CHIASSON - On Saturday November 20th. 2004 Joyce Maryann Chiasson (Seifert) passed away at the age of 47 in Chilliwack B.C. Predeceased by her two sons Peter and Dean, Survived by her husband Brian, father Charlie (Faye) and mother Ann, three brothers Dale (Juhli), Dan [Karen], Darin (Jody). Nieces and nephews. MELENCHUK - On Thursday, November 25, 2004, Edward Charles Melenchuk, late of Vancouver B.C., passed away at the age of 84 years. Edward was predeceased by his parents, sisters Irene (Bill) Miller, Anastasia and Lena (Jack) Spanier; brothers George, Henry, John, Alec (Anne), Tony, William and Sam. Edward is survived by his sisters Sr. Mary Ann, Jean (Edwin) Schulhauser and their children Ken (Diane) and Neil and families; sister-in-law Betty Melenchuck and her family as well as numerous relatives and friends. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 3, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. in St. Patrick R.C. Church, Cupar, Saskatchewan, with Rev. Robert MacKenzie, celebrant. FRIER - Henry Ernest passed away peacefully at home on May 29, 2004 after a courageous struggle with cancer. Henry was born November 2, 1943 in Balcarres, SK. He moved to British Columbia in April 1980. Left to mourn is his loving wife of 22 years, Lorraine; two daughters Nadine (Steve) Jackson and Denise (Jaime) Shannon; one son Trevor (Julie-Ann); seven grandchildren: Stacey (Mike), Roxanne (Rob), Troy (Jamie), Crystal, Brittany, Kayla, Kristen, and Raquel; brother Rudy (Donna Mae) Frier; sisters Joyce (Jack) Vankoughnett; Evelyn (Irvin) Scherle; mother and father-in-law Olga and John Derow; Darlene Derow and Dave Weisgerber; nieces, nephews, many relatives and good friends. Henry was predeceased by his parents Michael and Annie; also his brother Philip and sister Eleanor. A time of Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2004 from 6-8 p.m. at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831-28th Avenue, Surrey. A Celebration of Henry's life will take place on Wednesday, June 2, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre. Predeceased by her husband Jack, Lill will be missed by her brothers Peter & Ivor and sister Mimi her best friend Fred Watson, her family and many friends. BRADATSCH, RALPH CARL - Taken suddenly on March 31, 2003. Born in Liberec, CZ. in 1935 and immigrated to Canada in 1957, settling in Regina, Sask. After spending 33 years in Regina where he built a reputation in architectural photography, Ralph moved to Vancouver Island in 1990 where he semi-retired. Survived by his loving wife Linda, son Ralph (a.k.a. Grey) and daughter-in-law Connie. Stepsons Scott (Heather) Bertram, Mike (Laurie) Bertram, granddaughters Brianne and Callie Bertram. Our heartfelt thanks to Drs. Watson and Spence, and the staff of the ICU at Cowichan District Hospital, Duncan B.C. A celebration of his life will be held Sunday, April 27th in Regina. Time and place to be announced in the memoriam section of this paper on Saturday, April 19th.

WOOD — Pauline Wood died on August 7, 2003 in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital at 83 years of age. She is survived by, her loving family: husband John (Jack); son Murray (Kate) Wood of Saskatoon, Sask.; daughter Lynne (Dana) Hoever of Vernon; grandchildren, Doug Wake and James Wake of Saskatoon, Allison Wood and Crystal Wood both of Winnipeg; one bother James Gerein of Regina. One son Garth Wood predeceased her in 1985. Born in Vibank, Sask. She was a nurse at St. Pauls Hospital in Saskatoon until 1950 and when her children were born she was busy raising them and looking after the home. Pauline was the youngest of a family of ten children. She came to Vernon with her husband in 1997. Through her life she was active in the church. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 12, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. Reverend Father Martin Peyton celebrant. Cremation and burial of the urn in Vernon City Cemetery. SENDALL - Bernice (Bunny) nee Miller, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully at Glengarry Hospital, Victoria, on Friday, May 28, 2004 at age 95. Bunny was born March 11, 1909 to Laura and William Miller in Caron, Saskatchewan. She married Ronald Alma Sendall in 1929 and lived in Regina. They had two sons, William (Bill) and James (Jim). Bunny was grateful for a long, happy and eventful life in Regina and later in Victoria, B.C. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Ron in 1970; and her oldest son, Bill in 1991; and all of her siblings, Carl, Hattie, Harry, Bruce, Mabel and Florence. After Ron's death, Bunny moved to Victoria to be near her sons, Bill and Jim and her grandchildren. She enjoyed needlework, was an active volunteer at Village Crafts for many years and a life time member of the Anglican Church Women's Guild. She leaves to mourn, her son, Jim (Lorraine); her daughter-in-law, Mickey; grandson, Kelly (Linda); granddaughter, Claudia (Ray) Kriese; great-grandchildren, Jenna, Jeffrey Sendall and Jesse Kriese. She also leaves numerous nieces and nephews. Gram will be remembered by her many friends and relatives for her devotion to family, her keen sense of humour and her zest for life. "Gram" was considered a friend to all age groups and she will be sadly missed in our lives. A Celebration of Bunny's life will be held for family and friends on Saturday, June 19, 2004 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Foxborough Hills Clubhouse, 4318 Emily Carr Drive, Victoria. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the charity of choice. Bunny will be buried in Regina, Saskatchewan, beside her husband Ron.
