Phyllis Ann Gray
GRAY, PHYLLIS ANN - Died on October 15, 2003 at the Ottawa General Hospital after a lengthy courageous battle with cancer. She is the daughter of the late Kathleen and Andrew Gray.
She is survived by Ed Holton, Daughter Christine Calvin and Grandson Sam Calvin, Sisters Pam, Cathy, Mary, Dianne, Brothers Wayne, Francis, Edward, Paul and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Gary and Billie.
A Memorial Mass at St. Peter's Church will take place on Saturday, October 18th. At 10:30 AM. Family and Friends are welcome to attend.
Robinson Allen Bradley
The death of Mr. Robinson Allen Bradley, (Bob) (Robbie), loving husband of Joan (Nice) of Musquash, NB, occurred on Saturday October 11, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born August 28, 1933 in Saint John, he was the son of the late Charles and Anna (Robinson) Bradley.
Robinson had worked for NB Power for 37 ½ years, retiring as a District Manger. He was a member of Woodstock Masonic Lodge # 8, The Shrine Luxor Temple and NB Power 25 year Club.
Besides his wife Joan, he is survived by his sons Scott Bradley (Kimberley) of St. George and Stephen Bradley (Donna) of Musquash; brothers Douglas Bradley (Leona) of Quispamsis and Bruce Bradley (Debbie) of Montreal, PQ; sister Anne Porter (Robert) of Saint John, Indiana; four grandchildren Shawn, Aaron, Victoria and Joshua; step mother Mildred (McKay) Bradley; several aunts; cousins; nieces and nephews.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitation on Monday October 13, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday October 14, 2003 from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday October 14, 2003 at 2 p.m. Following cremation, the interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery on Wednesday October 15, 2003 at 10 a.m. The family would appreciate donations made to the Shriners Hospital or to the charity of the donor's choice.
Bertha Hartsgrove
The death of Bertha Hartsgrove, occurred on Monday February 16th, 2004. at the Loch Lomond Villa. Born March 25th, 1909, in Victoria County NB, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Blanch (Sprague).
In her earlier years Bertha was employed with McCain’s and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Perth Andover, NB.
She is survived by her son, Larry of Liverpool NS. Daughters, Margaret (Leroy) Martin of Quispamsis and Sharon of Miss. Ont. One sister Myrtle Sullivan of Plaster Rock and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Bertha was predeceased by her husband, George.
By the request of the family, there will be a memorial service at a later date. Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, (646-2424) is in charge of the arrangements.
Annie (Anne) Lorna Nickerson
The death of Annie (Anne) Lorna Nickerson, of West Saint John, occurred on Friday February 13th, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born August 31, 1941, in East Pubnico, NS, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Gladys (Blades) Nickerson.
Anne worked for the Province of Nova Scotia for 29 years, until her retirement in 1994. She was a member of Main Street Baptist Church. Special volunteer pursuits were Meals on Wheels and the Volunteer Centre.
She is survived by her sister Linda Nickerson of Saint John; uncles Ralph Blades of Mississippi Station, Ontario and Floyd Blades (Ruth) of Victoria Harbour Ontario; aunts Bessie Wickett of St. Stephen, NB, Olive Davis of Digby, NS and Arlene Featherstone of St. Stephen, NB, and several cousins.

Roland Norman Joseph Bolduc
The death of Mr. Roland Norman Joseph Bolduc, loving husband of Deborah England, occurred on Saturday January 31, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born September 22, 1944 in Sherbrooke, PQ, he was the son of Josephine (Clarke) Bolduc and the late Rolie Victor Bolduc.
Roland and his family moved to Saint John from St. Bruno PQ in 1960, he had worked for M&D Transport, Speedway, Vets Taxi, Military Police and the Saint John Transit Commission as a Bus Driver for the last 26 plus years. He will be sadly missed by his many friends and family.
Besides his wife Deborah and mother Josephine, he is survived by his sons Daniel Bolduc (Heidi) of Saint John and John Bolduc of Moncton; step son Thomas England of Halifax; sister Tanya Duplisea (Stan) of River Glade, NB; two grandchildren Tessa and Brooke; one uncle Leonard Clarke (Melba); several cousins; and one nephew Mark Duplisea (Heidi) of Boundy Creek, NB. He was predeceased by his father Rolie Victor Bolduc.

Sadie Irene Wisted
The death of Mrs. Sadie Irene Wisted of the Loch Lomond Villa Nursing Home, wife of the late Leo Joseph Wisted, occurred on Tuesday January 27, 2004 at her residence. Born October 6, 1915 in Springhill, NB she was the daughter of the late Henry and Florence (Campbell) McMackin.
Sadie had owned and operated Glenview Grocery from 1962-1980, she also worked at Fairport Motel and K-Mart. She was a former resident of St. Patrick's Street in Old East End.
She is survived by her son Leo Wisted (Lorrie) of Saint John; daughter-in-law Marion Wisted of Quispamsis; brother Harold McMackin of Windsor, Ontario; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by son Robert Henry Wisted; daughter Marjorie Irene Duplessie; and sister Annie McGrath.

