Anna Marie Daley

Anna Marie Daley of Moncton, age 65, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, Friday, November 08, 2002 at the Georges Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB. Born July 1, 1937 in Beaverbrook, NB, she was a daughter of the late Dora (McIntrye) Roy and the Late John Ludger Roy.

She is survived by her husband Patrick; daughters Wendy (Gord) Robinson; Tammy (Ron) Daigle, and sons Richard (Carol) Daley, Greg (Claudette) Daley, and Tim (Monique) Daley; grandchildren, Patrick, Ryan, Kara, Brett, Stephen, Natasha, Corey, Julie, Kyle, and Blake; her beloved sister Joyce (Vince) Fitzpatrick of Chatham, NB, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Resting at Ferguson-Knowles Funeral Home 1657 Mountain Rd., Moncton, visitation Monday November 11, 2002, 2-4, 7-9. Funeral Mass at St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church, Tuesday November 12, 2002, 2:00 pm, Rev. Peter McKee officiating. Reception following the service, Interment in Our Lady Of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.

Warren F. Beers

February 26, 2001

Warren F. Beers, 78, of Bulman Dr., Moncton passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Monday February 26,2001. Born in Moncton, Warren was the son of the late Thomas and Augusta (Roberts) Beers.

Warren was a retired Captain with the Moncton Fire Dept. with over thirty five years service. A veteran of the 2nd World War, served overseas with the Carleton York First Division 1943-45, served in Britain and the Central Mediterranean area. Also served with the Canadian Army Militia (1941-43).

Warren will be sadly missed by his wife of over 54 years, Lillian (LeBlanc) Beers, Daughter Linda LeBlanc, Moncton, Sons; Lloyd (Sharon), Kinnear Settlement, Warren Jr. (Viola), Ron (Barb Amos) both of Moncton, nine Grandchildren, five Great Grandchildren, Sisters; Dolly Blakney, Riverview, Dorothy Leet (Norman), Bathurst, Brothers; Carmen (Irene), Calgary, Alberta, James (Ethel), Emmerson, Everett, Winnipeg, Manitoba, several Nieces and Nephews.

Predeceased by one son Ralph (1985), Granddaughter Amy LeBlanc (1991), several Brothers and Sisters.

Resting at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Rd., Moncton (858-1995). Visitation Tuesday 7-9, Moncton Legion Memorial service 7 pm Tuesday evening. Funeral service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday February 28, 2001, 11 am, Rev. Peter Mckee officiating. Reception following the service. Interment in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.

In Warren memory, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society (859-6977) or memorial of choice would be appreciated by his family.

Kenneth E. Cheney

February 12, 2001

Kenneth E. Cheney, 71, of Murray Ave., Fredericton and formerly of Florida, Ontario and Moncton passed away suddenly at the Dr. Everett Chalmer’s Hospital, Fredericton on Monday February 12, 2001. Born in Moncton he was the son of the late Cora B. (Armstrong) and Ralph W. Cheney.

Kenneth was retired from Winn Dixie in Fort Myers, FL. And formerly was a traveler for Atlantic Wholesalers in the North Shore area of New Brunswick.

Kenneth will be sadly missed by former wife Joy of London, ON daughters Dixie Cecile (Robin), London, ON; Linda Jewett, Gloria Gallant (Bob) both of Moncton and son Craig (Jan), Fredericton, 10 Grandchildren, 2 great Grandchildren, Sister Gloria Cheney, Moncton, Brother William (Joyce) Cheney, Glendora, CA, Aunt Alice Armstrong, Moncton, Several nieces, nephews and cousins

Resting at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Rd. (858-1995). No visitation by request. Funeral service from Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday Feb. 15,2001,2:00pm, Rev. Greg Jones Officiating. Reception following service. Interment in Gorge Cemetery at a later date.

Edgar J. Cormier

February 11, 2001

Edgar J. Cormier, 91, of Elmwood Dr., Moncton, passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Sunday February 11,2001. Born in Notre Dame, Edgar was the son of the late Frank and Bibianne (Robichaud) Cormier.

Edgar was retired from the Moncton Post Office, Member of St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Moncton East Liberal Assoc. and was an avid racing fan.

Edgar will be sadly missed by his wife of over fifty years, Rita (Cassidy) Cormier, daughter Shirley Baglole (Al), Moncton, Grandchildren Tracy Baglole, Bermuda, Tammy Baglole LeBlanc (Peter), Irishtown, Great Grandchild Alyson, several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by one brother Clifford, sister Elodie.

He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Resting at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Rd., Moncton (858-1995). Visitation Tuesday 2-4, 7-9. Vigil Prayer service 8:30 pm Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Wednesday February 14,2001, 11am, Rev. Allison Carroll officiating. Reception following the mass. Interment in St. Lawrence O’Toole Roman Catholic Cemetery, Irishtown.

In Edgar’s memory donations to the NB Lung Assoc. (1-800-565-5864) would be appreciated by the family.

Muriel M. Gallagher

February 10, 2001

Muriel M. Gallagher, 86, of Protem Inc. Mountain Road and formerly of Columbus Ave., Moncton passed away at her residence on Saturday February 10,2001.

Born in Rexton, Muriel was the daughter of the late Allan and Mae (Furlotte) Fraser.

Muriel was a retired sShool Teacher having taught at Queen Elizabeth and Mountain Road Schools, attended St Michael’s Romans Catholic Church, member of St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church C.W.L. Graduate of Fredericton Normal School and a member of the Retired Teachers Assoc.

Muriel will be sadly missed by her daughters; Sheila Day, Linnfield, Mass, Gailya Bourque (Paul)), Carole Dixon (Boyd), Grand Digue, Son Michael (Janet), Rexton, Grandchildren; Robb, Alan, Bill, Jason, Angela, Jeremy, Andrew, Matthew, Jordon, Melissa, Megan, Shawnessey, Great Grandchildren; Hunter, Trevor, Will, Sisters; Elva Dion, St. Jean PQ, Alfreda Hemeon, Richibucto, Brother Lorne Fraser, Kingston, NS, several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her husband William Gallagher, Brother Hugh.

Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Tuesday February 13,2001, 11 am, Rev. Allison Carroll officiating. Reception following the Mass. Interment in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.

Andrew B. Gallant

February 10, 2001

Andrew B. Gallant, 13, of Lancaster Road, Moncton, passed away at his residence on Saturday February 10,2001. Born in Moncton, Andrew was the son of Pauline (Dixon) and the late Hubert Gallant.

Andrew was a grade eight student at Beaverbrook School, enjoyed music and being with his friends.

Besides his mother Andrew will be sadly missed by his Maternal Grandparents Philip and Lizzie Dixon, Paternal Grandmother Ernestine Gallant, his best friend Joey, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Besides his father Andrew was predeceased by his brother Lukus, and Paternal Grandfather Edgar Gallant.

Resting at St. Augustines Roman Catholic Church, visitation Tuesday 2-4,7-9. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Augustines Roman Catholic Church Wednesday February 14,2001, 3pm, Rev. Allison Carroll officiating. Interment in Our Lady Of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
