So many have gone out of their way to make everything a little easier to bear our loss. Your cards, letters, phone calls, prayers, foods, floral tributes and donations have helped immensely. A special hug to Zelda Cooper, Susie Coumbs and Karen Calliss for arranging the dinner between visitations and to the ladies of the Zion United Church for the service luncheon. Our heartfelt gratitude to all doctors, nurses, ambulance attendants and staff members at the Peterborough and Cobourg Regional Health Centres, Access Centre, Paramed, Princess Margaret, Haliburton and Minden hospitals for your medical care during his struggle with cancer. Both your professional and personal care made this illness a little more bearable. As always, to Kirsten, Barry, Donna, Gord and staff of Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home, your continued support and guidance made this task that much easier. He was a very special husband, father and popa to us and we can only thank you all for extending your friendship during his lifetime and leaving us with cherished memories.
