Aganetha (Nettie) Dyck, of Grunthal, Manitoba, passed away at the St. Pierre Hospital on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at the age of 66 years.
She is survived by her husband Ed, two daughters, one son and their families.
Viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach on Sunday, January 1, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. and at the church prior to the service.
The funeral service will be held Monday, January 2 at 2:00 p.m. at the Grunthal Bergthaler Church with interment at the Grunthal Cemetery.

GUY SANSREGRET
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Guy Sansregret of Ste. Anne, MB on December 24, 2011 at the Health Science Centre at the young age of 42.
Guy was predeceased by his mom Lucille (Vandal) at a young age, and his sister Jessica. Guy leaves to mourn his loving wife Hali and their three children, Kelly (Carly), Tyson and Alexis. Guy is survived by his father Charles (Diane) Sansregret of Richer MB and his brother Eugene (Patty) Sansregret, sister Linda (Darryl) Gauthier of Ste. Anne, MB, his father and mother-in-law Jack and Barb Worms of Ste. Adolphe, his sister in law Tara (Glen) and his niece Samantha, of Winnipeg. Guy is also survived by his step brothers Danny and Gary Bruce and his step sisters Kristin (Adam) Yakielashek and Christie (Brad) Smale and his foster parents Pierre and Simone Couture of Winnipeg as well as many nieces and nephews and a great nephew.
Cremation has taken place and a service will be held January 2, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach. In lieu of flowers a trust fund for the family has been set up at the CIBC Bank in Steinbach.

Alan passed away at his home in Winnipeg, MB on December 23, 2011.
Alan was born in Steinbach, MB on February 8, 1968. He leaves to mourn his loss, his parents, George and Gladys Kalmar, his two sisters, Andrea(Tim) and Angela(Mike), his nephew Brennan and two nieces Cassidy and Madison, Aunts and Uncles, cousins, many friends, co-workers, and anyone who had the privilege of meeting him.
Funeral services for Alan will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Vita Funeral Home located at 256 Railway Avenue in Vita, MB. Lunch to follow service. Interment will be held at the Menisino Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society.

On December 23rd, Jacob R. Esau passed away at Bethesda Hospital at the age of 92. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Annie, who passed away December 13th of this year. Left to cherish his memory are his three daughters, Esther (Donald) Doerksen, [Jerilyn (Ryan) Koslowsky, Gaylene (Shane) Magian, Renae (Allen) Sterk], Hilda (Vernon) Froese, [Ryan (Angela),Tyler (Alishia), Rochelle (Brian) Cowan, Trista (Paul) Wiebe], and Alice (Leonard) Froese, [Simone (Greg) Duerksen, Jacinta (Craig) Lang, Linsey Froese], 21 great-grandchildren, two half-sisters, one half-brother, and many relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach on Thursday, December 29 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m.
The funeral service will be held Friday, December 30 at 2:00 p.m. at the Grunthal Bergthaler Church with interment at the Grunthal Cemetery.

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Martha Penner (nee Wyryha), 65, of Steinbach, MB at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg on Friday, December 23, 2011.
She is survived by three sons and one daughter and their families: Rick (Doreen), Roger (Jennifer), Gregg (Brittany), Tracy (Jerry); five grandchildren: Regan, Kiersten, Dawn, Timothy, and Madison and two step grandchildren Justin and Aimee and three brothers and two sisters.
She was predeceased by her husband Peter, son Clifford at infancy, one brother, one nephew, and both parents and parents-in-law.
The funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 29 at the Evangelical Mennonite Church, 422 Main Street, Steinbach, MB.

He is survived by his wife Katherine, two daughters, four sons and their families.

Helen R. Loewen, age 86, of Steinbach Manitoba, peacefully left her home on earth the evening of December 21, 2011, to live life in full with her Heavenly Father.
She leaves behind her siblings, Henry (Edna) Loewen of Steinbach, Martha (Herb) Penner of Calgary, Annie (Jake) Plett of Calgary, Wes (Lorraine) Loewen of Winnipeg, Dora Reimer of Edmonton, Elaine (Rudy) Reimer of Calgary. She was predeceased by her sister, Elma, in 1947.
A memorial service will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach, on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. An ash interment will be held at a later date.

