58 years, peacefully, on March 19, 2000, at his home in Belle River, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Beloved son of the late Alfred and C. Margery (nee Brown).
Loving father of Cynthia and husband Dave Levasseur, of Essex; Elizabeth and husband Robert Laramie, of Belle River; Lisa and Darick Candido, of Emeryville; Alfred Chapman and fiancee Denise, of Belle River, Mario “Chapman” and Patty, of Toronto; Chantal Gilbert and Edgor, of New Brunswick.
Dear Grandpa to numerous grandchildren.
Dear brother of Alfred (Fred) and wife Vivienne, of B.C.; Catherine and husband Paul Doman, of Belle River, twin brother of Donald and wife Claudette, of Windsor, Robert (Rob) and wife Sheri, of Belle River.
Special uncle and godfather of Jeff and will be remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Dave always had a joke and a smile and would have rather have gone fishing.
Visiting Monday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2000 at 11: 30 a.m. at the Melady Funeral Home & Chapel, 572 Notre Dame Street, Belle River.

Peacefully following a brief illness with her family by her side in her 55th year on February 8, 2001 at Hotel Dieu Hospital.
Late of Emeryville.
Beloved wife of 35 years to Robert.
Loving mother of Elizabeth and Michael Pare and Elaine Brincat.
Survived by her mother Josephine Charbon, California, and predeceased by her father Joseph (1971).
Dearest Nana of Asia and Dallas.
Dear sister of Sylvia Farrugia and husband Joseph; Louis Charbon and wife Irene; Marian Mercieca and husband Sam; Agnes DeMarco and husband Louigi and the late Charles Charbon.
Survived by her sister-in-law Grace Charbon, and will be remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law.
Rose was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Kay Celles Council #2775, Emeryville.

Funeral will be held on February 12, at 10:15 a.m. from the MELADY FUNERAL HOME, 572 Notre Dame St., Belle River (728-1500) then to St. William’s Church Emeryville for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m.
Cremation to follow.
