Alida Helena De Bruyn passed away peacefully on December 30, 2003 at Ebenezer Nursing Home in Abbotsford, B.C. at the age of 77 years. She was born in Zoetermeer, Zegwaart, Holland on November 28, 1926.
She is survived by 4 children; 1 son, Jake (Nancy) of Chilliwack and 3 daughters, Mary (Tony) Dennill of Black Creek, Joan (Carey) Prinse of Chilliwack, Alice (Bob) Hresavich of Chilliwack, 14 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 sisters; Pietertje Van Reeuwyk of Chilliwack and Maria Van Ojen of Holland, and 1 brother Martinus Hoogendoorn of Holland, as well as her uncle Geerlof of Holland, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Jacob in 1983, 2 brothers; Cornelis and Pieter and 1 sister Lena.
Services were held at the Bethel Netherlands Reformed Congregation Monday, January 5, 2004 @ 10:00 am with Rev. Peter Ruitenberg officiating.

McINNALLY, Raymond Hugh - Thursday, 30 Dec 2004
Raymond Hugh McInnally (born in Dublin, Ireland) passed away peacefully on Dec. 30, 2003 at Chilliwack General Hospital, surrounded by his loving wife, Hester, and sons, Hugh and John.
Ray is survived by his sister, Joan, family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held - Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004 at 12:30 p.m. from the Chapel of Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home 45865 Hocking Ave., Chilliwack.

WILLMORE, Ray - Wednesday, 29 Dec 2004
Ray Willmore passed away suddenly December 29, 2003 at the Chilliwack General Hospital in his 83rd year. He was born and raised in Victoria. He spent five years overseas with the Canadian army.
After he retired as a Queen’s Printer, he and his wife (a war bride) moved to Chilliwack. Rene died in 1992. Ray remarried in 1993.
Ray will be lovingly remembered by his wife Thelma; daughter Diane (Stan) Hunsbedt of Victoria, Garry (Brenda) Willmore of Beaverdell, stepson Bryon (Diana) Murphy, Darryl (Patty) Murphy, Colleen (Robin) Dyck, all of Chilliwack; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister-in-law Lilian Douglas of England; and many friends.
Ray delighted in dancing, camping, travelling and spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered for his great sense of humour and his gentleness.
A memorial service was held in the chapel of Henderson’s Funeral Home. Burial was in the Royal Canadian Legion Cemetery, Chilliwack.

SMITH, Albert George - Tuesday, 28 Dec 2004
Albert George Smith born in Winnipeg, Man., December 16, 1915, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2003 with family at his side.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Sybil; his brother Jack (Pat) of Winnipeg, Man.; sons, Greg, Lorne (April), and Howie (Dawn); and grandchildren, Chris, Carley (Nate), Matt and Katie.
He was predeceased by his brother Edgar.
Al joined the RCAF in 1941 and served during the Second World War up until 1966 when he moved his family to North Vancouver. He worked for B.C. Ferries until 1971, moved to Chilliwack, later to Pitt Meadows and finally to Surrey in 1988.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A memorial service and tea will be held at the Avondale Co-op in Surrey on January 11, 2004 at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Society of B.C., or to the charity of your choice.

Jodi passed away suddenly at St. Pauls Hospital in Vancouver B.C. on Dec. 27, 2003 at the age of 28.
She leaves to grieve her dad and mom Al and Judy of Abbotsford; brother, Darrell of Grande Prairie; as well as many friends.

Klara Emma Hahn passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2004 at Chilliwack General Hospital’s Extended Care Unit at age 77 years. She was born April 26, 1926 in Wolfschlugen, Germany.

The family sadly announces the passing of Carolyn (Reid) Templier on February 2, 2004 in her 90th year.
She was predeceased by her husband, Marvin Reid in 1966 and Joe Templier in 1980.
She is lovingly remembered by her children Marilyn (Terry) Coan, Don (Cheryl) Reid, Gordon (Rosemary) Reid, Pat (Ian) Ridgway, Ken (Ursula) Reid, 8 grandsons, 5 great-grandsons and 1 great-granddaughter, sisters Myrtle, Alvie and Beverly, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

