GAMBIN, Florence (nee Lake) - Passed peacefully away at Placentia Health Care Centre, December 17, 2002, after a courageous battle with cancer, in the presence of her devoted family. Florence Gambin, age 84 years, Jerseyside, Placentia, formerly of Clattice Harbour, South West, Placentia Bay. Predeceased by her loving husband Cornelius (1987), step-daughter Mary Gambin-Greene (1971). Left to mourn with fond and loving memories, sons: Dan (Cecilia), Leo (Julia), Cornelius (Madeline), John (Anita); daughters: Matilda (Frank Traverse), Imelda (Bill Bailey), Winnie (Ed Barry), all residing in Placentia, Veronica (Ron Grover), Burke, V.A., also lovingly remembered by 34 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren and their families.
