KAZARIS, Katina - With deep sadness the family announces the passing of Katina Kazaris on Sunday, July 19, 2009. Katina passed away peacefully at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital. Katina was born in Sklithron, Florina Greece on September 23, 1924. Katina was predeceased by her parents, Methodios and Olga Kalaitzis (nee Chrisikopoulou); loving husband, Charalambos; and brother, Apostolis Kalaitzis. Katina is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Paraskevoula and Demetrios Petridis. She is fondly remembered by Aunt Marika, Aunt Athena; cousins; nieces; nephews and friends. The family will receive friends at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home , 621 King St. W., Kitchener on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 (today) from 2-9 p.m. Trisagion will be held on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 527 Bridgeport Rd. East, Kitchener, Ontario. The Very Rev. Father Konstantinos Chatzis officiating. Interment Parkview cemetery , Waterloo. Prior to her death, Katina wanted to extend special thanks and grateful appreciation to her cousins, Pantelis Lialios, Anneta Goumas, Comcare, Community Support Connections, Waterloo Wellington CCAC and Dr. Nguyen for their constant care and kindness. NEUFELD, Joyce (nee Little) - The family and friends of Joyce Neufeld want you to know that she died on Sunday, July 19, 2009. According to Joyce's wishes, there will be no visitation or service. She has been cremated and will be buried privately at a future time by her daughters, Johanna Neufeld and Brigitta Southorn; son-in-law, Michael; and granddaughter, Isabel. Joyce thanks all of you who have had a special place in her short life. Time is short - you may have only today to reach out to someone. Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

BOLZON, Angelo - Suddenly as a result of a motorcycle accident on Sunday, July 19, 2009. Angelo Bolzon, at the age of 76, beloved husband of Ines (Sanvido) Bolzon of Guelph. Loving father of Rick and his wife Janice of Waterloo, Larry and his wife Trish of Guelph, Sandra and her husband Peter Appelman of Kitchener, and Lisa and her husband John Tersigni of Guelph. Much loved Nonno of Greg, Colin, Erica, Danielle, Andrea, Angelica, Matthew, Nicolas, and Adam. Brother of Eugenio (Lena) Bolzon, Vince (Maureen) Bolzon, all of Guelph, Elide (the late Egidio) Marchesan of Calgary, Serafina (Bernardino) Baccega, Silvano (Duska) Bolzon, Sister Silvana Bolzon, Udilia (Giuseppe) Soligo, Angela (Adriano) Osto, all of Italy, and the late Giovanni (Lena) Bolzon. Brother-in-law of Fred (Marg) Sanvido, Chip (Carol) Sanvido, Ida (the late Frank) Longo, and the late Bruno (Joyce) Sanvido. NOBLE, Cyril Bruce - passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2009 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital in his 81st year. Cyril Noble, beloved husband of Marie; dear father of Larry (Marion) of Guelph, and Dianne (Joseph) Nepp of Ridgeway. Cyril will be missed by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and his brother, Oren Noble of Barrie. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will welcome friends and relations at the Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge on Wednesday, July 22, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 2 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Visitation Church, 16 Cooper Street, Cambridge on Thursday morning at 11 a.m. with interment following at New Hope cemetery. SHANTZ, Robert Nelson - Peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Friday, July 17, 2009, at the age of 82. Loving and devoted husband of Sandra Shantz (nee Boyce). Cherished father of Tom (Sue) Shantz, Terry (Adam) Lippold, Kelley (John) Scime and Randy Murphy (Miran Turner). Special Grandfather of Brittany and Jessica Shantz, Tyler, Alyssa and Mason Lippold and Patrick and Ryan Chown. Forever remembered by his sister, Doris Young (Bob); his cousin, Rita Kimmel and his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings, Floyd, Howard, Nelda, and Arlene. Robert was an employee with Imperial Tobacco (Guelph) for 36 years and was a volunteer with the Golden Opportunities Program in Cambridge for 15 years. WAKELIM, Elliott "Wakey" - Suddenly at his home in Normanby Township, on Wednesday, July 15, 2009. Elliott "Wakey" Wakelim in his 68th year. Loved father of Jim Wakelim of Alberta and Lori Ironside of Arthur. Loving grandfather to James and Jeremy. Dear brother of Elizabeth "Beth" Breau and husband David of Toronto, Jean Gransden of Owen Sound, Fred Wakelim and wife Joan of Mount Forest, Winona Hall and husband Brydon of Mount Forest and Marjorie Newman of Harriston. Survived also by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, Edgar and Phoebe Wakelim; brother-in-law, Carl Newman and nephew, Bradley Newman. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Hendrick Funeral Home , on Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at 11 a.m. Memorial donations to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.

