Peacefully at the South Lake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Thursday March 25th, 2004 with her family by her side in her 85th year. "Nanny" has gone to be with her husband Jack. With her "fighting Irish" spirit and her love of family she overcame many challenges, not complaining but rather enjoying all life had to offer. Canada was her home for the past 50 years but always had Ireland in her heart and faithfully returned to visit family each year. She will be missed by all her extended family both in Canada and Northern Ireland, including her daughter Lily, her son-in-law Ernie, grandchildren Kelly and John, Kathy, Geoff, and Amy. Late son Brian, daughter-in-law Pat, and husband Ron; grandchildren Christine, Jody and Pam and Kyle, great grandchildren Corey, Jonathan, Adam, Jaclyn, Jamie-Leigh, Spencer, Henry and Olivia; her sister Pearl and husband Pat and their children; brother Jim and wife Kathleen; late sister Ena and her husband Kenny and their children; sister-in-law Lily and her family; cousin Linda and her husband Andy and their family; her cousins the Jordan family and many more friends and relatives she loved in Ireland.
