Passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2004. Predeceased by his wife Emily, September 25, 1991. Survived by his daughters, Sharon and Dianne (Paul); son Dewey (Lilly); granddaughters, Samantha (Kevin) and Anastasia; great-grandson Emmett; brother Ian (Pat), and many relatives and friends.
Mac lived his life to the fullest and could brighten any room with his ever present smile.
A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of Richmond Funeral Home, 8420 Cambie Road, Richmond, B.C. on Saturday, April 3, 2004 at 1:00 pm. A reception will follow immediately after the service at the Greenacres Golf Course located at 5040 No. 6 Road, Richmond.
Mr. Bernard "Bert" Ralph McFadden
April 20, 1919 - March 24, 2004

Born on April 20th, 1919 in Tompkins, Saskatchewan. Bert passed away suddenly at home on March 24th, 2004.
Bert was a lifelong electrician, founding McFadden and Marlett Electric. He was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge, a 27 year member of the Shrine Patrol and past-president of Rajah Shrine Club. Bert was a cymbalist and the oldest member of the Naval Vets Drum and Bugle Corps and a WWII Naval Vet. Bert volunteered his time to the No. 5 Legion and to the Goldren Mews as their secretary/treasurer for 13 years. Bert's love of golf, life and family will always be remembered.
He is survived by his loving wife Shirley and 2 daughters Lisa and Lara (Warren) and granddaughter Caroline and Bert's brother Ray of Kelowna.
A Memorial Service to be held in the Chapel of Richmond Funeral Home, 8420 Cambie Road, Richmond on Thursday, April 1st, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shrine Children's Charity.
Mr. Thomas Steven Fusick

Of Richmond, B.C. (known to his family and friends as Tommy) left our world to be with our Lord Jesus on March 20, 2004. He passed on peacefully at his home in Richmond, B.C. with his loved ones at his side.
Tommy kept his family and friends entertaineed with his colorful stories and anecdotes. He never gave up on life during his battle against esophageal cancer. He was a wonderful man and just after he was diagnosed, he said, "I have been so blessed. I have a beautiful family, wonderful friends and I am wealthy beyond any monetary means. I am ready to go to be with the Lord. I have lived a full life and I have no regrets." Tommy will be greatly missed.
The loves of Tommy's life were his beloved bride of 36 years Betty Lynne, his son Ryan (Leigh) Fusick, his daughters Dawn (Noel) Emson and Kim Fusick and his 6 precious grandchildren. Tommy is also survived by his mother Edith Fusick of Kelowna, his brother David (Evie) Fusick, his sisters: Carol (Darwin) Demers, Susan (Daryl) Haines and Darlene (Hal) Bottomley and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tommy was predeceased by his father Thomas Joseph Fusick and his sister, brother-in-law and nephew: Elizabeth, David and Christopher.
Tommy and his family wished to send special thank yous out to all those who assisted him during his fight, to all our family and friends for the love and prayers and support, B.C. Cancer agency, Vancouver General Hospital, and all his doctors, nurses and technicians (you known who you are). It takes special people with big hearts to work in an industry like this. Thank you for everything.

Mr. Kenneth "Ken" Leon Walach

Ken passed away peacefully on St. Patrick's Day after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
He was the beloved husband of Pat, devoted father to daughters Chemaine, Michelle, and Dionne and their husbands Mark, Mike and Les.
He was a proud and loving "Big Papa" to Keenan and Ethan. Ken was also admired by his very large extended family. We all loved him so much.
Before he retired Ken was a well-respected educator and administrator with the Richmond School Board and , as such, will be remembered by many.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Ken's life will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 27th, at Our Saviour Lutheran church, 6340 #4 Road, in Richmond. A reception will follow.

Born October 23rd, 1916 passed away March 20th, 2004. Predeceased by her husband Edward (February 10th, 2004), sisters Evelyn and Mary and brothers Johnny and Sam.
Survived by daughter Wendy (Don); grandchildren Chad and Markelle and many other relatives and friends.
Lily was a very sweet and caring person and she will be missed very much by us all. She was the best mother and grandmother in the world.

Born in Richmond April 29th, 1962, passed away on Sunday March 21st, 2004, at the age of 41.
We are very saddened by our loss and she will always be remembered in our hearts.
She was a beloved wife and mother and will especially be missed by her husband Perry and her two children, Coulson and Matthew.
She is predeceased by her mother Joan, survived by her father Hal and wife Marilou; brothers, Jay and Todd; sister Pam and their families. She will also be greatly missed by Perry's parents, brothers, sisters and families.
Sue was a very elegant woman who expressed her style in the most fashionable manner. Her heart was always open for anyone who needed to be heard and to be taken care of.
Prayer services will be held on Wednesday, March 24th at 7:30 pm and the Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 25th at 10:30 am. Both services will be held at St. Joseph's the Worker Church, 4451 Williams Road, Richmond, B.C.
