Born in Vancouver, September 22, 1922, passed away March 21, 2005 in Richmond General Hospital. He will be remembered always with love by his wife of 55 years, Bjorg, his daughter Karin (Terry), his son John and his grandsons Dylan and Derek.
Jack's life from birth to his passing was spent in one home on the farm he loved surrounded by his family and friends.
Predeceased by his father, John, his mother Clara and his brother Arthur. He will be sadly missed by his brother Doug (Marg), sisters Marie, Anna (Johnny), all his nieces and nephews and a lifelong circle of friends.
Jack was a proud member of the Richmond Masonic Lodge for 51 years.
A Celebration of Jack's Life will be held at the Richmond Funeral Home, 8420 Cambie Rd, Richmond on Tuesday, March 29 at 2:00 pm. Jack will be cremated and interred with his mother and grandparents in a private family service at a later date.

Passed away peacefully in Richmond with her daughters by her side. born April 20th, 1928 in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
She will be sadly missed by her loving daughters, Wendy, Kathy (Rob) and Nancy; grandchildren, Nick, Ryan, Sherry, Steel, Mollie & Toby; brother, Jack (Lucy); sister, Toodie; her Bridge & Golf friends as well as numerous relatives and friends.
She has now joined bob, her loving husband of 50 years.

Peacefully on Sunday, March 13, 2005 Ken passed away at Vancouver General Hospital Left to cherish Ken's loving memory if his wife Sue; his daughters Tracy and Teri (Christ); and his grandson Jacob. Ken is also survived by his brothers Jim (Yoko) Nishimura, Chaki (Marilyn) Nishimura; his sisters Jane Ayukawa, Esther (Vic) Ayukawa; and his many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Ken's constant smile and contagious laughter will be greatly missed by his mnay friends and family.

Mr. Michael James Nugent

Born July 30, 1925 in Saint John, New Brunswick, died on March 8, 2005 in the Palliative ward of Richmond Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mike will be sadly missed by his devoted wife of over 56 years, Shirley, their daughter Jennifer Dufour, son-in-law, Paul and especially by his favorite grandson and namesake Mike, and also by his faithful companion his dog Mickey. He will also be missed by special friends, Gil and Mary Cavill. Mike is survived by his sister Eleanor O'Connor (Harry), sister-in-law Susia Nugent and many nieces and nephews especially Matthew and Sean.
Mike was a strongly opinionated, feisty and quick-witted individualist who deeply loved and protected his family. A graduate of both St. F.X. and Nova Scotia Tech he went on to own his own heating and air conditioning business in Ottawa and finally moved out to the West Coast to enjoy all of the things Vancouver has to offer. After trying his hand at boating he was bitten by the golfing bug and after retiring from American Air filter in 1985 he joined Green Acres Golf Course in Richmond as a marshal until ill health forced him to retire completely.
The family would like to thank Dr., L.K. Williams for all of his care and kindness over the years and Dr. Peter Quelch and his team of dedicated nurses for the wonderful care that Mike received in his final days.

Born May 1st, 1932 in Hilversum, The Netherlands. Passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 26th, 2005 at Deltaview Life Enrichment Centre, Delta, British Columbia.
Survived by his loving family, wife Elisabeth; sons, Patrick, Tim (Kelli-Ann), Chris (Helen), Roy (Kari) and his grandchildren Natalie, Jeffrey, Brady, Katelyn, Kimberly, Karling, Melanie, Colton and Hunter.
Frank and Elisabeth Van Hest immigrated to Canada from Holland in 1958. Moving to Richmond in 1965, they opened the first of four Art Knapp Plantland Garden Centres the family now owns.
Frank Van Hest was an extremely well known and respected horticulturist in the B.C. nursery industry. Frank's vast knowledge of everything to do with gardening and his unique humour will be greatly missed. Most of all, his overwhelming love, compassion and generosity towards his beloved family will remain in our hearts always. 'Big Frank' Van Hest will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of the Richmond Funeral Home, 8420 Cambie Road, Richmond, B.C. on Thursday, February 3rd, 2005 at 1;00 pm with a reception to follow in the Arbor Reception Centre of the Funeral Home.

Born May 13, 1930 in London, England, died on January 22, 2005 after a brief battle with cancer.
Predeceased by her husband Graham in 1991. Survived by her four children, Margaret (Bob), David (Julie), Christina (Len) and Stuart (Kate) and her pride and joy, her eight grandchildren, Branden, Christina, Erica, Tawnie, Joshua, Aaron, Jessica and Kevin. Also survived by her sister Beryl Szendrei, sister-in-law Joan Hougan, and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service to be held on Friday, January 28, 2005, 1:00 pm in the chapel of the Richmond Funeral Home, 8420 Cambie Road. Tea to follow.
