EWEN, Bonnie Irene - Suddenly, on Monday, November 24, 2003, at 44 years of age.Loving mother of Sarah Pyke; beloved daughter of Margaret and the late William Ewen. Loved by her partner, Derek Gresham; dearest sister to Brenda Ewen, Don Mackie and his wife Liane, Lynn and her husband Dan Lubitz, Elizabeth and her husband Alan Robertson. Aunt to Stephen and Larissa.Memorial fellowship will be held at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 37 Church St., Elora on Thursday, November 27, from 1-3 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Bonnie's Life will be held at the Elora United Church on Friday, November 28, at 2 p.m. A private family interment will be held at a later date.Still beside us daily, in spirit and in love. Gone in flesh, living always in our treasured memories. May her spirit always soar.

GRECO, Enzo Domenico - Peacefully, after a short illness, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Tuesday, November 25, 2003, in his 54th year. Enzo Greco of Cambridge, beloved husband of Jo-Ann (nee Woodley). Loved father of Fabio, Christopher and Charlyne and proud grandfather of Cole. Loved son of Magharita Muto and the late Pietro Greco; dear brother of Anna Mastroianni and Pasqualina Mullen, both of Oshawa and Clara Rocchetta of Florida. Beloved son-in-law of Helen Woodley; stepson of Franco Muto and will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews.Enzo was a millwright and had been employed for 27 years with Gerdau Amersteel (formerly Courtice Steel).Friends will be received at Little's Funeral Home, 223 Main Street East, Cambridge (funeralscanada.com) today (Thursday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A parish wake service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday evening at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Gregory's RC Church, Cambridge on Friday, November 28, 2003 at 10 a.m. Remembrances to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.

HAUGNER, Paul - Died peacefully at his home, surrounded by love, on Monday, November 24, 2003. Paul was 80 years old. Loving husband of 52 years to Karoline (nee Bloch). Dear father of Ingrid and Darrel Knoll of Kitchener, Brigitte and Gary Privatt of Baden and Guenther and Maria Haugner of Plattsville. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Danya (Tyler) Skinner, Kara, Andrea, and Christopher Marshall, Anita (Guy) Maltby, Ashley, and Lindsay Privatt, Adam, Lee-Anne, Michelle, and Christine Haugner and great-grandchildren, Eric and Jordan Maltby. Brother of Rosel and Helmut Huslage of Germany. Paul is remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his daughters, Erika Haugner and Angelika Marshall; parents, Otto and Selma Haugner; his brother, Otto Haugner and sister, Hedwig Haugner. Paul worked in construction in Kitchener-Waterloo for 25 years. The Haugner family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St. Kitchener, today (Wednesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service for Paul will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, November 27, 2003 at 11 a.m. Rev. MacDONALD, Sandra Marie (nee MacKie) - On Tuesday, November 25, 2003, at the Freeport Hospital, in her 58th year.Sandra, beloved partner to Don Hodge. Loving mother of Todd (Kelly), Liam (Jodi), Brad (Michelle), Tracey (Dan) and the late Randy. Also loved by her grandchildren, Mikaela, Brooklyn, Carter, Christopher, Scott, Daniel, Emma and Abby. Dear sister to Lois MacKie of Nova Scotia, Eileen Boutilier (Elmer) of Hamilton, Judy O'Daye (James) of Kitchener, Rodena MacNeil of Nova Scotia, Linda Brunette (Vince) of Nova Scotia, Jimmy MacKie (Mary) of Nova Scotia and the late Charlie, Leo, Irvine and Kenny.Sandra was, for many years, an employee of MTD in Kitchener. She was also very active in Kitchener Minor Hockey and Kitchener Minor Lacrosse.At Sandra's request, cremation has taken place. RIDLER, Samuel Cecil - passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Monday, November 24, 2003, at the age of 61 years. Lovingly remembered by his wife Diane (nee Wyszynski), his sons, Michael and his wife Kerry and Matthew. Grandfather of Charles Taylor-Ridler. Survived by his sisters Doris Voisin and Jean Tartaglia. Predeceased by his parents Cecil and Jean Ridler (Binney), his step-mother Sylvia Burnett and his brother Douglas. Samuel will also be remembered for his sense of humour by his sisters and brothers-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. WRAY, Evelyn - passed away peacefully, at Parkwood Mennonite Home, on Monday, November 24, 2003, at the age of 84 years, with her daughter at her side. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Jacqueline Papke and her husband Lloyd as well as her grandchildren, David and his wife Janet, Perth, ON, Karen Papke, Waterloo and Gord Papke, Perth, ON, as well as great-grandchildren Lauren and Shelley in Waterloo and Jason, James and Katie in Perth. Also survived by her sisters, Alice Kearns in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Christine Clarke in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Olga Smith, Langley, BC, and brothers, Norman Amundson and his wife Jean in Regina, Saskatchewan and Elmer Amundson in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. Predeceased by parents, Gustav Amundson and Anna Olsen, her first husband Lt. Francis H.C. Bell, her second husband Lloyd Wray as well as sister Vivian Burns and brother Harold Amundson. Ev lived in Swift Current until 1959 when she moved to K-W area. She was a devoted and loving mother and a wonderful "Ungadee" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. CORBY, Margaret Copland - December 5, 1924 - November 18, 2003. Predeceased by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. Y. Copland and her brother, Bob (Mr. Robert P. Copland), Kitchener. Margaret leaves a legacy of love and laughter for everyone she touched. There is only one set of footsteps in the sand now, as God has carried her to a more beautiful place, but she is only gone from our sight, not our hearts. We remember her sparkling eyes and smile, her sense of humor, the hidden inner strength and her warmth, wit and enthusiasm. She was a dedicated, loving mother, grandmother, sister and spouse.She is survived by her husband, Dr. Robert Benson Corby; her brother, Douglas of Ottawa; her daughter, Gail (Mrs. William Bishop of Alamo, Calif.); her son, Mark Corby of Black Canyon City, Arizona; her son, Scott Corby of Bakersfield, Calif.; their families and grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Doris Copland and her cousin, Philip Rason and many dear friends. Her mortal body provided research and life for others.Margaret's ashes will be scattered over the ocean. HASSUM, Norman (Norm) - After a brief illness, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Wednesday, November 26, 2003, in his 83rd year, Norm Hassum, of Cambridge. Beloved husband of Isobel (nee Baines); dear father of Judy (Larry) Awcock, Gail (Ken) Graham and Beverly (Jim) O'Neill, all of Cambridge. Poppa was dearly loved by his grandchildren, Karen (Paul), Michelle (Ken), Kim (Derek), Donovan, Dylan, Douglas and Michael and great-grandfather of Michael, Matthew, Nicholas and Tyler. Norm was the last surviving member of his family, having been predeceased by a sister, Dora and brothers, Reg and Leslie. Norm was a longtime member of St. David's Anglican Church, the Royal Canadian Legion, Galt Branch No. 121 and was a true sports enthusiast.
