Annette Josephine Allgeier, 82, passed away suddenly at her residence in Sprague, MB on Monday morning, April 23, 2012.
She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Reinhold, two sons Craig and Wayne, six grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews as well as one brother Roy.
She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Anna Marvel and two brothers Bob and Roger.
A graveside service will be held Friday, April 27 at 2:30 p.m. at the Sprague Community Cemetery with reception to follow at the Sprague Community Seniors Hall.

EVELYN LAMONTAGNE (Judy) (nee: Brandt)
On April 24, 2012, Evelyn passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital due to complications following surgery.
Evelyn was predeceased by both of her parents, sisters Betty (Pete), Dorothy (Howard), Peggy, and niece 'Lizzy'. She is survived by brother Henry, sister Sharon, sons Ralph (Angel) and Michael, grandsons Emerson and Damon, many nieces and nephews, and also honorary (and possibly favorite) grandson Mouse.
As per her wishes, Evelyn will be cremated following a service held at Wilson Funeral Chapel, 6120 Highway 2A Lacombe, Alberta on Saturday April 28th at 5:00pm. Family viewing will be at 2:00pm. Abram (Abe H.) Doerksen, 83, of Steinbach, MB passed away at his residence on Wednesday, April 25, 2012.
Abe is survived by his loving wife Jessie, three daughters, and their families as well as one sister and one brother and their families.
He was predeceased by four brothers and two sisters.
Viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach on Sunday, April 29 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our life long partner, father, grandfather, brother and uncle on Friday, April 27, 2012 at the Vita Hospital. Norman passed away peacefully with his family by his side the day after his 75th birthday.

It is with saddened hearts we announce the passing of Claire Bonin, aged 86 years, of Rosenort and formerly of Winnipeg and St Joseph, MB.
Claire leaves to cherish her memory her children Maurice (Jocelyn), Marielle (Elmer) Giesbrecht, Monique, Real (Sandi) and Alain; grandchildren Vickie and Cheryl and their spouses; also five great-grandchildren; four sisters and four brothers. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1978 and daughter Huguette in 1974.
The Reception of the body and Prayers were held on Tuesday, May 1 at 1:30 p.m. and the Funeral Celebration followed at 2 p.m. at the Catholic Church in St Joseph, MB with burial at the Parish Cemetery.

ELSIE FAST KLIEWER
After a remarkable life, Elsie Fast Kliewer of Steinbach (formerly of Kleefeld), passed away peacefully on April 29, 2012 at the Rest Haven Care Home. She reached the age of 90 years.
Left to cherish Elsie’s memory are her children, Judy (Fred) Goertzen, Ken (Iris) Kliewer, Joey (John) McMillan, Lori (Loren) Hiebert, six grandchildren, their spouses, and six great –grandchildren. Elsie is also survived by brothers Arnold (Anne), Elvin (Della), Harry (Marion), Dennis (Frieda), sisters Marian (Bert Kliewer), Bernice Bartel, sisters-in-law Frieda Fast, brother –in-law Alvin Neustaedter.
Viewing for Elsie Kliewer took place on Wednesday, May 2 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel. Burial will take place take place on Thursday, May 3rd at the Kleefeld EMC cemetery. Due to family considerations, a memorial service will take place on Wednesday, June 6 at 2:30 p.m. at the Kleefeld EMC Church.

LUCIEN OVIDE JOSEPH COTE
Peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, April 29, 2012, Lucien Cote passed away at Action Marguerite (Foyer Valade) in Winnipeg at the age of 86.
Lucien was born in La Broquerie, Manitoba, on July 6, 1925. On March 17, 1951, Lucien married Lorraine Olason from Piney, Manitoba.
Lucien leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 61 years, Lorraine, and their seven children, Myron (Judy), Rodney (Marilyn), Sherry (Christopher), Barry (Margaret), Blaine (Cheryl), Geraldine, Nicole; grandchildren - Christopher, Kevin, Jaret, Jordan, Kirby, Erich, Courtney, Koree, Patrick, Brett, Sylvie, Cheyenne; step-grandchildren - Mike, Stacey; great-grandchildren - Kade, Kayla, Sadie; step-great-grandchildren - Chase, Nicolas, Amelia, Ryder. He is also survived by six brothers, James, Aime, Denis, Ovide, Robert, Emile and six sisters, Lucy, Leona, Alice, Rita, Doris and Anita.
Cremation has taken place. Prayers will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Friday, May 4, 2012, at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Sacred Heart Church in Vassar, Manitoba, Saturday, May 5, 2012, at 12 noon.

