GERALDINE KLAEHN (Gerry Bowman) 1919-2004 Today the Angels Came Down from Heaven to escort My Mother Home. It is with great sadness that I announce to you the passing of a wonderful lady, my mother, Geraldine, after a lengthy illness, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Sunday, June 13, 2004, in her 85th year. Gerry was born in Kitchener, December 30, 1919 and was the last member of the Bauman Family. She was the youngest daughter of the late Rosina Raiter 1874-1957 and Henry Bauman 1865-1954. She was a member of St. Louis RC Church in Waterloo. Gerry is survived by her only son Kenneth and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her beloved husband Harold H. Klaehn 1918-1963 as well as her sisters, brother and their spouses. Marie 1896-1918 (Emil Ruf), Irene 1898-1982 (Herman Melchin), Reta 1907-1974 (Wilfred Simpson), Jerome 1908-1971 (Eileen Bauman), Marjorie 1914-1995 (Jack Thompson), Dorothy 1916-1993 (Edward Wick). Gerry was a member of the 25 Year Plus Club at Arrow Shirt Company, Kitchener. At the request and last wish of Gerry, no funeral or visitation will take place.
