January 8, 1913 - July 4, 2001

Funeral arrangements by Sherrin Funeral Home

passed away peacefully at the Providence Centre on July 4th, 2001 at the age of 88. Dear mother of Ian and his wife Aurora, Alan and his wife Ev and Diane and her husband Don Waldie.

Loving grandmother of Scott, Todd, Wade, Kelly, Kimberly, Shane, Rene, Lindsay, Scott and Brent. Ada was predeceased by all her 8 brothers and sisters. Family wishes to thank the staff in the Palliative Care Unit of the Providence Centre for their kind support over the past week.

Friends may call at the Sherrin Funeral Home 873 Kingston Road, Toronto, (East of Victoria Park Avenue), 416-698-2861 on Monday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be at Birchcliff United Church (Warden Avenue at Kingston Road.) on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Cremation.

In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the charity of your choice.

October 3, 1919 - June 27, 2001

passed away peacefully at Riverdale Hospital on June 27, 2001 at the age of 81. Beloved wife to Herbert. Loving mother to Lorraine (Jim), Penny (Danny) and the late Patty (John). Cherished grandmother to Greg, Jennifer, Chris, Jeff, Ashley and the late David.

A memorial service will be held at SHERRIN FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, July 4th at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the charity of your choice.

Florence (Westy) Edith Lalor
October 20, 1915 - August 6, 2001

passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at St. Michael’s Hospital on Monday, August 6, 2001. She was the loving wife of the late Rupert Lalor.

Dear mother of John Lalor and his wife Doreen, Anne Goodwin and her husband Ron, and Mary Jane Gowans and her husband Bruce. Devoted grandmother of Stephanie, Joshua, Michael, James, and Erin. Beloved sister of Gilbert Westbrook, the late Alice McLeod, and the late Mabel Malloch.

Friends may call at the SHERRIN FUNERAL HOME, 873 Kingston Road, Toronto (West of Victoria Park Ave.) (416-698-2861) on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. & Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. John’s Roman Catholic Church (794 Kingston Road) on Friday, August 10, 2001 at 10 a.m. Interment Mount Hope cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. Michael’s Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by Westy’s family.

James P. Shepheard
July 13, 1925 - August 30, 2001

Peacefully on August 30, 2001 at his residence in his 77th year. Jim, beloved husband of 52 years to Hettie. Loving father of Bruce and his wife Rae Dawn, and Laurie and her husband David Kilpatrick. Cherished grandfather of Traci, Kathryn, Kevin, Brent, Brenda, Brad and Debbie.

Jim was a WW II veteran with the Lincoln and Welland regiment and was a retired electrician with T. Eaton Company. Jim will be sadly missed by his relatives and friends.

Lottie May Darwin
October 9, 1921 - September 8, 2001

Peacefully at Providence Centre, on Saturday, September 08, 2001. Lottie Darwin, in her 80th year, beloved wife of the late Donald H. Darwin. Loving mother of Barbara and her husband Fred Batten, Elaine Darwin and her husband David Corke and Doug Darwin. Predeceased by her daughter Donna Kerhoas and survived by her son-in-law Robert Kerhoas. Dearly loved grandmother and great grandmother of Laura, Steve, Jessica and Matthew Craig, Emma and Lauren Corke, Madison and Dylan Darwin, Lisa Carruthers and Rachel and Julia Ronson and Kevin, Tracey and Tyler Batten.

Lottie is survived by her sisters Isabel and her husband Jack Scott, Jean and her husband Burton MacDonald and sister-in-law Doris Markle and their families. Predeceased by brother Harold Markle. Lottie will be sadly missed by her special friends Audrey, Peggy, Rita and by her brother-in-law Rowan.

Friends will be received at the SHERRIN FUNERAL HOME, 873 Kingston Road, Toronto (West of Victoria Park Ave.) (416-698-2861) on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A private service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, September 11, 2001. Cremation to follow.

If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by family.

Mary-Lou Hicks
January 19, 1931 - September 20, 2001

passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her husband and children on September 20, 2001. Beloved wife of Bill. Mother of Dan and Jessie, Sandra and Hugh, Brian and Dawn and Rosalind. Loving grandmother of Morgan, Ryan, Amelia , Kaleigh-Anne, Sarah, Alex, Emily and Annika. Daughter of the late Rosalind and Garnet Manning. Predeceased by her twin sister Gladys-Mae and brother Bill. Mary-Lou also leaves behind a remarkable group of friends and neighbours in and around her beloved Beach.

Her unconditional dedication to her husband and children, her effort to always find the best in everything, and her unwavering strength and support has, and always will be an inspiration.

The family greatly appreciates and acknowledges the compassionate care and support of the staff of Mount Sinai Hospital, Dr. Singh and the Calea Palliative Care Unit. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Dear brother of the late Michiyo and Haruo Ikeda, Fumiye and the late Robert Nishimura, Irene and Roy Sugimoto, the late Sam and Jessie and the late Roy Tanaka. Sadly missed by many relatives and friends.

Robert will be missed by his sister Patricia White of Louisville, Kentucky and his mother-in-law Coula Costis.

Cherished grandpa of Bobby and Rachel. Robert will be missed by his sisters Ernestine Birch and Madeline Wilson both of Sault Ste. Marie and his brother Keith Bois of Espanola. Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Aurora of Espanola and his brother Gerald of Sudbury. He will be sadly missed by the rest of his family and friends.
