Peacefully on Wednesday, November 29, 2000 at McMaster University Medical Centre Ernest Schreiner in his 88th year passed away.
He is survived by his loving family, daughters Helen Dombovics of York, Ontario, Jennifer Witte of London, Ontario, 3 grandsons, 1 granddaughter and 5 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home, ANCASTER CHAPEL, 378 Wilson Street East (648-3852) on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel Saturday at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family, would appreciate donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Peter Harrower Douglas

Peacefully at home, on Saturday, December 23, 2000, Peter Harrower Douglas, 82 years.
Beloved husband of Margaret Elizabeth "Betts" (Jukes) for 60 years. Son of the late Peter Harrower and Mabel Marie Douglas of Ancaster. Predeceased by his brothers Roderick and Fenner and sister Mabel.
Sadly missed by brother-in-law and wife Budge and Olwen Jukes, sister-in-law Stephanie and brother-in-law Bryan Malley and their families. Predeceased by daughter Stephanie Anne. Loving father and father-in-law of Pam and (Tony) LeMoine, Peter and (Maria) Douglas, Rosemary and (Chris) Stuart, Ian and (Mary Jane) Douglas.
He will be greatly missed by grand- children Doug and (Tina), Marc and (Melody), Andrew, Sarah, Peter Thomas and Victoria, Fiona and Alison, Emma and great-grandson Luca.
Peter received his pilot's licence in 1938 and joined 119 (BR) Squadron. He served with courage and distinction, rising to commanding officer and was mentioned in dispatches. He finished his service flying Lancasters with 429 Squadron.
In his later years, Peter developed a keen interest in the Douglas family history. A proud member of Clan Douglas, he left us all enriched with his enthusiasm for the family roots.

Peacefully at her home in Dundas, our loving and beloved mother Particia (Krijgsman) departed to be with her Lord and Saviour on Sunday, February 4, 2001 in her 91st year.
Predeceased by her husband Gerrit (1970) and granddaughters Angela and Lisa Warren.
Mourned by over one hundred grand and great-grandchildren; by her children Arie, Jane Desterke, Audrey Van Eck, Jerry, Peter, Gerda Van Eck, John, Casey, Thea Warren and Marvin; and by her brother Arie Krijgsman.

An architect in Hamilton and area for 43 years.
Bill died peacefully at St. Joseph's Healthcare Centre Tuesday, February 13, 2001.
After serving in the navy during the Second World War, later as a journeyman carpenter he entered the University of Pennsylvania School of Architecture in 1954.
Bill was a long time past member of the Hamilton Golf and County Club, an avid sailor and past member of the Royal Hamilton Yacht Club and the Rotary Club of Hamilton.
He served on the Architectural Advisory Committee in Ancaster and was a past president of the Ancaster Tennis Club.
Survived by a loving family, wife Joan (Waddell), son William & his wife Lisette and daughter Carrie, his sister Margaret Morphy, and niece and nephew Lisa and Paul and his wife Lucy.
The family will receive friends at the DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home, ANCASTER CHAPEL, 378 Wilson Street East (648-3852) on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Friday at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow.

Don beloved husband of Isebelle passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2001, in his 76th year. Dearest father of Brooke and John Miller, Wendy Burnham and Fred Hill, Laurie and David Ainslie and Gaye Burnham. Grandpa to Lora, Christopher, Brad, Kristen, Alwyn, Rhys, Steven and Ellen. Survived by his brother, Jack and wife Mary and a sister, Helen.
Don served his country with the Canadian Army during WW II and was a master clock maker, jeweller, and gardener supreme.
The family will visit with friends at the DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home, ANCASTER CHAPEL, 378 Wilson Street East, Wednesday, March 14, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A private Family Service will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place.

Helen passed away peacefully with her loving sons at her side on Monday, March 26, 2001, at the Hamilton General Hospital, at the age of 81.
Predeceased by her loving husband Harry. Beloved mother of son Harry (Jr) and Bev, son Michael and Mary, son Terry and Sylvia and son Denis and Patti. Much adored Nana of Mark, Kelly, Blake, Katie, Nicholas and Jessica.
Visitation will be held at the DODSWORTH & BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 378 Wilson Street East, Ancaster, on Wednesday, March 28th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 29th and will be followed by Interment at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Hamilton.
