Since her retirement in 1992 Sister Georgette served until recently, as pastoral care worker visiting and distributing communion to the sick. As a result, she often presided the prayers at the funeral chapel for the same persons she accompanied in their illness.
Prayers for Sister Georgette will be at Adam's Funeral Home on Monday October 13, at 7:30 p.m. Liturgy of the Eucharist will be celebrated by Father Alphonse Bongo on Tuesday, October 14, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. in the Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery.
