There was a column in many Newfoundland newspapers called "Searching For Family" that was managed by Judy Ash.

Much Canadian family information can be gleaned from the submissions to this column.

Inevitably, many of the subjects of these entries have not ever been located, so our hopes are that repeating

these extracts will help that effort.
