Adolfina (Ann) Sebastian Miscio
January 4, 1907 - December 8, 2000

In her 94th year, Ann was finally reunited with her loving husband Gene (1979).

Beloved mother of Fred and Marie. She was a doting grandmother to Sue Giroux (Joe), Mark, John (Angela), Michael (Jennifer), Lisa Danis, Gina Perry (Byron), Carla Eros (Paul) and Mary. Great-grandmother of Katherine, Lindsay, Nicole, Victoria, Emily, Rockey, John Henri and Jordan.

Ann spent many hours knitting her love into warm mittens, hats and socks for each of them.

She will also be lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law Angeline Sebastian, brother-in-law Mario Miscio (Italy), many nephews, nieces and friends. Predeceased by her great-granddaughter Carla and siblings, Vincent, Angela, Ralph, Ernest, Florence, Mary and Gus.

Ann was an active member of St. Lawrence’s CWL since 1952. She will be greatly missed by all her relatives and friends.

Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton St. East (near James) on Saturday 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers Sunday at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass Monday 10 a.m. at St. Lawrence’s Church with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre cemetery.

Donations to Canadian Diabetes Society or St. Lawrence’s Church Building Fund would be appreciated.

Angela Agro
January 31, 1919 - November 29, 2000

Peacefully at the Villa Colombo Nursing Home, Toronto on Wednesday, November 29, 2000 in her 82nd year.

Beloved wife of the late Leonardo Agro. Angela will be sadly missed by her loving children Ignazio Agro, Antonietta Travale and her husband Larry, Charlie Agro and his wife Murielle.

Predeceased by her daughter Giuseppina Guastadisegni and survived by her husband Mike.

Loving grandmother of Nick, Anna, Angela and Julia Guastadisegni, Geanetta and David Travale, Kristen and Lee Agro.

Loving sister of Rose Leotta, Grace and her husband Joe Tavormina Tony and his wife Lilla Puma. Angela will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Anthony Loverro
April 14, 1926 - December 10, 2000

passed away peacefully on December 10th, 2000 surrounded by his loving family in his 74th year.

Anthony, beloved husband of Carmela. Loving father of Maria (Delores) and Bob, Joe and his wife Linda, Gina, Peter and his wife Angel, Anna, and Tony Jr. Beloved brother of Rosa and Gino, Graziella and Paolo of New York, Angelo and Graziella from Downsview, Nina and the late Domenic from Mississauga and Giovanna of Bradford.

Beloved Papa of 8 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren and 3 great- grandchildren.

Mr. Loverro will be resting at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton St. E (near James.) Tuesday evening 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 14th, 2000.

Mr. Loverro was a retired employee of Ford Canada.

The family would like to thank the staff of St. Peter’s Hospital for the loving care of our father.

Interment to follow at Woodland cemetery.

January 26, 1916 - December 18, 2000

Beloved husband of the late Rosa DiTomaso (1974). Dear father of Jim Frenza and his wife Nica, Diana and her husband Jim Supple.

Loving Nonno of Paul, Mark, Adam, Laura, Samantha, Matthew and Smiling Jack. Francesco will be sadly missed by brother Peppino and sister Inez in Italy. Dear brother-in-law of Rosa DiTomaso, Frank and Emily DiTomaso.

Surrounded by her family and friends at Central Park Lodge, Hamilton on Tuesday, December 26, 2000 at the age of 89.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph Cino. Rose leaves her son Chuck and Terri of Gilford, Daughter Rosemary and Ciaran of Toronto, daughter-in-law Norma and George of Hamilton. Rose was predeceased by her dear son Carl. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Carl, Betty-Anne, Peter, Michael, and Mark and great-grandchildren Michael, Nick, Robert, Scott, Sarah, Emily and Leah. Dear sister of Sam, Charlie and late brother Tom. Rose will be fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.

Beloved husband of the late Concetta (Traina). Predeceased by his daughter, Josephine DiMarino.

Alfonso will always be remembered by his loving children, Joseph and his wife Dora, Sam and his wife Angela, John and his wife Cynthia, Tina and her husband Rocco Viola, Salvina and her husband Christopher Grice and son-in-law John DiMarino. Alfonso will be sadly missed by his 15 loving grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Loving brother of Salvatore and his wife Concetta and predeceased by his sister, Rosa Licata. Alfonso will be fondly remembered by his many relatives and friends.

Predeceased by her loving husband Anthony (1978). Dearest mother of Edward and his wife Bonnie. Loving grandmother of Charles and Brenda Tortola, Robin and Greg Dunaski, Angela and Rick Jesty. Adoring great-grandmother to Kyle, Justin and Kasey, Jim, Niki and Brian.

Dear sister and sister-in-law of the late Alesio, the late Elvira, Eleanora and the late Victor Vespa, Lucrezia and the late Gino Flaiani, Jerry and Marie Mancini, Ernesto Tortola, Michael Tortola, Domenic Tortola and Angelina Giaccomantonio. Anna Marie will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Carmine (Mike) Pangia
April 18 1923 - January 27, 2001

It is with great sadness that Mike cycled his final race. A race against cancer that he could not win.

Surrounded by his family and loving friends, Mike in his 78th year, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, January 27th, 2001.

Predeceased by his father Teodozio and is mother Giuseppina of Rotello, Italy. Survived by his loving wife Elodia, cherished daughter Connie and her husband Nick Catalano and adoring grandchildren Michael, Justin and Kayla and dear friend Rocky.

Sadly missed by his brother Jimmy Pangia and wife Lina and sisters and brothers-in-law Tony and Margaret Giardino, Joe and Gina Molinaro, Pio and Anna Giardino, Lucia and Enzo Scarponi of Hamilton, and Grazietta and the late Carlo Giardino of Rocca San Giovanni, Italy and many affectionate nieces and nephews.

A sincere and caring thank you to his Doctor and dear friend Dr. Bashir Khambalia and his wife Katie, the St. Elizabeth Home Healthcare Services, especially nurses Amy and Dr. Leo Winter and Dr. Woods for their kindness and compassion.

Also to Maxine Mascia and Inez for making his final days peaceful and dignified.

In lieu of flowers, the family will gratefully appreciate donations to Villa Italia Foundation, Hamilton, a charity of the Order of the Sons of Italy, Trieste Lodge #4 where Mike appreciatively served for almost 50 years .

Mike was a builder who took pride in his trade and was greatly admired by his colleagues and many clients. He brought the same values to his personal life where he built many warm and caring relations.

Family and friends may call at the FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton St. E (near James) on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers on Monday evening at 8 p.m. The Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church. Entombment will follow at Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum, Holy Sepulchre cemetery.

October 2, 1925 - January 26, 2001

Following a long and courageous battle with cancer, Pearl, in her 76th year. Beloved wife of Aldo for 51 years, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2001.

She is survived by her children Paul and Catherine of Hamilton, Raymond and Ann of London, Lori and Doug Shushack of Kitchener.

Nonna will be deeply missed by Erin, David, Chris, Matthew, Rachel and Jessica.

Predeceased by her parents Albert and Maria. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Gladys and the late Hugo Morrison, Peter and Barbara Morassutti, Isabel and Fulvio Benvenuti, Stella Nesbitt, Marie and Russ Andrews, Ada and the Bill Gushel, Mario and Dorothy, Ida and the Mike Spilak, Annie and the late Donald Oakes. Pearl will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pearl was a long time member of the Ladies Venetian Club and the St. Anthony’s C.W.L.

The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of the Henderson General Hospital and the Hamilton Regional Cancer Centre for their care, assistance and support.
