Loving partner of Paul Gibbons of the Saugeen First Nation. Dear mother of Deedrea of Muncey First Nation and Jody-Lee at home. Dear sister of Garry, Wayne, Ervin, Julie, Colleen, Darin, Murray and his wife Penny, all of the Saugeen First Nation, Angie, Colin, Myra and her husband Christopher Treloar, all of Vancouver B.C.. Also survived by her brother-in-law Jaak Vanloffeld of Saugeen. Sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews, by her aunt and uncles, by her cousins and by her friends of the community. Predeceased by her parents Douglas and Ella Johnston, by 1 sister, Linda and by 2 brothers, Eric and Stuart. Visitation from the Wesley United Church, Highway 21, Saugeen First Nation, on Sunday October 7 2001, from 7-9pm and on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The Funeral Service will be conducted from the Church, 2pm Tuesday October 9 2001. Rev. Eleanor Russ will officiate. Interment French Bay cemetery. Expressions of Remembrance to the Canadian Diabetes Asociation. Arrangements entrusted to the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton (519) 797-2085.

Gerald Blake of Port Elgin and formerly of Elderslie Township in his 71st year. Beloved husband of Mary Blake (nee Farrell) of Port Elgin. Dear father of Mike and his wife Annette of Waterford, Jim and his wife Chris of Owen Sound, Linda and her husband Ed Tisdale of Paisley, and Farrell and his wife Julie of Owen Sound. Also survived by 2 sisters, Mary and her husband Joseph Smith of Brantford and Rita Blake of Port Dover. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Travis, Tanner, Blake, Samantha and Taylor. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Ursula Blake, by 2 brothers, Dan and Lawrence and by 2 sisters, Kathleen and Helen. At Gerald's request his body has been donated to the University of Western Ontario for Anatomical Research. Visitation at the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton, on Friday October 26 2001 from 7-9pm. A Funeral Mass to Celebrate the Life of Gerald Blake will be conducted in St Patrick's Church, Southampton, on Saturday at 11am. Father Robert Hudson will officiate. A Time of Fellowship will follow in the Family Centre of the Funeral Home. Expressions of Remembrance to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

WOLFE, Dorothy Edith (nee Hagey) at the Southampton Care Centre on October 18th, 2001. Dorothy Wolfe of Southampton in her 94th year. Born in Waterloo Township, daughter of Irvine and Edith Hagey. She was a graduate of Stratford Normal School, member of Mount Hope U.C.W. and Williscroft Womens Institute. Dorothy was the Beloved Wife of the Late John Wolfe. Dear mother of sons Robert (Irvine) and his wife Doreen of Tees, Alberta, Bill and his wife Gail of Southampton, Gerald and his wife Diane of Bolton and daughter-in-law Beth Acroyd (Wolfe) of White Lake, Ontario. Sadly missed by grandchildren Cindy, Shaun, Duane, Kathy, Debby, Rhonna Lynne, Janine, and Daniel, and 12 Great Grand Children. Survived by brother Lloyd and his wife Bertha of Cambridge and sister Grace Campbell of Kitchener and sister-in-law Ruby Wolfe of Tara. Also pre-deceased by son Ronald ,Grandsons Bradly ,Paul and in-laws Tony Campbell, Ed, Eleanor and Harold Wolfe. Cremation. Interment of Ashes, Hillcrest cemetery , Tara. At Dorothy's request, the family will share in a Private Celebration of her Life. Expressions of Remembrance to the Saugeen Shores Medical Building Fund are most preferred as your expression of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to the Eagleson Funeral Home.

Loving companion and best friend of Guy Johnston of Southampton. Cherished mother of David Greig and his wife Joelle of North Bay, Dan Greig and his wife Jennifer Bell, Beverly Beirnes and her friend Dan Foster and Jordon Beirnes all of Port Elgin. Proud grandmother of Jakob. Fondly remembered by Bryn Johnston of Waterloo, Kendall Johnston of Sarnia and Luke Johnston of Southampton. Dear daughter of Jack and Sylvia Greig of Port Elgin. Also survived by her brother Rick of Oshawa and by her sisters, Lori of Port Elgin, Teresa of Southampton, Donna and her husband Wally Yetman of London and Martha of Port Elgin. Sadly missed by her grandmothers, Florence Sylvest of Shallow Lake and Lillian Greig of Owen Sound. Predeceased by her 1st husband Wayne Beirnes. Cremation. Visitation 1 hour prior to a Memorial Service to celebrate Penny's life, which will be conducted in the Chapel of the Eagleson Funeral Home Southampton on Friday November 9 2001, at 11am. Interment Southampton cemetery. A time of fellowship will follow in the Family Centre of the Funeral Home. Expressions of remembrance to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Community Living Program, Wiarton.

Dear sister of Harry Haskell and his wife Vi of Hanover. Lovingly remembered by 23 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Predeceased by one son Howard, by her parents Joseph and Elizabeth Haskell and by her sister Eva. Ross will be sadly missed by his extended family and by his many friends of the community. It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Ellen Shular (Malcolm) announce her passing on Friday, December 14, 2001 at Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, in her 81st year. After her struggle to retain her independence through several years of deteriorating health, she is now at rest, joining her beloved husband of 39 years, Warren, who passed away in 1988. Mary is survived by her loving and devoted family, Keith Malcolm and his wife Laura of Calgary, Margaret Boardman and her husband David of Burlington, Robert and his wife Karin, Kathryn Ryder and her husband Larry and Donald and his wife Muriel, all of Southampton. Also survived by one sister Ruby Sadler of Wiarton. Mary was a cherished grandma to 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by 4 brothers, 2 sisters and her parents Emily and Thomas Malcolm. The family will receive friends at the Eagleson Funeral Home, 234 Palmerston Street, Southampton Ontario, on Sunday December 16, 2001 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The Funeral Service will be conducted at the Southampton United Church on Monday December 17, at 2 p.m. Interment Southampton cemetery. A time of fellowship will follow at the Southampton United Church, Social Hall. Expressions of Remembrance to the Saugeen Shores Medical Building Fund or to the Southampton United Church.
