Lt. Col. M.C. William (Bill) Lawson Graydon
January 8, 1918 - February 26, 2001

Funeral arrangements by Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home (Burlington Chapel)

Peacefully in his home on Monday February 26th. Bill will now join his loving and very much loved wife Mary, and will be sorely missed by his five children Johanne Brannan (nee Graydon), Bill, Bob, Jay, Mike and their spouses Dr. Dennis L.(Brannan), Ginny (Robinson), Eleanor (Eastcott), Rosemary (Squire) and Jane (Sullivan).

Sadly missed by his 15 grandchildren who meant the world to him, Julie, Cindy, Will, Mac, Meghann, Gillian, Alexa, John, Hilary, Sarah, Joel, Robbie, Riley, Colin and Tim.

Bill was born in Picton, Ontario but moved his then young family to Burlington where he lived for the past 50 years. He devoted his life to his family and to his country having spent 4 years overseas on the front lines during WW II, receiving the Military Cross, Canada’s second highest Military Honour in the Italian Campaign.

He continued his service as a Militia Officer with the Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment where he became Honorary Lieutenant Colonel and with the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry.

Bill spent his working life as a Federal Civil Servant with the Departments of Health and Welfare, Veterans Affairs and Canadian Pension Plan. The family and most assuredly, Bill, would like to acknowledge the tremendous kindness and caring provided by the Canadian Red Cross Homemaking Service of Halton, specifically Elaine, Mary, Dianne, Doris, Tracy and pass on our thanks to Linda.

Friends may call at the DODSWORTH & BROWN FUNERAL HOME, Burlington Chapel, 2241 New Street at Drury Lane (905-637-5233), on Thursday March 1st from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church (126 Plains Rd. East) on Friday March 2nd at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Building Fund for St. Matthew’s-On-The-Plains Anglican Church.

June 14, 1917 - February 27, 2001

Beloved wife of the late Robert Healey and dearly loved mother of Robert and his wife Margie of Bracebridge and Clayton and his wife Doris of London. Eloise was a longtime member of St. Giles Church and the U.C.W. She’ll be remembered for her generosity and her love for her family.

And I can live my life on earth
Contented to the end
If but a few shall know my worth

Beloved daughter of the late Russell and Phyllis (nee Payne) Peart. Cherished friend to Wanda Rychlicki. Beloved aunt to Pauline Gunn and her husband George, Russell Milne and his wife Yvonne and Andrew Milne and his fiancee Stacy Watts. Loved great-aunt of Dawn, Cameron and Michelle Gunn, Elizabeth, Joshua and Ethan Milne.

Predeceased by her sister Elizabeth Page. Margaret will be fondly remembered by her many cousins and friends.

Margaret was retired Vice President of Nursing at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton, former Board Member of St. Elizabeth Nurses, Hamilton, former Board Member and Past President of Victorian Order of Nurses, Halton.

Dear father of Michael, Maria Maingot-Douketis and her husband Constantine, all of Toronto, Angela Eckel and her husband Geoffrey, Anthony and his wife Fatima, all of Trinidad, Bernard and his wife Cynthia of Mississauga, and Judy Maingot of Burlington. Predeceased by his son Richard and daughter-in-law Ann Marie of Trinidad. Loved grandpa of Ana Lise, Jonathan, Melissa, Shannon, Danielle, Julian, Kieran and Jenna.

Dearly loved father of Christine Hendrie and her husband Ian of Ancaster, Karen Bisson and her husband David of North Carolina, Dr. Kathy Brock of Kingston and her partner Stephen Streeter. Loving partner and best friend of Pat Hutchings.

Loving grandfather of Jay and Paige. Brother of Audrey Brock of Mississauga and son-in-law of Irene Culbert of London. Predeceased by his parents Olive and Ralph Brock and his sister June Baker.

Mr. Brock was a former President and CEO of T.M. Spratt Limited and a consultant in the poultry industry.

Gently in the late afternoon of March 22nd, 2001. Surrounded by love, Ken lost his valiant battle with cancer.

Ken, age 47 leaves behind Karen his wife of 12 years and three beautiful children, Kalen, Andrew and Hannah. Also left to mourn are Ken’s parents Ruth and Lawrence Lindstrom of Edmonton, Alberta brother Kevin and his wife Tia of Vancouver, B.C. In-laws Ruth and Sam Beamish and Gary Byers all of Oakville.

Loving grandmother of Adam, Aimee, Murray Patrick, Patrick, Erin, Laura, Olivia, Madelaine, Bailey and Noah. Dear sister of Doreen Falla of Hamilton, and Ronald Falla and his wife June of Hamilton. Also leaving many nieces and nephews and very dear friend Marg Hanson.

Mom, your boundless courage has given us strength and you have touched every one of us in untold ways. You have lived life with poise and quiet determination; you have embraced your golden years with grace and dignity. In the end, you have passed with the same poise, grace and dignity. We will love you forever.

Jean Hope Cliff
December 9, 1927 - July 5, 2001

After a brief illness, Hope passed away peacefully, in her 74th year, at her home in Burlington, surrounded by her loving and devoted family, on July 5, 2001. Hope was the loving wife and constant companion of Donald for 46 years. Cherished mother of David (Patricia) and Sheila (William Barrett), and doting Nana to Daniel, Robert and Nicole. Hope will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and cousins who adored her, as well as many friends both at home and in Barbados, her home away from home, especially Jackie Hodgkinson of London, Hope's best friend for 35 years.
