SIMON, Elisabeth - Peacefully, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, on Thursday, June 10, 2004, age 93 years. Mrs. Simon was a member of St. Anne's RC Church, Kitchener and was a member of the CWL at St. Anne's and St. Mary's RC Church. She was also a past member of the Alpine Club. Loving mother of Jerry Simon and his wife Christine of Edmonton and Marion Wright and her husband Peter of Sault St. Marie. Beloved grandmother of Jeffery Dueck (Trish), John Dueck (Tena) and Jim Dueck, Karen Mongoni (Joe), Susan Wilson (Kevin), Kelly St. Pierre (Jeff), and Leslie Simon; great-grandmother of Jessica Dueck, Amanda and Brandon Wilson, Sarah and Danielle Dueck, Simon and Samantha Mongoni, and Abigal St. Pierre. Predeceased by her husband, Ernest Simon (1995); parents, Matthew and Maria Kresse; a daughter Irma Dueck (1974); a brother Bert Kresse and sisters, Mary Ospelt and Sophie Schober. For a Celebration of Mrs. Simon's Life family will receive friends and relatives at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel, 51 Benton at Church St., Kitchener on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Monday, June 14, 2004 at 9:15 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial from St. Anne's RC Church at 10 a.m. with Rev. Michael King as celebrant. Interment to follow in Woodland cemetery , Kitchener. STUDENIC, Martin - Peacefully, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Thursday, June 10, 2004 at the age of 83. Survived by his wife Valerie, his nephew Dr. Vladimir Gaspar and his wife and their daughter Eva. Martin will be sadly missed by many friends, especially the Vestenicky family. Family and friends are invited to Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home & Chapel, 51 Benton (at Church St.) 742-4481 for a funeral service today (Saturday, June 12, 2004) at 5 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Visitation will take place two hours prior to service time. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to be made to a charity of choice. TANNER, Mrs. Maud F. - Passed away, peacefully, at Emmanuel Village in Kitchener, on Friday, June 11, 2004, at the age of 90. Loving mother of D'Arcy Tanner and his wife Margaret of Niagara Falls, Nancy Bauman of Hanover, and Bruce Tanner and his wife Lois of Point Clark. Dear grandmother of 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband, Allen Tanner in 1988; son, Clarence in 1988; son-in-law, Robert Bauman; grandson, Mark Tanner; daughter-in-law, Barbara; brother, Douglas Munro and sister, Velma. Visitation was held at The Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, 745-9495, on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. only. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, June 14 (today) at 11 a.m. Interment at Parkview cemetery , Waterloo. Reception will follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre. WAITE, Agatha "Agi"- After a brief illness, passed away, on Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at the age of 55. Loving wife of Arthur. Beloved daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Drenko. Loving sister of Shirley and Emily. Agi will be missed by her many friends at the club and by her five "special cats". A Memorial gathering to honour Agi's life will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2004 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the R. S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street, Toronto (at Goulding, south of Steeles).

WEIDNER, Helen Margaret (nee McDonald) - Resident of Winston Park Nursing Home, passed away peacefully, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, June 10, 2004, at the age of 91 years. Wife of the late Eugene Weidner (1992); beloved mother of Joyce Schmitt (Edward), Mary Lou Jurchuk (Glenn), Jo Anne Kocher (Dave Heubach) and Michael Weidner (Valerie); loving grandmother of Jonathan, Jody, Wesley, Jillaine, Stacy and Kevin; great-grandmother of Kirstin, Kylie, Sarah, Abbey, Rebecca and Emily; sister of Rheta McTavish and Luella O'Grady; sister-in-law of Florence McDonald. Predeceased by her son, Lloyd (1953); her parents, Fred McDonald and Catherine Linesman; her brother Gerard McDonald and her sisters, Gladys Kueneman and Alma Forester. The family will receive friends at the Ratz Bechtel Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 621 King St. W., Kitchener on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., with vigil prayers being held at the funeral home at 8:45 p.m., on Sunday evening. Family prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Monday, June 14, 2004 at 9:15 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis of Assisi RC Church, 49 Blueridge Ave., Kitchener at 10 a.m., with Rev. WILLIAMS, Bill Rees - passed away at the Hanover and District Hospital, on Friday, June 11, 2004, Bill Williams, beloved husband of the late Julianna Allenson, of Hanover, in his 79th year. He is survived by one son Glen Wickens of Kitchener and two daughters Darlene Bechthold and her husband Charlie of St. Clements and Ann Clayburn and her husband Dan of Shakespeare. Also four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends may call at the Garrett Funeral Chapel in Neustadt (519-799-5760) today (Saturday) 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Normanby township on Sunday, June 13, 2004 at 2 p.m. Interment St. Paul's Lutheran cemetery.Memorial donations to London Health Sciences Centre or the Hanover Library would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

