Arthur Reed passed away at the age of 82 on August 15, 2008, surrounded by family. Arthur spent most of his career as a high school teacher and technical director in London, Oakville (White Oaks High School), and Milton (E. C. Drury). He was a graduate of McMaster University (B.A.) and The University of Toronto (B.Ed.). He is survived by Donna, his loving wife of 57 years, brother Wilf, children Greg, Brent, and Rhonda, and five grandchildren: Erik, Katherine, Aubrey, Breanna, and Andrea. Died at Ian Anderson House, Oakville after a long siege with cancer on Thursday, October 9, 2008. Ken was born on March 20, 1928 in Wallington, Surrey, England. He was predeceased by his parents, his sister Edna (2003) and his beloved daughter Mandy (1987) and his first wife May (1982). He is survived by his beloved wife Marilyn, his son David (Cheryl) and his grandchildren Rob and Catie Franks. He will be greatly missed by his extended family ' Leslie, David, Megan and Whitney Waychison, Michael, Pasha, Anastasia, John-Michael and Gabrielle Townshend, Robert and Julia Milmine. He has been cremated and at his request no service. There will however be a gathering on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 from 4-8 p.m. at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600).
