KEENE, Lottie - At Strathaven Life Care Centre, Bowmanville on Sunday, October 22, 2006, Lottie Keene in her 92nd year. Daughter of the late Leonard and Nellie Keene. Dear sister of Rena Wallbridge and the late Clifford, Alex, Earl, Foster, Alma Peoples and Raymond. Aunt Lottie will be sadly missed by Robert Peoples of Oshawa, Jim Wallbridge and Barry Keene both of Toronto, Doug Keene and his wife Kate and their daughter Krystal all of Salmon Arm, B.C. Also survived by her sisters-in-law Marion and Louise Keene. Resting at the Brett “Havelock“ Chapel 7 - 9 p.m. Tuesday, 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Wednesday. Service Thursday at 1:30 p.m. Reverend Robert Morris of Oshawa officiating. Interment Maple Grove cemetery. If desired donations may be made (by cheque only) to the charity of your choice.

Daughter of the late Elizabeth and William Garner. Loving mother of Patricia (the late Donald Chamberlain) of Peterborough. Loving grandmother of Terry, Scott, Steven, Ken and Lori-lynn all of Peterborough and great grandmother to Michael and David Chamberlain of Peterborough. Dear sister of Violet Seaborn “Diana“ of Peterborough. Predeceased by 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Lovingly remembered as “Auntie Lil“ by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the NISBETT FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 600 Monaghan Rd. S. from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Thursday October 26, 2006 followed by a funeral service in the Nisbett Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment at Rosemount Memorial Gardens. If desired, memorial donations to the Five Counties Children Centre Foundation.

Loving husband of the late Christine (nee Crabb - 1992). Loving parent of John, Joanne and Gord. Brother of Barbara Carpenter and the late Richard. Predeceased by his parents Cecil and Jean Fulford and his stepmother Grace. A memorial service will be held at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street on Thursday, October 26, 2006 at 10:30 a.m., Pastor Brian Farmer officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

DUCKER, Richard William “Bill“ James - (Retired from Canadian General Electric 1984 with 42 years service) - Peacefully, on Sunday, October 22, 2006, surrounded by his family, at Fairhaven Home in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Doris (nee Willison) for over 65 years. Loving father of Bill (Angela and Marie), Sandra Sloan (Norm), Charles (Gloria), Betty Chappell (Tom), Albert (Irene), Gloria Campbell (Garry), Donald (Theresa), Shirley Braybrook (Paul), Sharon Moore (Randy), Deborah Heller (Tony), Terry (Cathy), Carol Russell (Mike). Wonderful Grampa to 29 and Great-Grampa to 18. Pre-deceased by his sisters Minnie and her husband William Morrow, Ethel Gibson and her husband William and his infant son, Timothy (1962). Bill was born in Norwich, Norfolk, England December 8, 1919. His family came to Canada when he was 9 months old, aboard the S.S. Melita. They sailed out of Liverpool on October 22, 1920, exactly 86 years ago. Bill was a bowler, a dart player, an avid golfer, playing in the Tuesday afternoon CGE member's gathering at Liftlock Golf Club, where Bill was a member. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street on Thursday, October 26, 2006 at 1:00 pm with visitation one hour prior. Interment Rosemount Memorial Gardens. Donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by Bill's family.

Beloved wife of Ralph Wemp and dear mother of Marie Ward (Brian), David Wemp (Betty) and Kathy Reed (Stewart), all of Amherst Island; Joyce Titley (Grant) of Kingston and Maureen Tasker (Andy) of Charlottetown, P.E.I. Fondly remembered by many grandchildren and several great- grandchildren. Sister of Kenneth Reid (Berniece) of Napanee and the late Edward Reid (Margaret of Sudbury). Funeral Service on Wednesday, October 25th at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Amherst Island, at 2:30 p.m. Interment Glenwood cemetery. Family to receive friends for a time of remembrance at the funeral luncheon in the church hall following the service. Memorial donations made to the Alzheimer Society, St. Alban's Anglican Church or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Dear father of Gloria Jeppesen (Eric) of Sudbury; the late Norma Nugent (Terry of Newburgh); Anita Pennell of Amherstview; Bill (Susan) of RR#1 Tamworth; Joe of Carp; Coralee Babcock (Tim) of Burlington and Tanya Millard (Russell) of Tamworth. Sadly missed by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Brother of Myrtle Rogers and Bev Finn (Gerald) all of Napanee. Proud grandfather of Lauren, Brittany, Erik, Matthew, Rebecca, Taylor, Nathan, Beth, Daniel, Katrina, Riley, Robbin, Jordan, Daniel, Johnathon, Jayson, Melissa, Ariana, and Abigail.
