DOUGLAS - Earl Thomas. Passed away July 20, 1999 in his 84th year after a valiant 51/2 year struggle following a stroke. Born December 18, 1914 in Cochrane, Ontario. A loving husband, father and grandfather, he is survived by his wife of 52 years Betty, his son Earl (Sharon) and daughter Janice (Art Doyle) and his three adored grandsons Patrick, Cameron and Clayton. Also his best friend and brother-in-law Wearn Cox (Marge) and one remaining sister Norma of Powell River. During WWII, Earl served with the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry. After the war he became very active with the War Amps of Canada becoming past president of the Vancouver branch. Before retiring, Earl worked 30 years for the Pacific Pilotage Authority. In later years, Earl developed a passion for the game of golf, which gave him many new friends and experiences. He will be fondly remembered by all that knew him. The Douglas family would like to thank all staff of Evergreen House 3 South for their superb dedication and support. A private service by request. SCOTT - Agnes Muir "Nan" born November 30, 1902, passed away surrounded by family July 20, 1999. Predeceased by husband Thomas (1973). She is lovingly remembered by son Robert (Doris), nephew David, grandchildren Terry, Susan, great-grandchildren Patrick, Jason, Kelly, Graeme, Krystel and other relatives and friends who will always remember Nan as an avid walker of the West Vancouver seawall.

HARDY - Stan (1914-1999). Passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 1999. He leaves his wife Joan, daughter Linda McGregor, son-in-law Joe, niece Joyce Howitt, and one nephew Gordon Spicer. HILTON - Molly Marie (nee Gilmore). Born November 14, 1921 in Lethbridge, Alberta. Died peacefully with her family by her side at her home in North Vancouver on July 18, 1999. Molly was married for 25 years to Gerry Hilton until his death in 1972. She had a wonderful loving relationship with Tiny, her lovebird, who died recently. She is survived by her brothers John and Paul; four children John, Dennis, Jo-Anne and David; and five grandchildren Stephanie, Laura, Rachel, Kelsey and Sarah. Molly lived in North Vancouver for most of her life and graduated from St. Paul's School of Nursing in 1944. Molly retired as a respected and valued registered nurse after many years at Lions Gate Hospital. Beloved wife of James Stevenson. Passed away peacefully on Friday, July 9, 1999 at Lions Gate Hospital. Mary was born in Paisley, Scotland on November 22, 1908. She will always be loved and remembered by all those whose lives she touched. KEELER - Randy William. Born on October 17, 1958. Beloved husband of Pennie, devoted father of Cameron and Tanner, was taken from us suddenly on Friday July 9, 1999.