RYCHLY, Thomas Walter - Sunday, 01 Feb 2004
Thomas Walter Rychly of Chilliwack, born February 11, 1955 in Pembroke, Ont., passed away peacefully on February 1, 2004 at the extended care unit in Mission, B.C., in his 49th year. He suffered a lengthy illness of diabetes and a massive stroke.
Tom is survived by his loving wife Gwen, of 28 years; his daughters, Amber Rychly of Chilliwack, and Santana Harden residing in Edmonton, Alta.; his two dear grandchildren, Austin Blayne Harden and Madyson Angellique Harden, residing in Edmonton, Alta; Tom’s father and mother, Walter and Marion Rychly of Chilliwack; his brothers Wayne Rychly of Edmonton, Alta., and David Rychly in Winnipeg, Man.
Tom served in the Armed Forces for 13 years as a cook. He had a posting in Lahr, Germany and served on ship with the Navy in Victoria. Tom will be remembered best by his family and friends for his greatest love next to his wife Gwen was his motorcycle. He and Gwen went on many trips and bike runs with his Honda. They both enjoyed their time with the Blue Knights and Defender’s Bike Club. Tom’s family thank the staff of Dogwood Lane at the ECU in Mission for taking such good care of Tom.

Nathan Thomas Cruse, unexpectedly at Chilliwack on January 31, 2004.
Survived by his loving wife Tobi; daughters, Samantha and Jessica; parents, Ron and Susan; brothers, Jacob (and family), and Ben (Tanya and family); parents-in-law, Jim and Joanne Poortinga; sisters-in-law, Chris (Steve and family), Cyndy (and family), and Lundi (Corrie); as well as many other loving relatives and friends.
Nathan very much loved his Lord, his family, his friends, and is greatly missed.

ROWLANDS, Bob - Sunday, 10 Oct 2004
Bob Rowlands late of Slesse Park, formerly of Cultus and Chilliwack passed away at the Chilliwack General Hospital at the age of 56. Bob was born October 10, 1947 in Chilliwack and has lived in this area all his life.
He worked in construction and renovating. He enjoyed his cats, horses, garden and helping his friends. He was a member of the Chilliwack Horse Association; Kinsmens Mother’s March and Kidney Foundation. He was a past member of C.R.V.R.A. and Chilliwack River Volunteer Fire Department.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2004 at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Anglican Church. Rev. C. Lenz officiating. Cremation, Valley Crematorium. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery at a date to be announced.
Pallbearers: Peter Rempel, Jim Dean, Phil Craven, and Al Perchacz. Honourary bearer Jack Coutts.
Bob is survived by his cousin Les Rowlands; 2nd cousin Julie Hobbs; good friends Judy Hollander; Judy (Mack) Perchacz ; Al Perchacz; Jim & Laura Dean; Jack Coutts and many good friends, neighbours and “Smith and Wesson”.
He was predeceased by his mother, Marion Rowlands and father, Sidney Rowlands and grandparents Maude and Joseph Banks.

EDMONDSON, Allan Cyril - Saturday, 10 Apr 2004
Allan Cyril Edmondson passed away on Saturday, Apr. 10, 2004 at Chilliwack General Hospital at age 86. He was born on August 20, 1917 in Chilliwack, B.C. Allan spent his working years as a logging truck driver, retiring at age 71.
Allan is survived by his wife of 61 years, Evyleen, his son Ken (Ruth) of Sardis, B.C., grandchildren Carrie and Marissa (mother Jenny) and two great grandchildren. His son Bob (Joan) of Salmon Arm, B.C., 3 step grandchildren, and 8 step great grandchildren, one sister Eileen Street and one brother Harold.
Allan married Evyleen in 1942. They resided at 45711 South Sumas Road, Sardis for 58 years where they raised their sons and spent his retirement. Allan enjoyed camping and fishing. He also took pride in his home and yard, spending many hours on his gardens and lawn. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, Apr. 16, 2004 at 1 pm in the Chapel of Henderson’s Funeral Home. Rev. Ian Grant and Rev. Gerald Walchuk officiating with the Interment at the Chilliwack Cemeteries.

Frederick George Werrell passed away at the Chilliwack General Hospital on April 9, 2004 at the age of 66 years. He was born in Reading, Barkhire, England on October 19, 1937.
He is survived by his loving wife Liz, son John (Delaine) of Abbotsford, daughter Christine (Michael) Hickman of Chilliwack, 4 grandchildren: Brandon, Cameron, Margaret, and Brianne; 2 brothers: Michael Werrell of Edmonton, AB. And Peter (Brenda), Werrell of Prince Rupert; sister: Christine (Gerry) Peters of Alberta; ex-daughter-in-law: Bernadette (Ralph).
He is predeceased by his parents Lillian and Frederick Werrell; brother: John; sister-in-law-Eileen Werrell.
Honorary bearers are John Werrell, Michael Hickman, Brandon Werrell, Cameron Werrell, Ralph Davis, Bob Lee.