Ruby L. Draves 1919 - 2009 passed away peacefully, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, on Sunday, July 19, 2009, at the age of 90 years. Ruby will be sadly missed by her two sons, Bryon of Waterloo and Wayne of New Hamburg; her three grandchildren, Rick (Jody), Tim and Christine (Kevin Wilson); and her great-grandchildren, Daniel, Gregory, Geoffery, Camryn, Caitlin and Julia. She is also survived by her sister, Lorraine Soehner and her brother, Clinton Bauer. Ruby was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Ida Bauer; her beloved husband, Harry John Draves; brothers, Henry, Vernon, Garfield and Clifford and Norman; sisters, Pearl, Dorothy and Henrietta; and her daughter-in-law, Jean Draves (nee Reinhart). Ruby will be remembered as an avid gardener and was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, St. Jacobs. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Day and the nurses of the 7th floor of St. Mary's Hospital for their care and compassion shown to Ruby. The funeral service will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 (tomorrow) at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Parkview cemetery followed by a reception in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. ALVIANO, Nick - Peacefully, at home, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, July 19, 2009, at the age of 73. Predeceased by his parents, Michael and Carmela (Finamore). Dear brother of Ray (Lucille), Anthony, Stella (Barry Johnson) and the late Archangelo. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews, Rick, Joe, Geoff, and Michael Alviano, and Amy and Simon Johnson, and six great-nieces and nephews. Nick was co-owner of Winning Attitude (Stone Road), Guelph, and employee with Union Gas for many years. The family will receive friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel , 1099 Gordon St., Guelph on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7 -9 p.m. A Vigil will be held on Tuesday at 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass for Nick will be held at Sacred Heart Church on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 10 a.m. Interment at Marymount cemetery , Guelph. KUEPFER, Irene - passed away on Friday, July 17, 2009, at the London Health Sciences Center, Victoria Campus, as a result of an accident. Irene was born 19 years ago on January 12, 1990, in Stratford and resided at RR1, Millbank, with her parents. Beloved daughter of the Lorne W. and Ruth (Jantzi) Kuepfer. Dear sister of Rosanna and Perry Jantzi, Martha and Emmanuel Schmidt, Lloyd and Bertha Kuepfer, Daniel and Lavina Kuepfer all of Chesley, Harvey and Elizabeth Kuepfer of Millbank, Norma Kuepfer, Aaron Kuepfer and friend Rose Marie Kuepfer and Ezra Kuepfer, all at home. Sadly missed by 19 nieces and nephews; her grandmothers, Lydia Kuepfer of Chesley and Katie Jantzi of Milverton. Irene was predeceased by her grandfathers, David Kuepfer, Harvey Jantzi; uncle, Ezra Jantzi and aunt, Mary Kuepfer. Irene was a member of the Old Order Amish Faith. Family and friends may call at the home of Lorne and Ruth Kuepfer, 2990 Chalmers Forrest Road, RR 1, Millbank, today (Monday) and again Tuesday, July 21, 2009, when the funeral will take place at 1 p.m. with Bishop Jonas Kuepfer officiating. Interment will follow in the 7th Line Amish cemetery , Wellesley Township. Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , Milverton assisted the arrangements.