JUDITH KRAHN
I, Judith Krahn, was born to my parents Peter Neufeld and Agatha Wiens on May 15, 1919, at Swift Current, Saskatchewan. At four years of age I moved to Chihuahua, Mexico with my parents. I received my schooling in Burwalde, Swift Current Colony, Mexico.
I was predeceased by my husband, Gerhard Krahn, on September 28, 1979. I was also predeceased by an 8 month old son in 1946, one daughter-in-law in 2003 and one grand-daughter-in-law in 2009.
I am survived by 6 sons, 8 daughters and their families. The sons are: Peter from Winkler, George from Winkler, John from Ignace, Ontario, Henry from Winkler, Herman from Rainy River, Ontario and Jake from Chortitz. The daughters are: Agatha Peters from Schanzenfeld, Katharina Krahn from Grunthal, Anna Hamm from Tolstoi, Edith Penner from Rainy River, Ontario, Margaret Janzen from Rainy River, Ontario, Maria Martens from Grunthal, Aganetha Krahn from Grunthal and Helena Krahn from Grunthal. Descended from these families are 73 grandchildren and 71 great-grandchildren.
Our mother went to her eternal rest on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at approximately 6:20 p.m. She lived a long and full life of 92 years, 11 months and 13 days.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sommerfeld Mennonite Church, New Bothwell, MB with viewing at the church prior to the service. Interment at the Reinland Church Cemetery.

JAKE FALK
In loving memory of a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, Jake Falk of Kleefeld, MB. He passed away at the age of 52 on April 30, 2012 at the Ste. Anne Hospital.
He was born to Frank and Helena Falk of Mexico on April 18, 1960 and married to Aganetha Harder Falk for 32 years. They were blessed with six children (one deceased) and later six grandchildren.
Viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel on Thursday, May 3 at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held Friday, May 4 at 2:00 p.m. at the New Bothwell Sommerfeld Church. Interment at the church cemetery.

Alfred (Bill) Reimer, 71, of Steinbach, formerly of Beamsville, Ontario, passed away Friday, May 4 at his residence.
He is survived by his wife Loreen, two daughters, one son, two sisters, four brothers, and their families.
He was predeceased by his parents Alfred and Margaret of Oakville, Ontario.
The funeral will be Friday, May 11, at 2:00 p.m. at the Steinbach Evangelical Mennonite Church with burial at Memorial Cemetery. The viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel on Thursday, May 10 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. and at the church prior to the service.

Theadore (Ted) Tooley, 65, of Steinbach, passed away Saturday, May 5 at his residence.
He is survived by his wife Betsy, two sisters, one brother, and their families. He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers.
The funeral will be Saturday, May 12 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel with ash interment at a later date. Viewing will be at Birchwood Funeral Chapel on Friday, May 11 at 7:00 p.m. with prayers at 7:30 p.m. and at the chapel prior to the service.

On Tuesday, May 8, Chris passed away peacefully with family by his side. He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy(nee)Hiebert, daughter Pauline(Peter Malanik), sons Ron, Terry and Reg., grandson Jeremy(Nicole)Malanik. Great grandson Nathaniel Malanik.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday May 12 at Klassen Funeral Home, 1150 Henderson Hwy., Winnipeg.

Our father, Dave Friesen, of Steinbach, died peacefully in his sleep at the Bethesda Hospital on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at the age of 85 years.
He is survived by Diana (Elmer) Tokarchuk, Lloyd (Lisa) Friesen, Dale (Medora) Friesen, Debbie (Bruce) Baergen, seven grandchildren, sisters Teenie Funk (Bill deceased), Helen Nickel (Peter deceased), Esther (Abe) Penner, and brother Glen (Marie) Friesen, and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his wife, Marjorie and her family: Irma, Audrey, Ted, Tony, and Tim and their families.
He was predeceased by his first wife Helen (nee Fast), son Donald, his parents Isaac and Helena Friesen, and his siblings Abe and John.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 12 at 2:00 p.m. with viewing prior to the service at the Grace Mennonite Church, 430 Third Street, Steinbach with Interment to follow at Heritage Cemetery.
