Vancouver, BC, and David Reid of Toronto. Loving grandmother of Christopher, Jason, and Jennifer. Great grandmother of Natasha. Dear sister of Molly Nix of Toronto and William Paterson of Huntsville. Loved mother of Andre Ladouceur, Rejeanne Ladouceur, and Serge Ladouceur all of Montreal, Quebec, and Michelle (Mann) Bright of Naples, Florida, USA. Loving grandmother of Carlo Mann of Guelph, ON, Les and Kevin Mann both of North Carolina, USA, and Debbie Lise Comeriato of Naples, Florida, USA. Great grandmother of Evan and Sydney. Dear sister of Hilda Henderson of Atwood, Mary Worthington of Toronto, and Willa Rowland of Brampton. Predeceased by a brother George Bates. Loved mother of Ronald Hamilton of Carlisle, Betty Stickney, Wylda (Vern) Rogers both of Guelph, Millie (Bill) Humphries of Petawawa, and Lyle (Lynn) Hamilton of Guelph. Loving grandmother of fourteen. Great grandmother of seventeen. Great great grandmother of one great great grandson. Dear sister of Eleanor Lawrence of Zurich. Also survived by daughter-in-law Helen Hamilton of Guelph. Predeceased by a son James I. Hamilton, grandsons Billy Hamilton and Douglas Stickney, sons-in-law John Stickney and Bruce Cordes, sister Hazel McEdward, and brothers Richard, Jack, and Harold Bell. Loved father of the late Murray Stewart Dyck. Dear brother of Francis (Phyllis) Dyck, Lil Toews, and Caroline (Wayne) Kipling. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Peter was a member of Waverley Lodge No. 361, Scottish Rite, Rose Croix Consistory 32nd Degree, and Rameses Shrine. ARNOTT, David Reid Leadbetter, Ph.D. - (Former Professor Food Sciences, University of Guelph, for 32 years). At St. Joseph's Continuing Care, Guelph, Sunday, April 1, 2001, David R. L. Arnott, Ph.D., in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Jenny (Zubko). Loved father of Janice (Charlie) McWilliams of Guelph, and John (Heather) Arnott of London. Loving "Gramps" of Kyle, Jordan, and Elizabeth Arnott and Samuel and Thomas McWilliams. David studied for his undergraduate degree in Agriculture at the University of Manitoba and his graduate studies in dairy science continued at the University of Minnesota and Penn State. Prior to taking a position at the OAC in 1958, he also spent a year at Purdue University. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service, to celebrate David's life, will be held at THE ARBORETUM CENTRE, University of Guelph, Tuesday, April 10, 2001 at 1:30 p.m. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 1-14 Irvin St., Kitchener N2H 1K8 would be appreciated. (née Clarke); father of Martha Elisabeth I. (Christopher Atkinson), George Alexander (Antoinette) and Sylvia Margaret V.; and grandfather of Sephton Alexander Leibbrandt and Evelyn Coventry Ruth Atkinson. Sadly missed by brother Wolfram (Elizabeth), nephews Kevin and Scott and niece Christina. Visitation at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Friday, April 6 (2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m.). Special uncle to several nieces and nephews. Ken was a former Director of the Poultry Growing Operations of Maple Leaf Mills, a member of St. George's Anglican Church and the Rotary Club of Guelph.
