SELLEY, Elizabeth (Betty) Tinnes Kirkwood - It is with profound sadness that I announce the passing of my daughter in Waitsfield, Vermont on July 17, 2004 with her husband and children by her side. I am thankful her suffering is over and that she is with her Lord and with her father. May they rest in peace until we meet again. Elizabeth, 64, passed away peacefully at her home in Waitsfield. STUMPF, Julie Anne - Suddenly at home in Kitchener, Julie Anne Stumpf, at the age of 36. She will be missed greatly by her best friend and partner Patricia Moore and family Shara, Austyn and Amanda, her mother Carol Stumpf and by her grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by her father Bill Stumpf (2001). At Julie's request, there will be no public funeral service. GERTRUDE ATKINS (nee Mattila) 1917 - 2004 Gertrude (Gertie, Trudy) died at Trinity Village, Kitchener, on Wednesday, July 28, 2004. She was born on December 28, 1917, in Lohtaja, Finland, and emigrated to Canada with her mother and brother in April of 1926. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas (1980). She is the mother of Michael and his wife Kristin of Clinton, grandmother of David and Jenny of Kitchener, and great-grandmother of Meghan. Also survived by a nephew, Eric Mattila and Judy, and their children Raymond and Stuart, and a niece, Barbara Gonyea, and BJ and Blair, nephew Eric Biergard and his wife Joan and family, and nieces Helen Marshall and Ann Warner and her husband Dale and family. Predeceased by her sister Lilja, brother Robert and his wife Birgit, and nieces Vieno and Pat. Gertie was a longtime inspector for Rockwell International (Collins Radio) in Toronto, and a devoted volunteer at the Sunbeam Residential Home in Kitchener. She received an Oktoberfest Woman of the Year award for her work at Sunbeam. Friends are invited to share their memories of Gertie with her family at the Edward R.
