BOKMA John, born April 19, 1948 in the Netherlands, passed away peacefully at home on February 10, 2005.
He is survived and will be deeply missed by his parents Gerry and Pita Bokma, brother and sisters Klaas and Anne Bokma, Eke and Bill Schweitzer, Andy and Mary Bokma, Mickey and Randy Dobbs, his loving companion in life Michelle and children Cody and Shayla.
He will also be sadly missed by many family in the Netherlands, Ontario and California.
His humour and constant joking will live on forever in our hearts.
His legacy with Tim Hortons approximately (30 years) and the Cassidy Race Track (14 years) will be missed His endless compassion towards all people he came in contact with, his love of nature and the friendship he created will remain.
Friends may pay their last respects to John on Tuesday February 15 between the hours of 6 to 9pm at Sands Funeral Chapel, One Newcastle Avenue, Nanaimo, followed by a celebration of John's life on Wednesday February 16 at 11:00am.

WONG Henry, native son of Nanaimo, born July 18, 1912 passed away peacefully at Dufferin Place on October 12, 2004.
He is predeceased by his wife Soo Kim in 2001, Tony Wong (son), Sandra Wong (daughter-in-law).
Survived by his children: Bob (Sophie), Albert, Rosie (Tuen), Johnny, Norman (Betty), Mary (Ed), Nelson (Ruys) 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Henry loved to have his family around him.
He loved to travel with his wife Soo Kim and visit the local malls and talked to everyone.
A special thanks to Dr. Baird and the Staff at Dufferin Place for being so caring to our Dad.
A Funeral Service for Henry will be held at 2:30pm on Tuesday October 19, 2004 at Sands Funeral Chapel, One Newcastle Avenue, Nanaimo, B.C.
Interment to follow at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens.
Flowers are acceptable or donations in memory of Henry may be made to the Hospital Foundation, 1200 Dufferin Crescent, Nanaimo V9S 2B7.

He is survived by his loving family; his wife Xiang-Shu and his daughter May and William Shang, brother Jack and Tina Zhang, grandchildren: Victor, Cecilia Shang and Victoria Zhang, also on sister Jia Shou and brother Jia Zen in China.

McLellan, Margaret Alexandria born January 9, 1927 in Toronto, Ontario passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 11, 2005.
She leaves to mourn her passing six sons and two daughters Larry (Shirley) of Lund, B.C., Allan (Greg) of Lindbrook, Alberta, Neal (Flo), Brian, David, Tim (Adrienne), Linda (Dave) all of Nanaimo. Seven grandchildren, Trevor, Lee, Jason, Johnathan, Megan, Ashley and Cory.
There will be a service of remembrance at Sands Funeral Chapel, One Newcastle Ave, Nanaimo on Thursday March 17, at 3:00pm to be followed by cremation.
