Anthony "Tony" Golian
With profound sadness, the family announces his passing on Friday July 11, 2003 at the Henderson Hospital, Hamilton. Tony Golian, of St. Catharines was in his 55th year. He is the cherished and devoted husband of Sandra Golian (Waters) and loving father of Jill Golian (daughter of Patricia Heidebrecht). Tony will be deeply missed by his sister Carol Peters and her late husband Bill of Oshawa, his mother Ann Golian of St. Catharines, his special nephew Christopher Peters and dear friend Geoff Waters. Tony is pre-deceased by his father Anthony Golian.
Tony is the founding owner of Trenergy Inc., and was very active on the local sports scene as an avid golfer and member of the St. Catharines Golf and Country Club. He was also very active in local hockey and lacrosse. He loved flying and had recently satisfied the requirements to obtain his private pilot's license.

Our beloved mum, grandma and great-grandma, Elsie, age 83, passed away July 9, 2003 in Salt Lake City, Utah, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 2, 1920 in Cardiff, Wales, UK. Daughter of Joseph Ernest and Laura Hoyle Harvey.
She was first married to Mortimer Stephen Lewis in 1939 in Cardiff, Wales. After his passing in WWII, she married William Yeomans in 1947 in Cardiff, Wales: solemnized in August 1963 in Logan LDS Temple. She immigrated to Hamilton, Ontario, Canada in 1952. After William's passing in 1988, she moved to Sandy, Utah in 1992. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served faithfully in many positions, including Stake and Ward Relief Society President and Ward Primary President. She also served as a temple worker in the Toronto and Jordan River LDS Temples.
Survived by sisters Violet Hume, Jean (John) Little; daughters Valerie (Vern) Gaudet, Sheila (Craig) Parry, June (John) Sweeney; sons John (Marilyn) Yeomans, William (Donna) Yeomans; 19 grandchildren; 15 great- grand- children. preceded in death by parents; husbands; sisters Winnifred, Ethel, Dorothy and Dulcie; grand-daughter Christine, and her dear friend Mona.
Elsie loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was very athletic, loved to dance, swim, walk and exercise. She was exceptionally creative and talented (knitting, crocheting, sewing and poetry), and an avid genealogist who spent countless hours researching family history. She also loved to travel and explore the world. She was a strong, courageous, dependable woman who found her greatest joy in loving and serving her family and others.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2003, 11:00 a.m., Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, corner of Stone Church and Upper Sherman.