GALIVAN, Donald "Don" - passed away peacefully, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Saturday, July 18, 2009, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Yula (nee Heslop) for 60 years. Loving father of Alf and his wife Pat of Port Elgin, Dona Bunting of Waterloo, Bob and his wife Mia of Wellesley and Lora Lukasik and her husband Bob of Kitchener. Cherished grandpa of Bonnie Surette (Bil), Lisa Mawhinney (Brad), Ian Gruber (Lesley Rioux), Cory Gruber (Cojanna Bond), Terra Galivan (Andrew Gateman), Alex Galivan, Casey St-Onge (Marc), Kelli Lukasik and Reid Lukasik. Adored great-grandpa of Madeleine, Autumn, Rachel, Nathan and Drake. Also survived by his sister-in-law, Buelah Galivan and his many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents, James and Louella; son-in-law, Tom Bunting, and siblings, Murray (Irene), Lois Robinson (Bill) and Gary. KAUFMAN, Jean Elizabeth (Bindernagel) 1932 - 1999 Mothers need the gifts from all her family, the strength from the Lord, the hum of the hummingbird, the joy of the sunshine, the laughter of the rain, the sweetness of the rose and the dreams of her children. Our mother's dreams were fulfilled ten years ago at a young 66 years. Mark, Tim, Diane, Stephen and Kenneth Kaufman and family. God is Love.

HELEN ANNA KAUFMAN (nee Szczur/Donau) 1914 - 2009 Helen went home to be with her Lord Jesus at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Tuesday, July 14, 2009, at the age of 95 years. Helen was predeceased by her husband, Ralph and daughter, JoAnne Flatley. She is the loving mother of Bryan and his wife Karen of New Dundee, Brenda and her husband John Baldwin of Waterloo, and Randy of Goderich, Ont. She is survived by a sister, Molly Ferguson of Toronto and loved by many nieces and nephews; grandson, Andrew Baldwin of Waterloo; step-granddaughters, Kim Walker of Cambridge, Julia (Peter) Wadsworth of Lakefield, and step-grandson, Greg Fisher of Waterloo; and great grandchildren, Kaylan, Ryan, Haley, Melissa, and Jessica. Helen was also predeceased by sisters, Ida Heubach and Faye Dubrick; brothers, Harry, Ed and Eric Donau and parents, Marie and John Donau. Helen was a faithful member of Emmanuel United Church in Waterloo for over 70 years where she was a member of the UCW and the weekly social gathering of the Toothpix. She enjoyed cooking hot noon hour meals for the children and staff at Emmanuel Daycare in the 1970's for eight years. Cremation has taken place at her request. A memorial service will be held at Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, July 24, 2009, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Bruce Sweet and Marilyn Hollinger of Emmanuel United Church officiating and will be followed by a luncheon and then interment at Parkview cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to share their memories of Helen with her family during the hour visitation prior to the service. CUNNINGHAM, Olive - Of Listowel, and formerly of Ethel and Harriston, went to be with her Lord, on Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at Listowel Memorial Hospital. Survived by Bob Cunningham, her loving husband of 55 years. She will be remembered by nine nieces, eight nephews, eight great-nieces, and three great-nephews. Sister-in-law of Estelle Fritz, Anna Cunningham, and Ken MacDonald. Predeceased by her parents, Jim and Mildred (Dennison) Turner; sister, Pearl Martyn and her husband Norm; and by her brother, Howard Turner and his wife Millie. Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home , Listowel on Sunday from 1-5 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Monday, July 20 at 2 p.m. Interment in Mount Pleasant cemetery , Ethel. Memorial donations to Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation, or to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated.

HINSPERGER, Thomas (Tom) Gerald - Peacefully after a lengthy illness, at the Cawthra Gardens, Mississauga, on Wednesday, July 15, 2009, in his 65th year. Tom Hinsperger of Mississauga (formerly of Kitchener), beloved husband of Sheila (nee Cybulski). Cherished father of Shannon (Michael) Milosz of Brampton and Trevor of Mississauga. Special Grampi of Matthew. Son of the late Catherine and Gerald Hinsperger. WRIGHT, Esther - passed away at North Bay General Hospital, Scollard Site, Wednesday, July 15, 2009. Esther Wright (nee Speigleburg) beloved wife of the late, Wally Wright in her 89th year. Dearly loved mother of Jim Wright and remembered by Lynne (daughter-in-law) of Astorville. Lovingly remembered by two grandchildren, Kirstin Wright, Scott Wright (Amy); and one great-grandchild, Lochlyn Wright. Survived by sisters and brothers, Doris, Honey, Irwin, Tom and Shirley all of Kitchener. Predeceased by a son, Gary and her parents, Clotilda and Gus Speigleburg. No visitation. Cremation.
