MISHTOLL, FLORENCE With family by her side, on November 6, 2006 at Craigwiel Gardens Nursing Home in Ailsa Craig, Florence Mishtoll (formerly Turnbull) passed away in her 77th year. Predeceased by her 1st husband, William Turnbull, and her 2nd husband, Mel Mishtoll. Dear mother of Bill (Darlene) Turnbull, Bob (Louise) Turnbull, Sharon Sharrard (Phil Hall) and Robin Turnbull. Dear Grammie of Kim Clark, Michelle Knauft, Jeff Turnbull, Kasey Turnbull, Heather Kaufman, Jackie, Warren and Graham. CLINTON B. HULL Clinton B. Hull 69, of Moncton passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 8, 2006. Born in Millville, he was the son of the late Hazen and Jean (Allen) Hull. Clinton was a retired Accountant, member of Moncton Legion # 6 and enjoyed hunting and fishing, but was an avid flytier. Clinton will be sadly missed by his daughter, Peggy Sartain (Michael), Pierre Fonds, PQ: Son, Robert (Kathy), Shelburne, ON; grandchildren, Jeff, Andrew, Matt, Katie, Bryce and Ryan; great granddaughter, Annabelle; sisters, Sheila, Vivian, Myrtle; brothers, Mark, Ken; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife, Marilyn (July 2003); sister, Catherine; brother, Gordon. No visitation by request. BRUCE, MARGARET (MARGIE) ELVA -Mrs. Margaret Bruce of Nasonworth, NB, passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB on Friday, November 9th, 2006 at the age of 62. Born in Penobsquis, NB, on July 27th, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Willard and Mildred (Burns) Mitton. Margaret is survived by her husband, Charles (Charlie) of Nasonworth; her daughters, Lori and Tammi of Fredericton; three brothers, Earl and his wife Alice, Walter of Sussex Corner, Bobby and his wife Paulette of Ratters Corner; four sisters, Verda and her husband Harry Fanjoy of Dutch Valley, Eileen Cole of Sussex, Jackie and her husband Bob Armstrong of Sussex Corner, Betty and her husband Raleigh Myers of Mount Hebron, as well as several nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her brothers, Vernon, Murray, Cecil and Doug. Margaret recently retired from Sears in Fredericton, where she worked for a number of years. She loved spending time with her family and especially loved her time at Mechanic Lake. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton North on Saturday, November 11th, 2006 from 7 to 9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held from the New Maryland United Church on Sunday, November 12th, 2006 at 2 pm with Rev. Bill McLeod officiating. Interment will follow in the Adjoining Church Cemetery. ABRAHAMSEN, THELMA OLIVE (THOMPSON) - Thelma Olive (Thompson) Abrahamsen, 86, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg. Born in First Peninsula, Lunenburg Co., Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Teaman and Harriet (Joudrey) Thompson. Before retirement, her family owned and operated Atlantic View Motel and Cottages in Lunenburg for many years. She also worked as a preschool teacher. Thelma loved music and she enjoyed singing as well as playing the piano. Thelma is survived by her two sons, Roald (Susan) Abrahamsen of Toronto, and Rolf (Debra) Abrahamsen of Saint John; three grandchildren, Scott Abrahamsen of California, Jocelyn (Josh) Wells and April (Keith) Sherwood both of Saint John; five sisters, Viola Parsons of Cape Breton, Gwen Jones and Ruth Lahey of Saint John, Edith Morgetroyd of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. and Mildred Smith of Bellingham, Washington; one brother, Fred of Saint John, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband George Abrahamsen, brothers Palmer and Stuart and one sister Marion Graham. A memorial service will be held at Bains Corner United Church on Monday November 13th at 11:00am, with interment at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. PELLETIER, JOANNA MARITTA - The death of Joanna Pelletier of Plaster Rock occurred on November 10, 2006 at the Tobique Valley Hospital at the age of 69. Born in Tilley, she was the daughter of the late Armand and Mary Cyr. She is survived by her husband, O'Neil Pelletier; two sons, Armand (Marcelle) Pelletier of Plaster Rock and Norman Pelletier of Vernon, B.C; one