Johnson, Lloyd
New Democrat MLA, Shellbrook - Spiritwood

Lloyd Johnson studied Arts and Education at the University of Saskatchewan. He owns a farm near Belbutte and has been a farmer all his life. He has served as a member of the Spiritwood Credit Union Board for 23 years and is a member of the National Farmers' Union. He was a member of the Spiritwood Wheat Pool Committee and a member-at-large of the Saskatchewan Committee on Rural Area Development. He has also participated in the Saskatchewan Advanced Community Leadership Institute.

Lloyd Johnson served as MLA for Turtleford from 1975 to 1982. He was returned to the Legislature in 1991. In June, 1995, he was re-elected as the MLA for Shellbrook-Spiritwood. He serves on the Government Caucus Agriculture, Transportation and Rural Affairs Committee. He is also a member of the Legislative Assembly Standing Committee for Crown Corporations.