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Norma Bell, at the Villa Youville Nursing Home in Ste. Anne, MB on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at the age of 80.
She will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by her children Gary (Bev), Lauren (Paul Godin), and Shelley (Gabby Desrosiers); grandchildren Jamie Bell; Kyle (Stacy), Jeff (Janelle), and Kara Godin; Kevin (Ashlie), Chad, and Tyler Desrosiers; and great-grandchildren Maya, Austin, Liam, Aiden and Myra. Mom was predeceased by Dad, Jim (2000), her parents Katharina (1999) and Philip (2002).
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 27, at the Ostenfeld Lutheran Church at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Don Reimer officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

On the morning of December 16, 2011, Peter Heinrichs Hiebert, of Nanaimo, British Columbia quietly left us. ness, he remained truly dedicated.
Peter is survived by his loving wife Yolande, three sons Reg (Debbie), Brian (Julia) and Ron. He was blessed with six granddaughters: Carmen (David), Amanda, Beverley and Crystal, Jenny and Nicky and one great granddaughter, Hannah, and two great grandsons Kaylan and Hayden. As well, he is survived by sisters Ann Dyck (John) and Doris Hildebrand and brothers Andrew Hiebert (Bettie) and Jacob Hiebert (Betty) and their families as well as family members of his deceased siblings. There are so many nieces and nephews that Peter shared a bond with and he always had fond thoughts of them.
A remembrance service will take place on Thursday, December 29th at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach. Following the service interment will take place at the Hiebert Heritage Cemetery in Niverville. Following the interment a luncheon will be held at the Niverville Heritage Centre in the Atrium. Friends and relatives are welcome to attend.
A service for the "British Columbia family" has already been held in Parksville, BC.

On Monday, December 12, 2011 at his residence in Plum Coulee, MB, Jerry Letkeman, aged 69 years passed away suddenly.
He leaves to mourn his passing wife, June (nee Helwer), two sons, Ken (Brenda Smail) and Don and 3 grandchildren, Megan, Justin and Graham; also two brothers, Dave (Mary), Jack (Irene), three sisters, Mary Jane (Walter) Esau, Chris (George) Wiens, Linda (Ron) Buhler, brothers-in-law, Ron (Vera), Ed (Adeline), Irvin Helwer and Ross Olive, sisters-in-law, Vi Hubert, Esther (Clare) McKenty, Marge (Henry) Hanssen and many nieces and nephews. Jerry was predeceased by his parents, Jake and Anne, his parents-in-law, Fred and Elsie Helwer, sister-in-law Eleanor (Ross) Olive, brothers-in-law, Harvey Helwer and Lorance (Vi) Hubert.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday December 17, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Winkler Bergthaler Mennonite Church with interment at the Plum Coulee Cemetery.

Peacefully, at Rest Haven Nursing Home in Steinbach, MB, Martin Dueck, 83, went home to be with his Lord and Saviour, December 10, 2011.
Martin was predeceased by his loving wife Karoline on January 20, 2003. He is survived by his four sons and one daughter and their families: Ken (children Jonathan, Hannah and Rebecca) of the U.K.; Stan and Ruth (children Crystal and Jennifer) of Whitehorse, YT; Art and Joanne (children Nathan, Lisa and Stephanie) of Steinbach MB; Ray and Renee (children Brayden and Codey) of Winnipeg, MB; Marilyn and Danny Mann (children Mikala and Dawson) of Sanford, MB.
Martin will also be dearly missed by three sisters and six brothers. He is predeceased by three brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 16, 2011, at 3:00 p.m. at the Steinbach Evangelical Mennonite Church, 422 Main Street, with viewing at 2:30 p.m., prior to the service.
The family is grateful to the staff and volunteers at both Cedarwood Supportive Housing and Rest Haven Nursing Home of Steinbach for the loving care they provided in his last seven years.

A celebration of her life will be held Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 2:00 p.m., at the Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church, 360 McKenzie Ave, Steinbach. Viewing will be prior to the service. Interment at Memorial Cemetery.
