LEADLAY, Jean Alice (nee Wagner) - Of Guelph, passed away peacefully, at Caressant Care, Harriston, Saturday, April 19, 2003, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late George C. Leadlay (1990). Loved mother of Rick (Carol) Leadlay of Guelph. Dear aunt of Nancy Rowat of Guelph and Fred Wagner of Peterborough. Cremation followed by interment at Woodlawn cemetery , Guelph. Friends will be received at the Wall-Custance Funeral Home and Chapel, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Thursday, April 24, 2003 (12:30 - 1:30 p.m.), followed by the memorial service, in the funeral home chapel at 1:30 p.m., with the Rev. Lynne Bandy officiating. (Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre). Memorial contributions to the CNIB, P.O. Box 32002 Stn Brm B, Toronto M7Y 5R2 or a charity of choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Jean Leadlay in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph, Arboretum. Dedication service Sunday, Sept. 21, 2003, at 2:30 p.m.

MILLER, Agnes - Agnes Miller, of Stratford, passed away peacefully, at Greenwood Court, on Monday, April 21, 2003. Beloved mother of John and dear friend to Andrey Tarasiuk. Predeceased by sisters, Mary, Margaret, Jean, Christina and Mary Clellend, all of Guelph and by her brother, David of Brantford and Cambridge. Also survived by a sister-in-law, Isabel Clelland and many nieces and nephews, including Margaret Wilson, Mary Martin, Dorothy Rumig and Jack Clelland. Agnes was a longtime resident of Guelph and had been employed with Guelph Carpet Mills and Harding Carpets. In 1998 she moved to Greenwood Court, Stratford, where her senior years were joyous and fulfilling. Farewell to a loving, caring woman, a wonderful mother who lived an honourable, positive life. Interment in Woodlawn cemetery , Guelph, Thursday, April 24 at 2 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Greenwood Court Chapel, 90 Greenwood Drive, Stratford on Friday, April 25 at 2 p.m. Friends are welcome one hour prior to the service. Memorial donations would be appreciated to Greenwood Court, Stratford so that others' lives may be enriched, or to the charity of one's choice through the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford, N5A 5T7.

DURIGON, Jessica - Jessica Marie Claire Durigon, born on March 19, 2002, passed away, on March 21st at 10:50 p.m., 2003 after a courageous battle with cancer. Jessie defied the odds and survived her first birthday; her fighting spirit endured right until the end. Jessie will be smiling down on all of us left behind. She is survived by her big sister Alyssa who Jessie loved most in this world. Parents Rob and Wendy; grandparents, Evelyn and Clare (Boudreau) and Luisa and Oddone; great-grandmothers, Anna D'Angelo and Dee Allan. Godmother and Aunt Dea, Aunts Katherine and Teresa. Uncles George, Tony and Glenn and cousins, Taylor, Joshua, Matthew and Alexander. Many thanks to all our family and friends whose love and support was unbelievable and such a sense of comfort. The family wishes to extend its deepest appreciation to the staff of HSC for their care, attention, warmth and compassion. Special thanks to Drs. Dirks, Bouffet, Susan Harrison and the HSC 5C nursing staff and Care Partners Nurses. Jessie's smile and joy of the simplest things will be sadly missed but always remembered. She was taken from us at such a tender age but the impact of her presence, her courage and her fighting spirit will live in our hearts forever. MacDONELL, Stewart B. - passed away peacefully, on March 27, 2003, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late June MacDonell (Wellhauser). Dear brother of Idena Bartels of Kitchener, Goldie MacDonell and his wife Wendy of Brantford, Fraser MacDonell and his wife Catherine of Seattle, Washington and brother-in-law, Fern Ladouceur "Lad" of Stratford. Predeceased by his sister, Clover Ladouceur and brother, Fairbanks MacDonell. Loving father of Clover and her husband Bob Woods of Guelph, Heather and her husband David Johnston of Belwood and Tim MacDonell of Guelph. Dear sweet Pappy of Bree Woods and her partner Clancy MacDonald, Hanna and Emma Johnston. Sadly missed and deeply loved by his extended Wellhauser family, Hope and Don, Marg, Dot, Jack and Katie, Arlene and Rudy and Pauline. Stew had a special fondness for and dearly loved all his nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his dear friend, Gerry Kelley. Stew was comforted, loved and cared for by his many dedicated and sweet angels, the nurses and staff of Cherrywood Lane at St. Joseph's for the past two years. Thanks to all the volunteers at St. Joseph's for your support. Special blessings to Stewart's many spiritual companions of St. Joseph's Parish, Guelph. In particular those who attended weekday morning Mass and Father Dennis Noon. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Stewart will be Sunday at 3:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Church, Guelph on Monday, March 31, 2003 at 10 a.m. Interment at Marymount cemetery , Guelph. STOAKLEY, Amanda Valerie - On March 24, 2003, at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus, Amanda Valerie, beloved infant daughter of Aileen Jackson and Donald Stoakley. Dearest granddaughter of Val and Tom Jackson of Niagara Falls and Edith and the late Arnold Stoakley of Owen Sound. She will be dearly missed by her aunts, uncles and cousins in Guelph and Owen Sound. Amanda was laid to rest today (Friday, March 28, 2003) at the Belsyde cemetery , Fergus. BROWN, Jean Murray - At her home in Guelph on Monday, March 31, 2003. Jean (Hume) Brown at the age of 81 years. Wife of the late Ernest L. Brown. Daughter of the late Rob and Nell (Wood) Hume. Sister of the late Margaret Hume. Dear friend of the Murch and Florence families. Jean was a graduate of the Toronto Western Hospital School of Nursing 1944. TURNER, Margaret Joy (Buchanan) - At Trafalgar Terrace Retirement Home, London on Monday, March 17, 2003, in her 104th year. Beloved wife of the late T. Melvin Turner (1978). Special mother to Rev. Dr. Gordon B. Turner of Vancouver, B.C. and mother-in-law of Nancy Turner of London. Predeceased by her son, Ronald K. Turner (1999). Also survived by her sisters-in-law, Jennie Buchanan of Toronto and Viola Hart and her husband Fred of Mississauga. Grandmother of Rev. Scott Turnbrook and his wife Jennifer of Prince George, B.C., Shawna and her husband Corey Douglas of London, Bruce Turner and his wife Maggie of Kuujjuak, Quebec, Dean Turner and his wife Satoe of Borden. She is survived by six great-grandchildren, Mae, Stacey, Jessica and Ronald Turner of Kuujjuak, Mikayla Turnbrook of Prince George and Julia Turner of Borden. She was predeceased by her three brothers, Robert, Gilbert and Wallace Buchanan. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place with interment of ashes at a later date in Grove cemetery , Orton, Ont. A service to celebrate the life of Margaret Joy Turner will be held at Wesley-Knox United Church, 91 Askin Street, London on Saturday, March 29 at 11 a.m., which will be followed by a reception in the church parlour. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Mission and Service Fund, c/o Wesley-Knox United Church, 91 Askin Street, London, ON N6C 1E7. The family wishes to acknowledge the special compassionate and loving care extended to Margaret during her 91/2 years at Trafalgar Terrace and most particularly the past month when she was cared for with extraordinary tenderness. GOLDEN, Richard Michael - Peacefully at Lapointe-Fisher Nursing Home, Guelph, on Monday, March 17, 2003, atthe age of 79. Beloved husband of Marie Hughes and the late Florence Vipond (1982). Loving father of Kathy and her husband Bob Jestin of Everton, Mike of Guelph, Pat and his wife Cynthia of Prince George, BC, Marilyn and her husband Dave Prentice of Fergus, Peggy and her husband Bob Flockhart of Inverhaugh. Richard was grandfather to 11 grandchildren and six great-grand-children. He will be missed by his sister, Mary and her husband Jack Ingram and sisters-in-law, Mary Beach, Elizabeth Wilson, JoanVipond, Frances Moran, Barbara Hughes, Jim and Muriel Hughes. Dear uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews. SANVIDO, Jason Edward - Taken away suddenly, at the age of 22 years, near Guelph, Monday, March 17, 2003. Jason will always be deeply loved and sadly missed and never forgotten by his family and friends.