daughter, Julie (Kevin) Margison of Perth-Andover; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren; five brothers, Ivan, Sunny, Andrew, Michael and Edward; two sisters, Millie and Lise. Predeceased by her parents and ten brothers and sisters. Resting at White's Chapel, Plaster Rock with visiting hours on Sunday, November 12th, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 13th, 2006 at 10 am from St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Tilley with Father Pierre Thibodeau officiating. Interment in the Parish Cemetery. MOFFATT, RONALD WILLIAM - Ronald William Moffatt of Woodstock, husband of the late Lorraine Mary (Cormier) Moffatt, passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 08, 2006, at the age of 83. Born at Fredericton, he was the son of the late William and Clara (Ryan) Moffatt. Ron was a former mayor of the Town of Woodstock, a past president of the New Brunswick Municipalities Association, and a past president of the Woodstock Rotary Club. He is survived by three daughters, Sharron Moffatt of Perth-Andover, Clara Moffatt of Woodstock, and Linda Moffatt of Perth-Andover; two sons, Gary Moffatt (Helene) of Fredericton and David Moffatt of Woodstock; eight grandchildren, Karen, Michael, Shawn, Eric, Danielle, Lauren, Christine, and David; a brother, Darrell Moffatt (Maureen) of Ottawa; two sisters, Betty Harris of Lindsay and Carol Rodgers (Robert) of Cambridge, Ontario; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and his parents, Ron was predeceased by his sister, Joyce Pickel, and daughter-in-law Alberte Rossignol. Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 am from St. Luke's Anglican Church. WALKER, ROBERTA ANN 'BOBBIE' - The death of Bobbie Walker of Candlewood Lane, Saint John, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on November 10th, 2006. She was born in Saint John on September 6, 1939 to the late Robert and Laura (Livingston) Winchester. She graduated from the Saint John General Hospital School of Nursing in 1960 and practiced in various hospitals across the country before finding her niche in geriatrics. Bobbie nursed at the Church of St. John and St. Stephen Nursing Home for 23 years until her retirement in 2001. She is survived by her four children: her daughter, Christie (Michael) McDonald and three sons, Tom, Mark and James, all of Saint John; one sister, Sandra Winchester; one brother, Brian (Brenda) also of Saint John; four grandchildren, Hailie Carr, Danielle Walker and Mallory and Connor McDonald, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and a large extended family. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visitation on Saturday November 11th, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A memorial service will be held on Sunday November 12th, 2006 at 2 pm from Brenan's Chapel. A celebration of Bobbie's life will follow at the home of Brian and Brenda Winchester, 211 Queen Street. TAYLOR – Avis Merlene (78) passed away at the Grand Manan Hospital Thursday November 9th, 2006. Born in Grand Harbour she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mareitta (Wilcox) Wilson. Avis was a member of the Grand Harbour United Baptist Church, worked at the Connors Brothers Sardine Factory, and later at the Surf Side Motel. Most of all she was a loving and caring Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Neighbor, Friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (William) Daggett of Castalia, NB; her son, Dwight (Charmaine) Taylor of North Head, NB; three grand children, Anzonette (Blaine) Brown, Castalia, NB, Dean Taylor, Saint John, NB, Dylan (Marley) Taylor, North Head, NB; two great grand children, Mitchell and Jaden Brown; many nieces and nephews and one sister-in-law, Alice Green. She was predeceased by her husband, Leighton in 2002; and also her four sisters, Zelia, Margaret, Muriel, Mavis; her five brothers, James, Victor, Eldred, Ross, and Malcolm. Visiting hours will be held at Ells Funeral Home Saturday, November 11th, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from the North Head United Baptist Church Sunday, November 12th, 2006 with Rev. Gordon Walker officiating.
