and Irne Matuga, other family members, Laura and Bud Wilson, Millie and Ken Schneider, Ronnie (Brenda) Donchi, and Robert and Lois Donchi.
Annie was born July 29th, 1932 in Kamloops, BC and lived in vinsulla. She was married October 13th, 1951 and remained in Vinsulla where all three kids were born, before moving to McLure until 2004. While in McLure, Annie spent her time tending gardens, flowers, fruit trees and the yard. She enjoyed a good hand of crib and playing card games with her friends. She also enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling and darts. Later on she learned to love doing crafts, while doing her puzzles and socializing with family, friends and grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m on Sunday, February 13th, 2011 at Kamloops Funeral Home, with interment to take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 14th, 2011 at Hillside Cemetery.

Sonia Frances Jarvie
April 18, 1943 - February 9, 2011
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sonia Jarvie on February 9th, 2011.
Sonia is survived by her spouse Gary Turner of Kamloops, BC, ex-husband Bill Jarvie of Kamloops, BC, and children Shane Jarvie of Merritt, BC, and Mike Jarvie of Melbourne, Australia. Also left to cherish her memory are four grandchildren Trey and Kerragan Selman, and Micah and Tameeka Jarvie.
Sonia was predeceased by her father Thomas Marr, of Melbourne Australia.
Sonia was born in Melbourne Australia on April 18, 1943. She was married in 1964 to a Canadian Bill Jarvie. On March 31, 1968 she had her first son Michael Thomas Jarvie. Twenty three month later on February 13, 1970 she had her second son Shane William Jarvie. On April 23, 1971 the family boarded the Camberra bound for Canada. After eighteen days at sea they landed in Vancouver. May 10, 1971 was the first time she had ever stepped on Canadian soil. The family resided in New Westminster for two years before moving to Kamloops where she has resided ever since. Her first employment was with Kmart where she remained for some 20 years until it closed. After that she started her own cleaning business until she retired at 65. On top of all that she has kept busy the last 22 years managing the Peter & Paul apartment buildings in Kamloops with her spouse Gary Turner. Over the years some of her favourite memories were: Bowling with her Kmart girls, family vacations, camping and fishing with Gary, and whipping up a great Chinese feast for her family and friends. And of course her life was always entertaining bringing up her two boys.

August 20, 1943 - February 16, 2011
Brian Frederick Maxymuik of Celista passed away on February 16, 2011 at 67 years of age.
He will be remembered by common law wife Shirley Diane Smith, son Ron Davies of Duncan BC, grandchild Cedar Davies, brother John Maxymuik, nieces Lisa Marie Hutton and Michel Letour, and aunts Lydia and Peggy. He was predeceased by his father John “Maxy” and mother Doris “Moe.”
The family would like to offer a special thanks to the Royal Inland I.C.U. nurses, especially Nurse Chris, and also to Dr. Prasad and Warren Bentley.

Phyllis Talbot Fraser
August 13, 1919 - March 14, 2011
Phyllis Talbot Fraser was born in England on August 13, 1919 and passed away in Kamloops on March 14, 2011 at the age of 91 years.
Phyllis is survived her loving children Doug (Kathy) Fraser of Williams Lake, BC. Sandra Fraser of Vancouver, BC. Ken Fraser of Kamloops, BC; grandchildren Kane (Cara) Fraser; Simon (Jill) Fraser; Caleb (Misty) Fraser and Jeff (Jena) Fraser; daughter in-law Andrea Fraser; numerous great grandchildren and many other family members.
Phyllis was predeceased by her husband Albert and son Keith.
Phyllis was born in England and moved to Canada as a baby. She was raised in Chilliwack. She was a teacher taking time to serve with WRNS (Womens Royal Naval Service) during WWII. Phyllis was married in 1950 to Albert James Fraser. Together they raised three sons and a daughter. She continued teaching until her retirement when She and Albert were blessed with the opportunity to travel extensively throughout the world.
Mom was always the center of the family and family events at her house were a common occurrence.