YOTOFF, Elizabeth - Elizabeth Yotoff passed away May 19, 2004, at a convalescent hospital in Santa Maria, CA. She was born in Truax, Sask., August 1, 1913. She moved from Cambridge, Ont. to Merced, CA, in 1978, after the death of her second husband, John Yotoff. In 1994, she relocated to Orcutt, CA, with her daughter and son-in-law. Elizabeth had a green thumb and enjoyed working in her rose garden. She was also a wonderful cook and baker. Her cinnamon rolls and bread were family favorites. She is survived by her daughter, Mildred E. Heinzler and son-in-law Robert, of Orcutt; four grandchildren, Michele Cooper and husband David, of Orcutt, John Heinzler and wife Leanne, of Tehachapi, CA, Cheryl Strider and husband John, of West Virginia and Janice M. Heinzler of Las Vegas, NV and eight great-grandchildren, Matthew, Jacquie, and Sean Cooper, Elizabeth and Clint Heinzler, Carrie, Caitlin, and Allison Strider. She is also survived by her sister, Eva Gibbons and husband John; brother, Steve Parankawich and wife Micky, all of Viceroy, Sask. Other survivors include many nieces and nephews in Canada. She is preceded in death by a son, Leonard Lipinski; her first husband, Michael Lipinski; her second husband of 28 years, John Yotoff and her sister, Susan Mcdermid. A celebration of life was held at St. Louis de Montfort Church, Saturday, May 22, 2004, at 10 a.m. Interment Mount View cemetery Mausoleum in Cambridge, Ontario on June 21 at 10 a.m. Elizabeth will be missed by all and remembered with love. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your favorite charity.

ZEHR, Elmer Jacob - It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Elmer Zehr on June 2, 2004, in his 79th year. Elmer passed away at the Pasque Hospital in Regina, Saskatchewan with his family by his side. Born in Poole, Ontario, son of the late Samuel K. and Emma (Albrecht) Zehr. Dear husband of Helena (Thompson) Zehr, who passed away May, 1979. Lovingly remembered by his son, Jim; grandchildren, Corie and wife Ila, David and friend Katie, Kimberly, Dawn and friend Dennis and two great-grandchildren, Matthew and Nathan. Dear brother of Harvey and Maureen, Mary and Harold, Mahlon and Vera, Leona and Robert, Loreen, Selina and Stanley. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Also by sisters and brother-in-law, Rose, Barbara, Vicky, Kay, Ann and Andrew. Predeceased by sister, Esther and husband Jack; brother-in-law, Emmanuel Jantzi; sister and brother, Clarence and Laura in infancy; mother-in-law, Mary; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Mathais. Funeral service was held Monday, June 7, 2004 at 2 p.m. at Speers Funeral Chapel in Regina. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. A memorial service will be held at Poole Mennonite Church on Sunday, June 13, 2004 at 2 p.m.

Joao de Faria of Cambridge is the beloved husband of Maria de Faria; dear father of Maria Lina and her husband Tony Homen of Hamilton, Alda Botelho and her husband Manny of Cambridge and Maria Botelho and her husband Joe of Hamilton; loved grandfather of Nancy, Christine, Jennifer, Jessica, Shaun, Brian, the late Chris Botelho, the late Sandy Homen and four great-grandchildren; dear brother of Emerciana of Pico, Azores. He was predeceased by three sisters and four brothers. Friends were received at Coutts Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 96 St. Andrews St. Cambridge, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Elgin St. S., Cambridge on Monday (today) June 14, 2004 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Mount View cemetery , Cambridge. A parish rosary will be recited in the Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday at 8 p.m.

HACHBOLD, Klara - Passed away, with family by her side, at St. Mary's General Hospital, on Friday, June 11, 2004, at the age of 75 years. Beloved wife of the late Andreas (May 2002). Loving mother of Gertrude and her husband Joachim Lenz, John and the late Linda who passed away hours before her loving mother-in-law, Maria and her husband George Maltais; cherished Oma of Roland, Holger, Daniel, Michael, Murray and Marty. Survived by two great-grandchildren in Germany. Klara enjoyed baking, knitting, crocheting, and family gatherings. HACHBOLD, Linda Faye - Passed away, peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Friday, June 11, 2004, at the age of 42. Beloved wife of John whom she married on September 13, 1983. Loving mother of Daniel. Survived by her father, Julius Payne of Gastonia, North Carolina; two brothers, John Payne of Milton, Florida, Joseph Gary Payne of Charlotte, North Carolina, and sister, Deborah Perez of Charlotte, North Carolina. Predeceased by her mother, Virginia Savage-Payne in 1983. Linda had been employed with Priority Circuits in Kitchener for many years. She enjoyed traveling and was an avid reader. Visitation was be held at The Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, 745-9495, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel Monday, June 14 (this evening) at 6 p.m. Following the service, a reception will be held in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre. To honour Linda's last wishes, cremation will follow.