Emile Joseph Richard
Richard, Emile Joseph – Passed away January 25th, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in St. Charles, NB on October 16th, 1931.He was the son of the late Thomas and Melina (Babin) Richard.
Emile is survived by his wife Marguerite Marie Richard. One son; Paul Richard and Bonnie Boudreau of Saint John, three daughters; Patsy Anne (Gary) Conway of Quispamsis, NB, Francine Marie (Pat) Montague of Ajax, Ont. and Rose-Marie Richard of Hampton, NB.four brothers; Delbert Richard of Saint John, Conrad Richard of Calgary, Alb. Joseph Richard of North Bay Ont. and Gerry Richard, of Toronto, Ont.; eight sisters, Evelyn Kelly (Jerry) of Belleville, Ont. Doris Boudreau of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., Delma Richard of Toronto, Ont. Viola (Hector) Cousin of Montreal, Que., Germain (Don) Kelly of Belleville Ont. Rosealla (Edgar) Melanson of Moncton NB, Bernice (Billy) Brideau of Saint John, Annette (Buzz) Garfield of Saint John, a grandson Billy Conway, one Aunt, Leona Richard and several cousins, nieces, nephews. Emile was predeceased by a brother, Dolphe Richard.
Emile was employed for twenty years at the Irving Pulp and Paper Mill.

Benjamin Joseph Woods
Woods, Benjamin Joseph – Passed away Sunday January 25th, 2004 at the Oromocto Hospital. Born in Montreal Que. on November 21st, 1918. He was the son of the late Henry and Lucy (Amos) Splude.
Benjamin is survived by one son, Lloyd (Barbara) Woods of Welsford, two daughters; Delores (Blair) D’Entremont of Lower west Pubnico, NS, Linda (James) Benjamin of Martinon, NB one brother, Phil Woods of Saint John, eleven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren. Benjamin was predeceased by his wife, Mary Emma (White), daughter, Lorraine Thibodeau, brother, Leonard Woods and sister, Emma White.
Benjamin was employed for forty-two years at the Saint John Shipbuilding and was a boxer who was inducted into the Canadian and New Brunswick Hall of Fame.

Eugene Windsor MacKenzie
Mackenzie, Eugene W. – Passed away at his residence on January 24th, 2004. Born in Southfield, NB on April 26th, 1937.He was the son of the late Corey W and Elizabeth (Carson) Mackenzie.
Eugene is survived by his beloved wife Enid (Holden) one son; Robert Bruce (Wendy) Mackenzie of Edmonton AB, two stepsons; Wayne Arnold of Nova Scotia, James Nicholas Chamberlain of Saint John, three daughters; Sandra Lea (Brad) Everman of Loveland, Ohio, Tanya Lynn McKay of Winnipeg MB and Beverly Anne (Wade) Wilson of Saint John, and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Eugene received his formal education at the Belleisle Regional High School, then moving to Toronto he attended and Graduated from the Radio College of Canada. In Radio & TV Technology, he worked a number of years in Toronto, Ottawa and Halifax in the Electronics Industry before returning to Saint John where he was an independent Contractor until his retirement in 1990 due to health reasons.

Joseph Ernest Snow
The death of Joseph Ernest Snow of 130 Dresden Avenue, Saint John occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, January 20, 2004. Born in Ecum Secum, Nova Scotia in 1926, he was the son of the late Joseph Snow and Catherine (Fleet) Snow.
He is survived by his beloved wife Marjorie (Butland) Snow. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons Joel Snow (Ceci) of Calgary Alberta and Richard Snow of Saint John; two daughters Gail Snow (Doug) of Saint John and Sandra Ritchie (Daryl) of Rothesay; three stepsons, Gerald Martin (Linda) of Ajax, Ontario, Robert Martin (Patricia) of Hampton and William Martin (Lynn) of Calgary, Alberta; three stepdaughters Cecelia Flanagan (Joel) of Calgary, Alberta, Dawn Cochrane of Hampton and Brenda McGrath (Mark) of St. Martin's; one sister Hazel Cameron (Roddie) of Halifax, Nova Scotia; 36 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife Eleanor June Clark; infant son David; three brothers Douglas, James and Cyril; three sisters Myrtle, Gladys and Grace; and a granddaughter Mandi.
Joseph Snow spent 25 years in the military, part of those years were spent in the Black Watch, Royal Canadian Regiment and 6th Division, Infantry. He also worked in security at Lepreau from 1976-1983 and the Corps of Commissionaires from 1983-1997.
