HELEN SARAMAGA (nee HARASYMEC) On Wednesday, December 8, 2004, Helen passed away at the Beausejour Hospital at the age of 85 years. Prayers will be held on Sunday, December 12 at 7:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 13 at 10:00 a.m. at the Ukrainian Orthodox Metropolitan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, 1175 Main St. Interment to follow in Sapton Cemetery. JEFFERY MILES SCHNERCH Peacefully on December 5, 2004, Jeffery passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 35 years. Jeffery is survived by his dad Arnold; brother Robert (Frances); step-sister Angela and family; nephews Nathan, Shawn and Kyle and families; and close friend Leah. He was predeceased by his mother Joyce; brother David; sister Deborah and infant brother Garry. The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers at the Middlechurch Home for their care and compassion. Prayers will be said on Sunday, December 12 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 13 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, 3597 Main St. with Rev. Msgr. Louis J. McCloskey, P.H. as officiant. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeffery's memory to Children's Hospital or the Middlechurch Home. EMILIA WEBER

EMILIA (MILLIE) WEBER Emilia was born in Balzar, Russia on July 27, 1910 and spent her last year at Luther Home until she went home to her Lord on December 6, 2004. She was predeceased by her parents John and Emilia Weber; brothers, Alexander, William, and John; also sisters, Theresa, Marie and Pauline. Emilia will be lovingly remembered by her sister Elsie (Daniel) Bibe; two sisters-in-law, Jeraldine Weber and Roy-Emma Yanczura, with many nieces and nephews throughout Western Canada. Emilia immigrated to Canada in 1911 with her parents and older brother Alexander. She lived in Winnipeg, MB and Morse, SK with her family before working for Judge Pope and wife in Melford, SK and London, ON, then moving back to Winnipeg to work at "Globe Bedding" until she retired in 1970. She has always been active in her church and enjoyed many hours teaching Sunday school in her younger days. Her hobbies included baking, crocheting and knitting. Special thanks to the staff at Luther Home for making her time there comfortable and enjoyable. A Memorial Service and celebration of her life will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, corner of College Avenue and McKenzie Street on Monday, December 13 at 2:00 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined. CHARLOTTE I. WRIGHT Born August 24, 1916 Peacefully Charlotte passed away on December 7, 2004 at the age of 88. In accordance with what Grandma would have wanted, no formal service will be held. A graveside interment with family will occur on Tuesday, December 14 at 3:00 p.m. at the Transcona Cemetery with Transcona Funeral Home and her minister officiating.

PHYLLIS PROCTOR ARCHER (nee HARE) Peacefully, with family at her side, Phyllis passed away Sunday, December 5, 2004 at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by her husband Hubert in 1980, survived by sons, John (Jean) of Tsawwassen, BC, Bill (Linda) of Winnipeg; grandchildren, Anne (Jason), Paul (Elaine), Jason (Alejandra), Hadley (Fiona); and great-grandsons, Benjamin, Daniel and Gabriel. Phyllis was born in England, raised in Binscarth and moved to Russell where she and her husband operated an electrical contracting business for many years. Phyllis was a faithful member of the Anglican Church and active in the Russellers. She was proud to be a wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and to have played a part in the lives of all her family. She shared with everyone her loved of needlework, cooking and gardening. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends in Russell and Winnipeg. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 10 at 2:00 p.m. in Christ Anglican Church, Russell, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. MARGUERITE ARNAL (nee SYLVESTRE) With family by her side at the St. Boniface Hospital, Marguerite beloved wife of the late Andre Arnal, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 6, 2004 at the age of 76 years. She leaves to mourn her three children, Bob (Diane), Denise (Russ Joyce), Raymond (Betty); and her grandchildren, Shaun, Keith, Andrew, James, and Sarah; as well as several nieces and nephews whom she cherished greatly. She will also be missed by her brothers, Rolly, Bob (Joyce), Marcel (Verna); and her sisters, Stella, and Claudette (Al); and sister-in-law Yvette. Marguerite was born in Bellegarde, SK and moved with her family to Fannystelle, MB at the age of 16. There she met and married Andre Arnal and they had three children. In 1967, she went to Nursing School and graduated as an L.P.N.. She worked for five years at St. Anne Clinic, and then moved to the St. Boniface clinic for the next 20 years. She also took time off to volunteer as a missionary nurse in Burkina Faso, Africa. In 1972, she moved to St. Boniface where she spent the last 32 years of her life. Marguerite always enjoyed playing cards and bingo. Marguerite took great pleasure in spending time with her brothers and sisters and their families. She was very close to all of them. "Rest in peace Mom - We love you." In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Room ON1160, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 9 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Cathedral with viewing one half hour prior to the service. LESLEY JEAN BAIN 1962 - 2004 Suddenly, on December 5, 2004, Lesley passed away at her home at the age of 42. Lesley leaves to mourn her passing her husband Bob Ginter; son Thomas Bain; her mother Ferne Bain; six brothers and four sisters and their families. Lesley was predeceased by her father George Bain. Lesley was born in Winnipeg, June 9, 1962. She attended Gordon Bell H.S. She enjoyed shuffleboard, playing cards and numerous sports. Lesley will be sadly missed by all. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. The memorial service will be held on December 10 at 1:00 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Home.
