Predeceased by a sister, Eccle Hill; a brother, Joseph Otis Anderson and by a sister-in-law, May Bruder. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. PETERS, The Rev. George N. - Passed away, January 8, 2003, at Royal Inland Hospital, with his wife Sheila, Tim and Della at his side.He was born February 21, 1930 in Winnipeg, Man. As a young child, he and his family moved to St. Catherines, Ont. After graduation, he worked for the Toronto Dominion Bank for several years. In 1963, he went to McMaster University in Hamilton and from there to Knox College in Toronto. George was ordained June 19, 1968 in Chalmer's Presbyterian Church in Hamilton, Ontario. He was assigned to a two-point charge in Fort MacLeod and Jumbo Valley, Alberta. After four years, he accepted a call from St. Andrew's Presbyterian here in Kamloops where he was the minister from May of 1972 until his retirement on August 31, 1996. George was very active in his community. From the early 1970's for some 18 years, he hosted "Come Celebrate With Us" on Cable 10 Television. He was a longstanding member of the Kamloops Kiwanis Club, the Kamloops Community Y and the "Plura" Society.He is survived by his wife Sheila; son, Timothy and daughter-in-law, Della. Also surviving are his sister, Marlene Bergshoeff and Arie of Hamilton, Ont., Jim and Helen Peters of Burlington, Ont., John and Rose Peters of Perry Sound, Ont., Abe and Hackey Peters of Guelph, Ont.; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Joan and Cec Bot, Eleanor and Ab Cresmasco and Pat Reilly, all of Guelph, Ont. and Ronald and Pat Evans of Kelowna.The Rev. Harold Wiest, the Rev. Joseph MacDonald and the Rev. McKAY, David Brian - Passed away, suddenly, in his sleep, at Guelph, on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003. David (known by his baseball friends as Hack), McKay, in his 42nd year, was the beloved husband and friend of Kara Marie (nee Beitz) McKay.
