Mr. Lloyd G. RICHARDSON
November 19, 1916 - March 28, 2008

The death of Mr. Lloyd G. “Midge” Richardson, husband of the late Lois E. (Baird) Richardson, occurred peacefully at Ridgewood Veteran’s Wing on March 28, 2008.

Born in Norton, N.B., he was the son of the late E. Heber “Slim” and Ethel (Sherwood) Richardson.

Lloyd was a stevedore and a member of I.L.A. Local 273, retiring in 1985.

He was a member of RCL #14 and RCL #69.

He spent the last ten years living at Ridgewood Veteran’s Wing.

Mr. Richardson is survived by his son, Doug (Gail) Richardson; his daughter, Dian Richardson; his sister, Millie Butler, all of Saint John West; grandchildren, Justin and Eli; several nieces and nephews; as well as sisters-in-law, Millie Richardson and Doris Richardson.

He was predeceased by brothers, Fred, Albert, and Eddie; sisters, Estell, Gertie, and Edna.

Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home (634-1701), 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John.

The funeral service will be held at “Fallsview Chapel” on Monday, March 31, 2008, at 1 p.m. with visiting on Sunday from 2-4, 7-9 pm.

Interment at OVMG at a later date.

The RCL will hold a Tribute to a Veteran Service on Sunday at 7 pm.

Immediately following the service, a reception will take place at the Fallsview Family Reception Centre.

Marie Sarah Agnes SHEA
September 29, 1920 - March 25, 2008

Marie Sarah Agnes Shea...It is with great sadness that the family of Marie Sarah Agnes (Breen) Shea announce her passing on Tuesday, March 25th, 2008, at Rocmaura Nursing Home, with her loving family by her side.

Marie was born in Penobsquis, N.B., on September 29th, 1920.

She was the daughter of the late Patrick.H. Breen and Estella E. (Fennell) Breen and devoted wife of the late Leonard Michael Shea.

Marie graduated in 1943 from St. Joseph’s School of Nursing and retired from the Department of Veteran Affairs Hospital in 1982.

Marie was a devout Catholic, enjoying and living her faith everyday.

She was a long time member of Our Lady of Assumption Parish.

She enjoyed reading and spending time at home with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Dawn (Don Mercer); Pat (Ivan) Roy; sons, William (Jean Osborne); Paul (Mary); and Danny (Paula), all of Saint John; cherished sister and closest friend, Madalyn Mott, Saint John; grandchildren, Connie Shea, Katie Leavitt, Carrie Shea, Caleb (Calgary), Jacob, Odessa Shea, Michael and Maggie Roy, all of Saint John; one great-grandchild, Bailey Leavitt; also several nieces, nephews, cousins, including special nieces, Sandra Quinlan; Nancy Mott; Kay Buck; and nephew, Brian Mott.

Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Catherine (Casey Burns) Shea; sister, Mary Quinlan; and brother, Louis Breen.

Resting at Castle Funeral Home, “Fallsview Chapel”, 309 Lancaster Ave. (634-1701).

Visitation will take place on Thursday, March 26, 2008, from 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, March 29, 2008, at 10: 00 a.m. from Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church.

Burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Followed by a reception in the Fallsview Family Reception Centre.

In lieu of flowers, donations, in memory of Marie, may be made to:

Mr. David W. Killam
July 20, 1932 - March 13, 2010

David Wendell Killam, 77, of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital, after a lengthy illness, on Saturday, March 13th, 2010.

Born on July 20th, 1932, he was the son of Sarah (Sadie) McCully and the late Barrett A. Killam.

A former Branch Sales Manager with Maritime Beverages Ltd., David enjoyed his retirement gardening and playing the guitar.

David is survived by his wife of 54 years, Goldie (Atkinson) Killam; a sister, Carole (Yvon) Maillet, of Moncton; a son Lee (Heather) of Riverview, and his daughters, Lisa (Jeanette) of Toronto and Lori, of Riverview; as well as 3 step-grandchildren, Theo, Noelle and Josh and 3 step-great-grandchildren, Scott, Marissa and Hope, as well as several nieces and nephews. David was predeceased by his father, Barrett; his step-mother Helen (Steeves) Killam and step-father, Ross McCully.

Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home, with visitation on Tuesday, March 16th, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.

The funeral service will be held at 2 pm in the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 17th, 2010.

Reception to follow in the Garden View Reception Room of the funeral home.

David's family would like to take this opportunity to express their gratitude to Dr. Chesser and the many staff at The Moncton Hospital for their care and kindness throughout the many years.

Donations in David's memory to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.

Mrs. Diana M. Levesque
October 4, 1925 - March 12, 2010

Diana Levesque of Moncton, passed away on Friday, March 12th, 2010 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital after a lengthy illness, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Memramcook, she was the daughter of the late Sévère and Lina (LeBlanc) LeBlanc.

She was a retired employee of the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, attended Notre Dame de Grâce church, and the Club D’Age D’Or of Notre Dame de Grâce.

Diana was married to the late Georges Levesque.

They lived in several cities across Canada and returned to Moncton in 1964.

Before she became ill she loved to bowl, knit, sew, cook, have family gatherings, and spend quality time with her precious granddaughters.

Diana will be sadly missed by her daughters, Murielle Levesque (Bill LeBlanc) of Dieppe, Denise Levesque of Moncton, her granddaughters, Jillian LeBlanc and Marissa LeBlanc, sisters Edmée Dupuis (late Léandre), Ella LeBlanc (Ronald), brother Hervé LeBlanc (late Léona) and several nieces and nephews as well as her beloved dog Meisha.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Georges (1984), her long-time companion Bob Bourque (2003), sisters Corinne Dupuis (late Yvon), Catherine LeBlanc (late Zephyr), brother Gerald LeBlanc (late Irène).

With respect to Diana’s wishes there will be no visitation at the funeral home.

The Funeral Mass will be held at Notre Dame de Grace RC Church, Moncton on Wednesday, March 17th, at 11:00 am.

Reception to follow in the Club D’Age D’Or Notre Dame de Grace.

Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in the spring.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fair Haven Funeral Home (852-3530) 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton.
