Marie Bennington, of Hanover, passed away at Grey-Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Thursday, April 10, 2003. She was 83.
Born in Hanover, daughter of the late Joseph and Clementine (Henheffer) Gross.
Marie was employed with Norm's Family restaurant for many years until retiring and a member of the Catholic Women's League.
Survived by daughter Linda and her husband Stewart Shular of Southampton, son James "Jim" Bennington of Walkerton, daughter-in-law Marlene Bennington of Walkerton, grandchildren Lincoln Miller, Robbie Bennington, Jennifer and husband Jamie Whelan and Jason Shular, greatgranddaughter Micheala. Also survived by a brother Earl Gross of R.R. 3 Hanover, a sister Edna and husband Len Zettler of Cargill.
Predeceased by husband William "Bill" Bennington, son Robert, daughter Virginia and husband Beverly Miller.
Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Saturday 7-9 p.m., and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.with Vigil Rites on Sunday at 8:30 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 14, 2003 at 10:30 am, at Holy Family Church, Hanover.

Maria Kovacs
Maria Kovacs, of Durham, passed away at St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener on Friday, September 03, 2010. She was 69.
Born in Szombathely, Hungary, daughter of Katalin (Lorincz) Kozma of Germany and the late Imre Kozma.
Maria worked as a seamstress at Dickies until retiring.
Survived by children Thomas Kovacs (Heather Egan) of Bolton, Ann Kovacs (Dave Merzbacher) of Barrie and Les Kovacs of Montreal, grandson Corey Wettlaufer.
Also survived by mother Katalin (Lorincz) Kozma of Germany, sister Evi Cerny and brother Andreas Kozma both of Germany.
Predeceased by her daughter Susan Zorn and father Imre Kozma.
A Memorial Service will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Thursday, September 09, 2010 at 11:00 am.

Ellen Hill, of Hanover, passed away at Hanover and District Hospital, on Friday, May 21, 2004. She was 90.
Born in Waterloo, daughter of the late Frederick and Lucine (Huehn) Burch.
Ellen was a member of the E.L.W., the Church Choir and the Saugeen Bach Choir.
Survived by son Roger and his wife Margaret of Kitchener, grandchildren Graeme and Erin.
Also survived by a brother Austin Burch of Port Hope.
Predeceased by husband William Hill, sisters Norine and Ruth.

Viola Hoffman, of Hanover, passed away at The Village Senior's Community, on Thursday, May 20, 2004.
She was 96.
Born in Normanby township, daughter of the late Alexander and Elizabeth (Plantz) Arnold.
Survived by nephew Ken and his wife Bonnie Arnold of Waterloo.
Predeceased by husband Adolph Hoffman, brother Nathaneal Arnold, nephews Donald, John, Ross and Paul.

Alma Albright, of Hanover, passed away at Hanover and District Hospital, on Thursday, April 29, 2004. She was 94.
Survived by son Harry and wife Jean Albright of R.R. 1 Elmwood, daughter Marie and husband Wilfred Hall of R. R. 4 Harriston, grandchildren Allan and Yasmin, Steven and Dallas, Glen and Jennifer, Diane and Jack, Betty and friend Scott and David and fiance Laura, great grandchildren Mark, Emma, Sloan, Aspen, Leila and Kane.
Predeceased by husband Earl in 1984, brothers Herbert and Albert Stade and great grandchild Jordan.

Lloyd Campbell Chittick, of R.R. 3 Hanover, passed away at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Durham on Sunday, May 23, 2004 in his 86th year.
Dearly loved husband of Evelyn (nee Witte) for nearly 63 years.
Loving father of David (Gloria) of Allan Park, Delores Gateman (and friend Bob Boddy) of Chesley, Harold (Velma) of Owen Sound, Cleta Ernest (Gordon) of R.R. 1 Hanover, and Keith of Toronto.
Devoted grandfather of Kevin (Suzanne), Heather (Brett), Brian (Tanya), Jason & Justin Gateman, Lisa Graham (Robert), Doug (Jodie), Michael Ernest (Shannon), and Leanne Ernest.
He was the proud great-grandfather of Shay, Kieran, Adam, Abigail, Amy, Bryce, Curtis, Alecia, Megan, Ryan and Jacob.
Loved brother of Ethel Smith (Vernon) and brother-in-law of Rex Luckhart and Mary Chittick.
Predeceased by his beloved son Wayne, sister Marjorie Luckhart, brothers Vickers, Herbert and Garfield, son-in-law Alan Gateman, and great-grandson Braeden.
Lloyd, a farmer all of his life and respected member of his community, will be remembered for his many years of service as councilor and reeve of Bentinck Township as well as a member of Grey County Council.
He was devoted to his family, friends and community, always striving to make our little part of the world a better place.
Dad would always welcome visitors at the door with a smile and would often play a tune on his fiddle to entertain.
Thank you, Dad and Grandpa, for the many cherished memories we have of you.
We love you and will miss you.
