It is with heartfelt sorrow that the family announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our wife and mother at McMaster University Medical Centre, on Friday September 21, 2001, age 57 years.
Beloved wife and best friend for 42 years of Barrie Harnett.
Loving and devoted mother of Valerie (husband Jonathan Cain) of Norwood, Massachusetts and Christopher (friend Bess McLelland) of Toronto.
Dear sister and friend of Brenda (husband Tom Daley), Priscilla (husband Dave Eberhardt), John DeCiccio (wife Lynda) and Carl DeCiccio (wife Peggy).
Predeceased by brother Pasquale.
Sadly missed by close friend Val and by all her loving nieces and nephews.
She will be fondly remembered for her generosity, integrity and of course her cooking!
The family will receive friends at DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home, ANCASTER CHAPEL, 378 Wilson Street East, (905-648-3852) on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m.
Funeral Services from Walton United Memorial Church, 2489 Lakeshore Rd. West, Oakville, Ontario on Wednesday at 1 p.m.
In respecting Linda’s wishes there will be a private Interment at Woodland cemetery.
Special thanks to the staff at McMaster’s Coronary Care Unit and ICU for their compassionate care and support.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the SPCA or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Peacefully at the Henderson General Hospital on Monday, June 26, 2000, Sophia Guldemond, in her 81st year, went to be with her Lord and Saviour.
Beloved wife of Maurice of Ancaster.
Loved mother of Adrian and his wife Mary of Ancaster, Connie Hargrave and her husband David of Nanaimo, B.C., Marietta Raybould and her husband Walter of Ancaster and John and his wife Gloria of Waterloo.
Sadly missed by grandchildren, Marcel, Lawren, Wesley, Vanessa, Madeline, Alexander, Katherine, Amanda, Bradley and Katrina.
Dear sister of John VanderSpek and his wife Teuna of Holland.
Predeceased by her brothers Arie and Peter and sister Annie.

Funeral Service will be held at the Ancaster Christian Reformed Church (70 Garner Road East, Ancaster) on Thursday at 2 p.m.
Donations to the Calvin Christian School of Hamilton or the Mid American Reformed Seminary of Indiana would be appreciated by the family.

Loving husband of Rona Grove.
Predeceased by Lois Petherick (1991).
Beloved father of Terry (Judi), June (Rick), and David (Brenda).
Loving brother of Gord (Beryl) and Audrey Sinclair.
Cherished grandfather of Lindsay (Lawrence), Katie, Jennifer (Scott), Mike, Sarah, and Philip.
Loving step-father of Trevor (Martha) and Peter.
The family wishes to acknowledge with gratitude the kind and gentle caring of the McMaster Cancer Clinic Ward 3Z and the staff at the Hamilton General ICU.
Private family service and cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of his life will be held at ST. ANDREW'S UNITED CHURCH, 479 Upper Paradise Road, Saturday, February 19th at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to St. Andrew's Church or any charity of your choice.
Bill was blessed with many wonderful friends who cared for him and about him. We thank you all.
